Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. Excellent performance and comfort. Rides well, quick and responsive. Hate the run flat tires, but other than that it is wonderful. I would suggest the industry not use run flat tires. Seems to have a shorter life and is a major pain if a flat occurs in a rural area.

This is my first new BMW in 10 years. Although a few touches remain the same, the car is mostly a new design. The interior is sumptuous in the cognac color; the light package allows for a change in ambiance and feeling. There are three driving modes that add to the feel of the wheel and car. The new 48 volt electrical system overcomes the stop mode so that I can pull away from a stop with smooth ease. The engine is a power house with a smooth and potent turbo. I added the larger brakes with the red calipers for stopping and looks with the 19" wheels. Very happy with the purchase.

I purchased the 540i xDrive with shadowline package in March 2022. The exterior is absolutely beautiful, The vehicle handles very well. Excellent acceleration. I love the option to be able to switch driving element from economy, comfort or sport. Driver assist works great; even on curves. There’s not much back seat room to move your feet, or if you have big feet, but overall a very comfortable vehicle. I can’t think of any other luxury sedan I’d select over it.

A great daily driver that is comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. The tech features are low stress and easy. Always feels ready to reduce stress with spirted driving. Has a way of wrapping around you to feel like a smaller car as you drive and still be large enough to feel safe on a road full of crossovers.

They had no problem with us taking it to our mechanic to have it checked out. It coded on a few items & they repaired those items & even items that we didn’t ask them to fix. Once again BMW has exceeded my expectations. This car is everything I have come to expect and more! This is our 8th BMW purchase. Nothing else compares to the performance and styling.

2003 was the last year for this series, and the 540 M Sport was probably the best balanced option of this series. The 4.4 ltr motor is powerful and bullet proof from this Era. 220,000 miles on these engines before work needs to be done on timing chain guides, then good to go again... they just run great and pull hard. Much more reliable and fun than the "twin power turbo" BMWs that have come and gone from my garage (while the 540 M Sport has stayed.) The 6 speed stick is the way to go. Awesome match up with the motor, and with the performance and solid handling of the M Sport suspension there is no comparison even on the market today. Classic lines... always compliments from other drivers. These cars are fun and are just going up in value. Strongly recommend. More fun than an 80's Porsche 911 stick shift and WAY less maintenance.

I love this vehicle. Reliable, comfortable, powerful, always feels like it’s capable of delivering more no matter the speed or scenario. Excellent air conditioning in the swealtering Florida sun. Leather holds up extremely well, trim pieces are all still in excellent condition after years of use. Absolute joy and pleasure to drive. Comfort access, premium audio and the technology packages are a must.
