1999 BMW 323 review
The get-up and go is great. Manual 5 speed is the best experience in driving. Due to the year, I started wishing there were some frills, but I still in the end am hesitant to sell the cool little car.

2000 BMW 323 review
Bright red 4-dr Sport Sedan. Currently at 200,110 mi. Has required only normal wear & tear. No major repairs. Admittedly haven't followed recommended maint, but that hasn't had any negative results. I recently had to replaced the starter motor. Hope I don't have to do that every 20 yrs. In NJ and no rust. (My 84 325e rusted from the inside out and became unsafe (possible engine dropping out if I hit a pot hole) and had to get rid of it after only 28 yrs and 370,000 mi. The 323i/e46 is that last generation of BMW that were still more sporty/fun and less cushy/complex & luxury. Personal taste! I like the handling feedback and sense of control. Safety note: do not drive a BMW in the snow without 4 real snow tires! Turns a deathtrap into a fun, easy to control snow car!!

1999 BMW 323 review
This car has been an exceptional car. It is dependable. It is comfortable. It is good-looking. It is easy-to-drive. It has been a great jump in and drive to work, take a day trip to San Diego or San Francisco, bring small groups to and from workshops kind of vehicle. I could not have asked for more from any car. It is, in a word, the BEST!

1999 BMW 323 review
I imported my e46 with 110k miles and now has 210k and is still flawless. The acceleration and sound of the engine are a marvel to-date. Comfortable and still a head turner even after all these years on the road. A rare Jewel.

1999 BMW 323 review
I've had this car of 24 years and it's just a fun to drive as the day she left the lot. I've meticulously maintained the car, but overall I've not put that much money into it. I never drive it in rain or snow. I use only genuine parts and take it to reputable mechanics. Good performance tires are critical to this cars agility. I recommend Michelins.
