I’ve had my 2012 S4 since 2015. It has been very reliable except the rear main seal is leaking. I put a stage 1 tune on it which made it a bit quicker. I am going to miss my S4!

This is the fourth Subaru we have bought from Castle Subaru. Dave set us up with Cheyene who helped us get exactly what we wanted. This will primarily be my wife’s car and they did everything to make her happy. Then we got to work with Stephanie who worked with us so we could creatively pay for the car without a loan. The car is a driving dream. Just two interior negatives for me: a very small trunk for even two medium suitcases and a cup holder design that sucks - under front dash so a tall glass/mug won’t fit. Even if it did, it’s blocking the. heating/air control. Please improve those by 2022 when I lease the next!

Very nice upscale vehicle. Bought as a previously 2 yr leased auto, avoiding new car price and immediate depreciation. V-6 engine has no hesitation and quietness is excellent. My only two negatives are lack of storage for incidentals and a bit quirky audio that may reset from time to time ( must wait for it to go through a cycle). It has a mind of its own. Overall, excellent vehicle.

Able to get me #s on payments before I came in. Nick new I was OCD after dealing with me over the phone and accommodated all of my needs and had a beautiful machine. Honestly I got unlucky with mine. It’s a fabulous car in that the performance, comfort and design are amazing for the price but don’t buy one with more than 50k miles. Mine has 74k miles now and I’m staring to have all sorts of problems. Nothing engine related but stuff like sensors no longer functioning properly coolant leakage problems and the little cherry on top was my dsg failing. $5,500 for a new mechatronics unit and now I still have to replace or rebuild my trans. Another $4000 at least. Somehow when researching this car I didn’t realize how it isn’t too uncommon for this cars dsg to just completely fail around 70k-100k miles. Some people’s have even failed before reaching 50k miles. So make sure your trans is in good condition before buying one of these used. Or make sure you have some sort of an extended warranty!
