I upgraded to the 2020 Z4 M40i after having a 2006 Z4 3.0i. The exterior styling and sound gets looks and complements at least once a day when driving. The interior is modern and has lots of the most up to date technology, although I wish less plastic was used. It drives awesome, and I am very pleased with the car.

I was very pleased with my service advisor Brandi. She was able to secure me a loaner car in my time of need and kept me informed on the needed repairs. The repair costs were extremely expensive. This was the second time having an issue with leaking coolant this year.

After moving to Florida, I've been looking for a used sport convertible as a 2nd car for having fun on the road. After test driving the Mazda Miata and the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth, I found the 2012 BMW Z4 to be much more comfortable for my size (6ft. 1in). I also like the classic design, additional luxury accessories and the retractable hardtop. Even though a 2012 Z4 is priced higher than later model Mazdas and Fiats, for me it was worth the extra money.

Beautiful, powerful/ quick, head turning Roadster! With sport option activated the handling is incredible: steering tightens up and the sound of the engine changes as the shifting spreads out and then there's the cool backflow muffler sound. The convertible top down, premium stereo playing, dual turbos kicking in, and driving just got so much fun!

We have purchased 12 cars since 2004. The buying experience has always been straight forward....easy and fair. No games. The service department is great and have never had a problem getting appointments for routine mantainance. In 12 cars only 2 minor warranty visits immediately taken care of. I have financed and leased and have always had confidence in that department to provide the deal etc that is best for us at the time and they have done so. My first car was a triumph spitfire. I am a huge fan of the two seat roadster. I'm an even bigger fan of a hardtop convertible. I am not a BMW fanboy. I wish this car were not a BMW. I bought it because it's beautiful and when I drove it, it made me freaking happy. 300 plus horsepower, I've never even felt the need to put my manual transmission 35i in sport or sport Plus mode. The thing is gorgeous top up or down, a blast to drive, and often over neglected is that all four Windows go down making it a pillarless coupe with the top up. Flawlessly reliable in 14,000 miles, cockpit is tight if you put it on a few extra pounds. Such a beautiful beautiful car. Mine's a 2014, and every single time I go out someone comments about it. Unfortunately, when you're driving it people aren't as friendly because it's a BMW. Best roadster I've ever owned in a very long line of roadsters

We purchased the Z4 M40i model. While not the fastest sports car it certainly does not leave us wanting for more power. The ride and handling exceeded our expectations. We drove it 600 miles back home after purchasing and it was a very good long distance cruiser and returned 35 mpg going 85 mph. Pretty impressive for this level of performance. Wind buffeting is well controlled and at highway speeds with the top down and window up you are able to carry on a conversation at a normal level. The sound of the exhaust is awesome especially in sport mode. It pops and crackles and brings a grin to our faces. A few gripes though. 1. Storage inside is pretty limited as expected in such a small car but I think there were missed opportunities in several areas. 2. The base audio is not very good. I would highly recommend getting the upgraded Harmon Kardon. I had that system in my 428 and it was really good. Overall it is an awesome car and we are completely happy with our purchase.
