I purchased the 540i xDrive with shadowline package in March 2022. The exterior is absolutely beautiful, The vehicle handles very well. Excellent acceleration. I love the option to be able to switch driving element from economy, comfort or sport. Driver assist works great; even on curves. There’s not much back seat room to move your feet, or if you have big feet, but overall a very comfortable vehicle. I can’t think of any other luxury sedan I’d select over it.

Excellent performance and comfort. Rides well, quick and responsive. Hate the run flat tires, but other than that it is wonderful. I would suggest the industry not use run flat tires. Seems to have a shorter life and is a major pain if a flat occurs in a rural area.

This is my first new BMW in 10 years. Although a few touches remain the same, the car is mostly a new design. The interior is sumptuous in the cognac color; the light package allows for a change in ambiance and feeling. There are three driving modes that add to the feel of the wheel and car. The new 48 volt electrical system overcomes the stop mode so that I can pull away from a stop with smooth ease. The engine is a power house with a smooth and potent turbo. I added the larger brakes with the red calipers for stopping and looks with the 19" wheels. Very happy with the purchase.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Absolutely love driving this car, BMW is the ultimate driving machine. It handles like it on rails, acceleration is fabulous, it’s an awesome car to drive.

I brought the car in for an oil change and tire rotation and left with a safer car. A 4 tires lost air pressure in the cold snap 3 bounced back when it warmed and one didn't. They found a leak and repaired it. A damaged suspension component was also found. That was likely something missed by the body shop that repaired a minor fender bender last year. I was also given a ride home and a pick up when the need for extra work was determined. Great service, highly recommend.

I recently bought a BMW 540i xdrive. It has ample acceleration, excellent handling on curves, a ride that is neither harsh nor floaty, and gets decent mileage. Wind and road noise are well suppressed, and the Harmon-Kardon stereo system is excellent. The built-in navigation system is also the best of those I've experienced. The trunk is adequate for vacation traveling, the rear seat folds, and there is adequate leg room for rear passengers. The only drawbacks are that the car was over-engineered with three different ways of doing almost everything: voice command, iDrive, and touch screen. The owner's manual is available online and in printed format, but the instructions are difficult to find and to follow. There are some features missing in a passenger car in this price and size segment: rear seat temperature control, and passenger seat memory. I also find the standard front seats a little narrow compared to the Volvo I had been driving.

The dealership contacted me and followed through on everything I asked and needed of them. Great overall experience.
