I bought my first BMW in 2014. A new 640XI convertible... I have purchased many new vehicles including 5 Lexus 4LS models and 1 Sports coupe. The BMW was without a doubt the best. Now with regard to customer service as well as service departments (which is almost as important as the car model I select) Rallye BMW was without a doubt the best in both categories. So now that my BMW is eleven years old my wife and I decided it was time to look for a new car. There wasn't much to think about so we returned to my Rallye BMW dealership in Westbury and go for a test drive. Immediately after that test drive we returned to the dealer and negotiated the purchase of a new 2026 8XI convertible. We met with our service advisor, Frank Trotta, who has been taking great care of the 2014 model and gave him the good news: Frank we are buying a new BMW. Mr. Fitzgerald, When you and Mrs. Fitzgerald can come in I will introduce you to my friend Angelo a sales Representative...We met Angelo, another great representative from Rallye BMW and now we are waiting for delivery. BMW's, specifically M series can sometimes get a bad rep for reliability and the markup in service cost if out of warranty. This couldn't be further from the truth...I've owned two f80 M3s and these things are extremely well-engineered and other than the random crankhub issues (typically caused by loose crankbolts from the factory or bad tunes that on-ramp torque too quickly) these cars are bullet-proof. I've put over 70,000 miles on this chassis and have had ZERO headaches, zero mechanical surprises and nothing but a xxxx eating grin from ear to ear each and every time I drive one. BMW did a knockout job mechanically and cosemetically with this generation F8X M3 and they've prooven to hold-up against the test of time. With petrol engines being phased out, this car is sure to continue to hold it's value!!!

The M3 has gotten very luxurious while losing nothing in performance. Choices abound. the car starts in comfort/efficiency mode, if you are just going to the supermarket. But two "M" buttons on the steering wheel (you set them up yourself) can quickly change that. I have M1 set up for sporty and M2 for "to the max". The seats are a bit firm. I can ask the car to cool itself via a BMW app 10 minutes before I arrive. Many things like that. The manual transmission is standard BMW, similar to my 14 year old 1M. Many options are via virtual buttons, menus, and submenus, but I got used to it faster than I expected. Through the app I can check how much gas I have and what the tire pressure is and where I've driven (you can turn that off). It can connect to the dealer for regular maintenance. It's amazing! I'm not crazy over the electric clutch, but I'm getting used to it.

I have owned many performance cars over the years and to date the 2022 M3 Competition is the best car the I have owned and the most exciting and rewarding to drive.

I bought this car a year ago because I drove one like it in the Black Forest ten years ago and it was a blast I never forgot. This convertible's inline naturally aspirated 6 is the best sounding and revving engine ever! It has a Dinan exhaust which completes the package. With 19s al around it sticks to the road like glue!!I can't wait to drive it every time I can and hate storing it over the winter!!

Watch out for scams these cars are at least worth 11,000 dollars. Besides that this cars motor was designed by BMW's F1 Team and in my opinion one of the best engines made in the 80's.

I traded in my 992 911S for a 992 GT3. Since then, I just had my GT3 serviced at Porsche Englewood on September 16th 2025. Nico at service gave me all the information on what the car was going to receive that day along with a loaner. He’s a Porsche owner himself, super nice, knowledgeable as a former Porsche tech and got me on my way promptly. Brian was the Porsche tech that worked on my car. He provided me with video and messaging updates of my car. The 5 min videos were very informative and thorough, sent 2x 5 min videos to me going over the entire car, priceless. The E92 BMW M3 competition introduced in 2011 is a magical sweet spot in sports cars and the M lineup in particular. THREE circles overlap. ONE. The S65 engine is bespoke, only introduced in the 2008-2013 model. The normally aspirated 4.0L V8 weighs less than the inline 6 it replaces from the E46 and revs to 8300 rpm with 100 more hp. Literally the international engine of the year during every year of its production. Importantly it has no turbos. 8 separate throttle bodies, and a lightweight fly wheel. It will teach you what throttle response really means and overlaps with.. TWO. In the ZCP competition variant of the E92 this mates with a Getrag dual clutch. A manual lover, this made me switch religion. Odd/even transmissions and millisecond shifts with no gap in power pair perfectly with the race revving v8. And THREE.. sublime MDM traction control. All newer M models with turbo engines and comparatively sluggish throttle response include this. This is the final overlap. Instant throttle plus instant transmission plus instant handling equals the car dancing in and out of its performance envelope like a trained show dog. Buy one and good luck. I have several Ms. Not selling this one. Oh.. Minuses: Eats expensive tires like popcorn, sell your clutch foot to pay for brake platters. Head gaskets ooze around the 100k range. Worth it.

I fell in love with this car the first time I saw it. Arctic Silver over Black Leather , with the sunroof open I think it's the most beautiful car on the road. Threads into corners like a race car - engine note subtle but sweet- if you can find a well cared for low mileage example you won't be disappointed.

They sold me a 2024 Honda Accord. Window sticker brand new was $36,000. After their fees (Which they did have guys) taxes, dmv and state fees.. we ended up paying $33,000. $3K more than originally listed price. This is still a fair deal. The vehicle had 1.5K miles only on it. Therefore, i am ok with saving $3K-$5K all day. Because new car would have been window sticker plus tax etc. also they are very friendly. The guy in the front knows how to work magic

This car is an absolute monster on the street but feels like the safest car I've ever driven. They really thought of everything - I don't think there's a better or more fun car out there.

Easy to upgrade (e.g. DINAN) and can actually fit 4 people. Strong motor from the famous E46 series and stays glued to the road. Though a smaller convertible, it is heavy and solid giving a very safe feeling. Also, you can actually have the top down with golf clubs or groceries in the trunk!

I bought this 2016 Mineral white M3 Dct fully loaded with every option except extended leather in 2017 with 6000 miles on the clock. The car has been an exhilarating joy to own and nothing compares to it in its price range. Sure you can buy a Camaro, Dodge or a Mustang for less money but neither have the interior, body design, or finesse the M3 has. The DCT is second only to Porsche's PDK. Yes, I've owned and driven a lot of cars to make these comparisons. Reliability and maintenance 40k miles later has been a positive because things do not break as long as you are routine about your maintenance intervals, but remember this is a BMW so maintenance is not cheap. Would I buy again? Without a second thought I would as I prepare for purchase and the release of the G80 M3 Awd in 2021. Something the M3 is in need of due to torque of the rear wheel drive F80.
