Used BMW convertibles for sale near Stallings, NC

There are certain things that a dealership can do to leave a lasting impression on their customers. My wife and I had such an occurrence yesterday. A very positive occurrence. We intended to purchase a new Toyota Sienna. But the key for us was my wife's ability (she is wed to a wheelchair) to actually get into the front seat passenger side since she cannot drive. No such luck. Unlike our 2020 Honda Odyssey, which is easy for her, the Sienna was unfortunately about 5 inches too tall for her to reach the seat. What made the experience so memorable for us was the combination of Mike Lasiter (salesman) and Eddie Powell (sales mgr). They tried so many different approaches including seeing if they could find a replacement seat which would allow my wife easier access. It was amazing to see these two work so hard to help a customer. Sure they wanted to sell a car. But they went way beyond that to help us. In addition, I cannot imagine a customer finding a better facility to both purchase a car and to also have it serviced. The dealership's attention to detail on customer service was amazing. They had 72 service bays, a wonderful seating area for their customers, actual food customers could purchase instead of just a vending machine and to top it off, they offered a manicure service , free of charge, to any customer waiting for their car. Try matching that at most dealers. Each employee we spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful (Yvette Pete Acree, etc). So the upshot of the visit was Eddie Powell and Mike Lasiter ended up recommending we go to Kia Union County dealership up the road and take a look at their vehicles which might fit my wife's need. So we did and ended up purchasing a new Kia minivan. And all the while I wished we could have become a customer of Scott Clark's dealership. So if you happen to be in the market for a new or used vehicle, I could not imagine a better sales and service experience or perhaps better said, a tremendous customer experience than that at Scott Clark Toyota. And no I am not a paid employee or anything like that. I am a customer who knows great customer service when he sees and experiences it.

Have owned many premium cars. This 640 is our first BMW. This vehicle is attractive, fun to drive, and well equipped. The buying experience was exceptional. Definitely would buy again.

I did careful reviews of this model as well as the 4 Series. I was really looking at the 2023 4 Series 2Dr Coupe. I decided to go with the 2024 M240I because ... 1. it's a two door. I liked what I was seeing with the professional/owner reviews for the 2023 model year. And 2. I bought this as the last new car I will buy and as a reward to myself for a life well lived and jobs well done. I got the Portimao Blue Metallic Cognac Interior. I didn't pay for the add-on's that dealers like to charge. I only paid for what I had too. Do your homework on this. Will save thousand if you do. Some emails, couple of phone calls and the deal was done. Now, down to my opinions of this car.... I didn't really think I would like the run flats ... but, not bad at all. Like any tire, depending on the road surface, they can either be loud or quite. For the most part, quite. Add to that the build quality of BMW and I have a quite riding car. When the door closes, it does it with a solid "this door is closed" sound. Only other thing I will add about the tires ... I will get a donut spare. Don't like not being without it, run flats not withstanding. The interior is very well done I think. Everything is right there for you to get to without having to stretch for it. The IDrive 8 is very easy to work once you get it sorted the way you want it. Seats are very comfortable. Heated seats warm up nicely in cold weather ... so does the steering wheel. Sound system is great. I really like the fact that BMW kept the control wheel for the IDrive 8 system and didn't go full on touch screen. Same with buttons on the steering wheel. Real buttons. Another thing that I thought I wouldn't like was the toggle for the gear selector. Not a issue at all. Given the small interior for the 2Dr Coupe, the toggle works out well. A stalk selector would have been like a black eye. Engine response when you put your foot on it is right there. I've not noticed any turbo lag at all. Maybe due to the M240I being a 6 and not a 4. Power is there when you need it. My MPG so far has been about 26.5 in town. Was over 30 mpg on the highway/interstate. Having to use premium is not a factor for me. Knew that going in before I bought the car. For the cost of this car, spend the money and use the premium grade. Visibility hasn't been an issue at all. The tech is great. Works very well and is easy to set up the way you want it. The back up sensors were at first a bit annoying, but I got used to them fairly quickly. Loving the heads up display. So far, I've got no complaints.

Absolutely first class. From the time we walked in the door friendly and very helpful. Every question was answered promptly and any request to see a vehicle was taken care of immediately. We looked at several different models. No pressure to make a decision, our salesperson understood that we needed time to decide what worked for us. It was a three day process and never did we feel hurried to choose the vehicle we wanted. Tarique our salesperson was very professional and understanding during the process. The M235i makes me feel like a very fast businessman Simple and contemporary design inside but bold sharpe lines in the exterior all that with 320+ horses the ablility to take corners at speed with full boost being available around 1800 rpm and you have yourself with a car that bmw should be very content with placing on their line up.

Staff was ready to get started when I arrived. Found the issue I asked them to evaluate and already have parts on order. Kept me informed of the process while I waited and when all work was completed, got all the paperwork ready quickly so I could be on my way. They will let me know when the parts come in and arrange the work to fit my schedule.

BMW 440i xDrive Coupe: I have owned several BMW's over the years. During my 4 years of ownership, this was the finest of them all! BMW underrates their engines, and this 440i was noticeably stronger than my previous 335i and almost no turbo lag. The transmission is flawless. The xDrive 440i is deceptively quick. Everything worked as it should, and I never had any issues. The ride is firm but not harsh, I had the adaptive suspension and when activated, it was like driving a go cart. The electronic steering was not as engaged as previous model hydraulic steering yet the low-speed steering in parking lots was much easier to maneuver, I will take the tradeoff. This vehicle has minimal sway in the corners and will go where you point it. Sometimes you don't realize how good this vehicle is till you drive a lesser vehicle (as when renting). The leather wrapped steering wheel was perfect feel and the heated steering wheel was never too hot. The seats are infinitely adjustable and supportive. The BOSE radio is very good for an OEM and has many optional tuning choices available. The HUD (Heads Up Display) is fabulous! The power, smoothness and deceptively quiet interior even at excessive speeds, this vehicle maintains its composure. This vehicle breeds confidence making it all too easy to drive fast, very fast. The back seats fold down, and I was able to put my mountain bike in the truck (with front wheel removed) so this has a large storage area. This vehicle is just the right size, I personally like the coupe better than the sedan with its sloped aerodynamic rear deck. I would highly recommend this vehicle for anyone seeking a sport coupe, this hits all the right buttons, well done BMW!

I love the M-sport package look on this car. It looks sleek and sporty. With a cold air intake this car sound beautiful. Rides great and can save a lot of gas in eco mode vs sport mode. Paddle shifters are fun and responsive.

I had my fears, but the dealership was great. They did everything they said they would. Didn't pressure me in any way. I would be happy to do business with them again. Tom especially was friendly and helpful.

4cyl turbo engine is quick and smooth. Best navigation I have seen and great console improvements . Sleek design makes the BMW the best coupe in the luxury market.

2016 BMW 228i xdrive convertible. The best part: reliability. We are approaching 94k miles and we've had no issues with this car. It feels solid, which is remarkable for a convertible. Everything works just as it should with just routine maintenance. I have only three complaints: the sport seats are my number one complaint. The seat has great lumbar support and is supportive, but the side bolsters on the seat cushion are rock hard and hurt my hips. I have to use a pad to raise myself up a little to ease the pain. The 2nd complaint, and this is worth noting, in comfort mode the throttle can be slow to react. This is so bad it got me rear ended once because the car simply did nothing for several seconds when I pressed the pedal down. Sport mode cures this. Lastly, it requires premium gas. Ford and others get similar horsepower results with regular gas, so I think BMW should be able to also.

Bought my 128i with 50,000 miles 3 years ago and it has needed very little attention. Basic maintenance and not any major problems. Had a z3 and this is every bit as fun to drive. For a 13 year old vehicle I get many people commenting on the looks and they think it is much newer. I think BMW is going to regret doing away with the inline 6 engine eventually. Super reliable engine that is only used in their upper end vehicles and the high performance M models now days. The turbocharger engines are impressive performing but you just don't get the reliability of them that are non turbo. Unless you are looking for more horsepower don't go turbocharger. They are expensive to maintain and turbos wear out premature opposed to non turbo engines. The 128i is the perfect amount of horsepower to size and weight for the majority of people. It is a shame that it was discontinued. If you find a well maintained one you can't go wrong. Ask any mechanic about turbo engine reliability and they will side with any car without a turbo!!

I live in NY and found a 1992 Cadillac brougham for sale. White with Blue Interior with Original 25K miles. I did all the paperwork within just a few days. The car finally came today. I purchased my 2017 in 2020. It’s Upgraded wheel package really does wonders for its look/stance. Not a single problem after 3 years and no records of any previous problems. Looks, drives and feels brand new. Everyone loves it. It handle’s fantastic, very smooth ride and nothing but basic maintenance (I’m a little OCD on vehicle maintenance anyway, it pays off). I don’t drive it like a 16 yr old might. I take care of it. I don’t drive it hard. The worst of these that I’ve seen are from owners that rag them out. A good inspection, up on a lift, exposes a lot. You treat it well, it will do the same for you. Before buying I did my homework with Carfax info, maintenance history, previous vehicle location, called prior servicing dealership listed on Carfax and it’s surprising what they can tell you about a car they maintained, dealership gains nothing by misguiding me bc it wasn’t being sold by them. They just confirmed the facts from their service records which was even more than Carfax had actually. Also found a BMW mechanic that I paid $100 to check it out, front to back, before buying it and he had nothing but good to say about it. He did said “I’d grab this one”. I don’t know if I will ever be able to let it go. Did have a BMW recall, went to dealership and out in 1 hour, n/c and they also did a complimentary full check up. They didn’t find anything wrong and asked if I wanted to sell it. That was a big NO. I have neighbors keeping an eye on it, waiting to hear that I’m trading it in so they can buy it. Love it.

This is my 16th BMW since 1976 and I have never been disappointed. It's the perfect car for me, as I enjoy the performance, the style, the handling and the economy. I'm very pleased with 28+ MPG overall economy in any car that is capable of this type of performance. I cannot imagine that my next car won't be another BMW.
