Driving from Virginia to Florida on a Saturday afternoon to go on a cruise, we had a flat on our 2023 BMW 840 GC. Thankfully the run flats allowed us to safely get off the interstate and to a convenience store parking lot. AAA got us to Hilton Head BMW where Lindsey, after verifying she had replacement tires, was keeping a service tech after normal hours to install 2 new front tires. I've owned a number of BMWs in the past, all with six speed manual transmissions. This time around I went looking for a clean, low mile 330i within a certain price range. I did some research and found five possible cars in the Southern Cal market. I first came to Carlsbad BMW because a friend of mine had enjoyed a good experience buying his X5. I made an appointment and feel like I lucked out with salesman Demetrio Trujillo. He knew his stuff and, once he realized I knew something of these cars too, showed me the car and offered me straightforward information without any hype or attitude. He knew the car because he had sold it the first time when it was new! At any rate I ended up buying the car and Demetrio made what could have been an enervating experience much easier.
