Used BMW 340 for sale near Berkeley, CA

I had Wendy Osterman as our Client Advisor, I have been buying Dodge vehicles since 1984. This is the first time I stepped away from the Dodge family and purchased my first BMW. We bought the X3 M50, what we have found out that this SUV is awesome and have enjoyed driving it everyone we get into it. Bought a used one in November 2023 with 24k miles. Car pulls like a train in any gear. The sport transmission lets you shift and downshift at the moment you press the paddles. There’s no delay. I typically drive the car in sport+. I was able to hit 60 in 4.2 seconds without launch control. I can’t totally speak for reliability but the car so far is good. I have only driven 1000 miles with the car though. The cons I noticed are The dual climate zones don’t have a sync button. So you manually have to change both climate controls, The plastic ac unit cover is pretty flimsy and bends in when you push hard, the trunk button sits a little low for you push when your in the drivers seat. It’s near the front hoodlatch. Most cars have the lock button on the door, for the bmw f30, it’s on top of the hazard lights which is in the center console, also, the Ambient lighting has two lights, orange or white. And both are really dim. Most of these “cons” are personal things. The car drives wonderful and handles amazing. Would recommend this car.

We absolutely love the vehicle. It is a crossover with plenty of room to travel with a sport utility feel. Has enough room to travel with family and just enough speed to get throu the traffic and on the highway.

This car has a great engine... Pulls all the way to red line. It it competitive technology if you a purchase the different available packages. In sport mode this is a fun and sporty car, but throw it back into comfort and it is dainty and comfortable

From first contact through cars.com on my used '05 Boxster to final paperwork, the experience was excellent. Zoe Hutton had the car ready for me when I arrived. My interactions with her felt genuine and without pressure. She did everything to make sure ALL of my questions/concerns about the vehicle were answered, and went out of her way several times to get additional information for me (E.G. Communication about pricing was direct and unambiguous, though there was a small misunderstanding with what I owed, I chalk that up to a gap in my differentiation between the estimated price and total OTD costs which were all laid out, and the OTD price was within tens of dollars of my expectation, so I'm quite happy with that. Lea Schneider helped me work that out and was again very clear and pro-actively helpful in sorting it all out. Overall, the experience was great. The car was of course ready, clean, and full of fuel on pickup. It was obvious from the start that the people I interacted with were there to make sure I was satisfied, but not in a smarmy or obsequious way. Thanks for a wonderful buying experience!

This car is sporty, comfortable and reliable yet tight suspension and steering and very reliable...a real pleasure to drive and owndoes not fade with age and fast!

Wonderful service got my oil changed! Service advisor worked me in they were short handed and the wait was about an hour! They have a clean service department! Great customer service!

Wasn't my first choice, was actually in the market for my favorite car which is B8.5 Audi S4. Was unable to find one in decent condition with low miles in this similar price range. Came across this and was able to make the numbers work, and boom...now she's mine. Only thing missing that i wanted was the red interior and the track handling package. Other than that everything is perfect...

They were very easy to work with but I didn’t see the flaws in the paint in the photos online. However I love the car even though it is a bit beat up. It is a 2014 after all.

I've owned this car for 6 years with 123k km and it was the most reliable car I've ever owned, it's very fast in a straight line too, wicked performance, the B58 is so good that Toyota borrowed it lol, one tiny thing I didn't like was how the steering wheels feels in comfort, it was too much of a electric feel but was easily fixed by some wider mitchellin tires. But just do you regularly oil change and you're good, 2015+ BMW's are very very reliable, that's something I thought I'd never day.

Super fast. Very comfortable interior. Simply a pleasure to drive. A couple of annoying caveats about the interior design, specifically the door lock switch being in the center of the dashboard, and the window seals around the driver side and passenger side front windows can leak a little air at high speeds. Those are superficial.

Best sedan there is for the money. Very fast and the classic 3 series look. Overall, high quality interior, smooth ride, great speakers, apple CarPlay. Space can be a little limited in terms of where to put your phone, luggage, etc but that is expected in a smaller sedan. I have also had a newer WRX and this car is better in every single way except for reliability. Only had 1 minor issue with this car so far and it runs great.

Excellent overall experience. Sales representative was not the most knowledgeable, but was very attentive. The facility was clean and sales did not apply pressure. Representative made several follow-up calls which were appropriate and helpful to my search.

This is one of the most fun car to drive as a daily driver. The fact that it produces maximum torque at 1400 RPM makes it a very exciting experience. 1 thing I didn't like about the steering on this car felt light and a bit numb at times.

Allan did an amazing job of helping me get info on cars and CarMax process. Ultimately they didn't have the car I wanted but I did end up selling my used Kia there. Kim was amazing and super pleasant to deal with throughout the whole process exchange. Will use them in the future 100% if I need to.

We purchased the manual transmission 340xi and it is a fantastic sports sedan. We feel I love all over again with stick shift and can’t way to explore the functionality of the vehicle and to test the performance.

What’s not to like, super rare 2014 with Superman looks and manual trans. Not sure how you guys found this one , but it’s a 19K mile gem! My nephew loves his new ride!
