Very good experience. Sons first car buying trip!

My 20 year old son is looking for a 2006 Subaru WRX STI. He has done alot of research and wanted that specific year and model. ADI had a 2006 and a 2007. He called Mike at ADI and set up the appointment and my son asked me to join him. He already had values for his Jeep trade in and the cars being considered for purchase.I explained to Mike that this was my sons first car buying experience and I as there to help. We were allowed to test drive the vehicle and then allowed them to inspect the trade in for value. Mike offered his deal and allowed my son and I to discuss all the variables without interruption. In the end we could not get the numbers to a place where we felt comfortable. Mike even let us drive other cars on the lot as I attempted to get my son to make a more practical purchase. End the end Mike gave my son some advice, "listen to your father." How many salespersons say that! We left without any hassle and he invited us back anytime we wanted to see any vehicle. ADI has a GREAT selection of unique vehicles. Mike explained how they purchase, manage inventory and sell. Seemed very open and honest about everything. The vehicles were so nice I will definitely look at buying my next vehicle from ADI! Nice job guys!

Most beautiful car BMW ever built. BMW's Soul.

I am never happier than when I sit be hind the wheel of my 850 and pilot it through the curves in the canyon. I enjoy the sound that abruptly erupts when I turn the key in the sleeping beauty and all 12 little worker bees (pistons) start their chores. I get a thrill every time I open the hood and see the 12 runners that disappear into the bowels of the beast and according to the uhhhs and ahhhs I hear from people standing around watching - so do they. This car is stupid cheap at the moment and buying one should be on every enthusiasts list. It is EASY to maintain on your own - there is a great forum online to help you - just don't take it to the dealer!!

Being from out of state I had reservations as to how I would be treated once the deal was made and paid for. However: I quickly learned that the dealer was up front, repaired what they said they would, and made the transaction and shipping very smooth. A particular thanks to Rob Venlet, your help and honesty is greatly appreciated! Robert F. Brown Clearfield, Pa.

Best exotic deal anywhere

This car is one of the best kept secrets in the collector car world. The level of sophistication, mechanical engineering, design and timeless beauty belies the fact that the car was designed in 1984-1986. Those who think this car has to be expensive to maintain, clearly have never tried to maintain one on their own. There is nothing you can't maintain yourself - I know I have 5 of them and they all drive. Parts are available all over the internet at a fraction of the price the dealer wants. I do not spend more on these cars than I have done on any other high end production car except when I change spark plugs - I have to buy a few extra! For those who want more power, there are engine chips and super chargers available as well as a myriad of suspension and brake upgrades. The trick is to NOT take it to the dealer, but to join the forums and other entities that deal with 850's and then maintain the car yourself. Maybe find a good local shop that does not see you as a meal ticket, but has an interest in helping you keep you car running. All the help you need is available from a very strong group effort all across the world. Go ahead - get one while the price is still ridiculously low - and enjoy the performance of the best of German engineering as well as the sleek design of this beauty. I am snapping up as many as I can get my hands on.

Out of State Purchase
by Missouri B from Springfield, MO

Henry and his team were very supportive of my needs. Henry went out of his way to not only make sure the car was as advertised, but he went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the car. Being out of state, I had to travel about 500 miles to see the car and finalize the deal. Having a previously bad experience buying a vehicle several years ago at a different dealership, Henry made me feel extremely confident in him and his integrity about the car. I would highly recommend Henry and Twins Auto and I am very happy with my purchase.

Pseudo exotic

The 850 is a timeless design and a joy to look at. Any car with a V-12 is a pleasure to drive on the highway. The BMW 850 is heavy and softly sprung in stock form by today's standards. Modest lowering springs, chips and lower profile tires solves its problems to a very acceptable level. A BMW V-12 is truly two I-6's mated together. One half of the engine will continue to work if the other side has a fault. So it's very reliable as a commuter. But that also means professional repairs can be expensive searching for the engine problem. If your willing to do some work yourself, the 850 is not that expensive to own and repair. Avoid dealerships. Their people have no idea how to fix an 8. A local Bimmer shop you trust can save you thousands. For a pseudo exotic, the 850 is a fabulous car; that's why I have two of them. It is Not a sports car. The 850 is 1990's world class grand tourer. Ask it to do that, and you will love the car to death.

Excellent car buying experience!

I bought a 2011 Mercedes R350 from Bemer Motors. I love this car!!! I test drove one day and came back next day to buy. When I got in to leave I noticed they replaced the cracked windshield, I didn't even have to ask them to! I also get free oil changes for the life of my vehicle! What a deal! Oil changes on a Mercedes are usually $100 plus. This business has been around since the early 80's. They aren't going anywhere. Also, most the people that work there are family, and when you are there you feel like you are part of this wonderful family! The owner greeted my family at the door, gave my kiddos blowpops, showed my youngest son one of the coolest little 1960's BMW's and even let him sit inside for a picture. My 9 month old baby was also so taken with him. She would smile at him non stop and he was so sweet to her. You don't get this kind of attention at a huge car lot. To them you mean money and that is all. At Bemer Motors they treat you like you are part of the family. I asked all kinds of questions and learned so much about the business, how they operate. I learned about each family member that works there and what they do too. This family is superb! Wish I was part of it😉. All of there vehicles were beautiful inside and out. They are all purchased from large local dealerships too. Not some online auction. Also, since they have a service department they go over EVERYTHING! Plus you get a free 6 month or 6,000 mile warranty on your car. They are that confident in their inventory and what they sell! They truly care about their customers. Finance was super fast and easy too and my credit is sub par. I promise you, this place is an oasis in a desert of note lots and big chain dealerships. Talk about finding a diamond in the rough! They know their inventory and are 100% professional and courteous. I promise, I will be a customer for life!

Having owned my 91 850i 6 speed for 5 years now I can safely say that I have personally enjoyed this car like no other I have ever owned. It is a blast to drive and as unique as it gets. I"ve seen one other on the road in 5 years. The whole ownership experience including driving, maintenance and repair has been a pleasure. From a technical stand point I dont' think there is another car out there built as well for working on and I have owned and maintained many. I highly recomend modest lowering and larger 18"wheels with sport shocks for the best value in an upgrade. Like any other car 20 years old be prepared for faults and if buying one DO pay an expert to assess the condition if you have any doubts. I was lucky but can appreciate what it would cost to bring a poorly maintained example up to snuff. Paying a few thousand more for a good one with lots of service history will potentially save thousands more in the long run.

3 Pilots, 3 dealerships
by Aaron&Nicole from DealerRater.com
December 3, 2018

My husband and I picked up our third pilot this past weekend and it was our best experience with Honda. We called ahead of time and spoke with Shane and Mike at Parkway to let them know what we were looking for. When we arrived at the dealership Saturday morning our new pilot was parked in front of the dealership and waiting for us. In about an hour we had an agreement for the trade in on the pilot we owned (we had equity in the trade), the paperwork was signed, we had keys in hand and received personalized education on the functions of the car. Our 10 and 12 year old children had an area where they could hang out and stay busy while we were working with Shane and Mike. We have been using the Parkway service department since our first Pilot purchase in 2013 and have always loved this dealership. This past weekend was our first experience with the sales/finance team and they were both exactly what we were looking for, helpful, friendly, and personable. Our history with Honda: In 2013 we leased our first pilot. It was a spur of the moment decision and we weren't prepared for the purchase. We stopped at a dealership in PA on our way home to OH to make the deal. The entire transaction took more than 6 hours. It was exhausting, but we drove away in our first pilot. Because Parkway was closer to home, that first pilot was always serviced at Parkway. In 2016, when the lease was up for the first pilot, we traded it in (with equity) at another dealership in NE Ohio (simply because we were in that area, but we should have waited and went to Parkway). That trade in was quicker than 6 hours, but still not an amazingly fast deal. We also had a few details to work out with the hinge on the fuel tank and a few other small details that the dealership struggled to take care of for us. Again, we ended up at Parkway for all of our service needs and they took great care of us. Even though we had an oil change package at the dealership where we purchased our second pilot, we gave that up so we could have the better service at Parkway. This past weekend, we traded the second pilot in for a lease on our third pilot and are proud to give all of our business to Parkway. My extended family has been purchasing vehicles from Parkway for years and like them, we will only buy from Parkway going forward.

Fantastic BMW Purchase Experience!

I live in California and made my BMW M3 purchase from the Enthusiast Auto Group over the Internet. As you can imagine, buying a vehicle online can be a daunting experience, however Evan, of EGA, assisted me through the entire process. The purchase went very smooth and I am expecting delivery here shortly. I would HIGHLY recommend EAG for your next BMW purchase – they know what they are talking about, are willing to go the extra mile to help, and I feel they will be a partner for life, even after I have already owned my vehicle and should I have any questions/concerns in the future. I would give them a higher rating that 5-stars, if I could!

Love my 330i X Drive Replacement for my 2008 One Series
by Judy J. from DealerRater.com
November 6, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4.6 (1180 reviews)
My journey to getting the perfect car for me began when I experienced respiratory symptoms in a new Audi A4 that my husband purchased when we planned to downsize to one car. By the end of one month, though, I knew I would not be able to keep the car because of some health problems it was creating with my respiratory system. I suspected that the problem was the type of leather Audi uses in their cars, as I have had the same issues with certain types of leather handbags. I visited Kuni to see if my suspicions were correct, as I had purchased several BMWs over the years (with leather or the leather-look SensaTec) and had not experienced problems in any of them. Jakob Lund searched and found a new 2017 330i X Drive that had SensaTec seats and was "just off the truck." I was able to take the car out overnight so I could observe whether or not the respiratory symptoms would show up...and they did not. Jacob took both the Audi and my '08 One Series in as trades, and I ordered the perfect car for me....just taking possession last week. I took the car on a road trip this past weekend and I am so pleased. It's fast, quiet, comfortable, beautiful, and most importantly, does not cause me respiratory distress. The customer service at all levels at Kuni is excellent. They really do want you to be happy with your purchase, and they hire great people to make that happen at all levels. If I need another car in the future, I will be at Kuni again!
