I've been a BMW fan for many years, and this 428i has not disappointed. It drives and handles just as it should, and the 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is excellent. The seatbelt 'presenters' do not work well, and the door pull handles melt in the Florida heat; other than those two little annoyances, this is an exceptional automobile.

Super fun car to drive. Love the B58 engine, tons of power and suuuper smooth. Handling is next level and it just feels it will turn through anything! Everyone I've shown it to totally loves it. The gas mileage is also much better than I was expecting, coming from a tuned VW GTI. I never considered myself a convertible person, but I ended up buying the convertible anyway cause I figured it would be fun. I'm not a huge fan of the seats given this is one step below a full blown M2. They're decently comfortable, but they look awfully boring compared to something like Audi and the quilted leather they use. The one other thing is the soft top has a bit of a squeak, though to be fair I really haven't looked into getting it fixed so it could be super minor. Very much looking forward to more driving!

There is the Z3, and then there is the ///M Roadster. I stumbled upon a 2001 Z3 2.5i years back, and was well satisfied with the look, feel and performance of the car. That was of course, until I had the opportunity to test drive a 2000 ///M Roadster. They looked similar, with several cosmetic differences, but from the moment I released the clutch pedal and nearly launched out of the dealer's parking lot, I knew that I had robbed myself by purchasing the Z3 before the M Roadster. I now own two M Roadsters and they both are just as fun to drive as when I first bought them. The 2002 has an extra allure to it for being the last production year, and having the S54 motor. The looks of the car are unique and sexy. There will probably never be another BMW roady with the lines that the Z3M carry. Although the Z3 coupe is said to have an unappealing look or that of a shoe, the M Roadster manages to steer away from such statements. Inside, it is designed to be a true sports enthusiast's car. Simplicity with luxury is what I like to call it, but much more comfortable than an Elise. Handling of the car is solid. Going into corners is just as enjoyable as coming out of them, and the motor sounds great without modification. After owning two M Roadsters for over 3 years, the biggest maintenance job I have dealt with is brakes/tires/oil/gas. Not in that order. No motor/tranny/clutch problems at all. If driven responsibly, you will have no problems making it well into the 100k mileage with zero issues outside of standard wear and tear. Try not to keep it out on a rainy day however, as the convertible top is known for minor leaks near the top latch. This too can be rectified by ensuring that the top is closed firmly. Overall, this is an excellent entry level super car. Enthusiasts need not hesitate unless they plan on having more gadgets in their Roadster than driver. This car was not meant to come equipped with nav, steering wheel shifting flaps or space for groceries. It's meant to be driven by heart, passion and a love for simplicity with style.

I bought my first BMW in 2014. A new 640XI convertible... I have purchased many new vehicles including 5 Lexus 4LS models and 1 Sports coupe. The BMW was without a doubt the best. Now with regard to customer service as well as service departments (which is almost as important as the car model I select) Rallye BMW was without a doubt the best in both categories. So now that my BMW is eleven years old my wife and I decided it was time to look for a new car. There wasn't much to think about so we returned to my Rallye BMW dealership in Westbury and go for a test drive. Immediately after that test drive we returned to the dealer and negotiated the purchase of a new 2026 8XI convertible. We met with our service advisor, Frank Trotta, who has been taking great care of the 2014 model and gave him the good news: Frank we are buying a new BMW. I have a sunset orange metallic convertible with cognac interior and a black top. Very sporty. Get a lot of compliments. Zippy. Love the combination as I ordered it from the factory. A little tight on the inside but manageable.

Recently purchased a 2024 4 series convertible. Love the way it looks and drives. ‘Ordered the car with the assumption that it had the cruise control and lane as dust that I was used to in my other vehicles. This car does not come standard with a front facing camera. Also does not come standard with the cruise that is what I call “radar” cruise. Just putting it out there for anyone shopping. I do love the car.

I am in love with my "new" 2007 si roadster convertible. The stock exhaust and engine have such a great sound. Performance output is just enough to excite and feed your senses for speed. If you want more speed get a dragster and race it at a local dragstip. In my eyes BMW truly built a great machine the Z4 is already a sought after classic sports car for the auto enthusiast!

I have owned my 2007 BMW Z4 3.0si roadster since I bought it new in 2007. I love the car! As a disagreement with the review, I was in the dealership for servicing in 2009 and viewed the longer rear end added to the new Z4 to allow for the new retractable hardtop. I visually disliked the car because it became so big it was no longer a roadster in my opinion. Same reason that I did not purchase the 2007 Corvette (runner-up to the Z4). The Corvette was too big and bulky of a car. So to each their own. I do believe that sales of Z4 dropped in 2009 with this longer version. Others did not like it as well.

My experience start to finish was nothing short of excellent. I live in Wyoming and saw a car I’d been searching for for many months. I was a little hesitant to buy at a distance sight unseen but from the first call I received nothing but transparency and honesty. I requested some up close photos and video walk around. I got that shortly after my request, and in amazing detail! Mike was honest and forthright and answered all my questions with patience and respect. I’ve never bought a car at a distance before but I can say that I am extremely pleased with my new car. It was well described, and honestly arrived in better than I expected. It is a used car but the quality and attention to detail shows better in person than did in the photos! I love my 335is sedan. It has the sport and winter packages, was about 50k when new, I got mine for $5500 with 150 k on it. 3.0 twin turbo motor runs great, loads of torque and power. 0-60 under 5 seconds and 30 mpg on the highway is a great combination. N54 motor has forged internals and is upgradable to 600 horsepower with mostly bolt-ons, check You Tube to see how this car is being bought by people looking to get big horsepower for relatively little money. It's not exactly cheap to do, but cheaper than most. This is an amazingly beautiful car as well, mine is black and when detailed, looks like a brand new car that gets thumbs up and positive comments from strangers at 7-11. I painted the silver sport rims gloss black, bought a $150 carbon fiber rear trunk spoiler and added some M badges and the car looks great.. I think it is one of the nicest looking sedans ever made. Get one before they disappear like old Supras, 240 sx's, and Datsun 510's from the 70s. Great car.

I’ve had this 2009 sport wagon since 2016. Bought it with 68k miles. It’s now at 118k miles. Plan on $1500-$2000/year for maintenance and I think it will easily go 200k miles. Fast enough, good handling, doesn’t attract police. My Best Buy.

I'd been driving 328i's for over 10 years but always wanted an M3.  I only wanted an E92/S-65 version and took my time to find the right one.  I found it two years ago (in 2018) at a dealership 900 miles away from where I live:  It was a 2013 with only 27,800 miles on it.  I flew down to check it out.  It was Space Grey and had the competition package and cold weather package.  Another interesting feature I discovered when I got there, was that it also had the Dinan exhaust system as well.  The dealer never mentioned that and the web pictures never showed it.  He had no idea of the added value.  The car was spotless and I was impressed. The test drive sealed the deal.  What a machine. I felt I stole it for $34,000.  It has the 7 speed dual clutch tranny.  I've always driven sticks, and my previous 328's were all sticks, but at 61 years of age, and with the idiot drivers in NC, I actually preferred a slushbox at this point.  The dual clutch tranny is outstanding.  The shifts are tighter than anything I could ever do with the manual, but if I want to go into sport mode, I can do it grabbing the console shifter or by tapping the paddles.   While the M3 is more known for its speed, it is also incredibly comfortable to drive.  The leather seats are well cushioned and just hug you from the side.  I have a bad back, and driving this home from Miami to NC straight through, I had no additional pain at all by the end of the trip.  The interior trim is fairly simple  but well appointed.  Mine has the wood grained dash, and also has the rear window power sun screen.  Also has the recessed GPS and the premium sound system.  This car is the last of a rare breed - a naturally aspirated V-8 with a sound that is simply glorious.  It has three tones: a low smooth rumble at idle, a growl with normal acceleration, and an absolute roar if you jump on it.  According to my 21 year old son (who owns my previous 328i coupe), I drive it too gently, though he's  not always with me.  :-)  I let him drive it a couple of times and his face lit up as he put it through its paces in sport mode.  I probably do drive it too easy most of the time.  I don't track it, but I've certainly had some fun with it.  It is nice to know I have the power there when I want it, especially on the interstate.  Going into "M" mode is a real treat.  The car just takes off like a rocket and it pins you to the rear of the seat.  It's handling is firm, but not uncomfortable, and it takes corners with ease. Beyond its power and handling, this is simply a beautiful car with incredible lines, my favorite being the flared rocker panels.  I originally figured I'd keep it for a couple of years until I "got it out of my system".  I still haven't, and can't imagine I ever will.  I still look forward to driving this every day.  The newer M3's are admittedly even faster, but they sound like crap.  I rarely even listen to music in mine.  The sound of the S-65 engine as it goes through its paces is like a symphony to me. It now has 55,000 miles on it, and those are predominately interstate and back road miles to and from work.  I'm getting ready to retire, so the yearly mileage will be even less now.  I don't plan to sell it.  It's just too much fun to drive.   I recommend this car wholeheartedly.  As the last of the naturally aspirated M cars, is destined to be a classic and I believe it will hold its value very well.
