I have a 2010 BMW 528XI that I have had serviced at BMW Northwest since I bought it. I have always had a good experience. My advisor, Rich Knoll, keeps me very well informed as to how my repair is going. He always treats me with respect.

Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

All representatives work in that location are friendly and helpful! The representative even help me fixed a small problem with my door! Always good to go there when service is needed.

I bought a 2021 BMW X5 4.0 with the M Sports Package and this had been one of best vehicles ever owned. The reliability, comfort and curb appeal adds to it value. I traded a 2016 Lexus GX 460 for the X5 and have no regrets!

This is my 2nd BMW after keeping my previous 528 for over a dozen years ! Still going strong but had to change. After test driving a few, came back to BMW... Its like Apple, once you get an iPhone, it is hard to switch ! Bought a CPO, which gives us more time. Nice car. Good power. Have to constantly check the speedometer to ensure we stay within limits ! So silent and smooth... Love it !

I want to thank Colin K at BMW Seattle for assisting me with the 2011 Toyota Runner. I have been looking for over a year to replace my 2015. He was extremely kind hearted and welcoming, as I would hope. He explained the process and procedures of the sale, followed the safety regs, and was offering a nice warm cup of cocoa during the coldest weather. The main issue I've had with this car is learning its vast number of controls, some of which are in strange places (such as at the end of the directional signal stalk) and are not clearly marked. The gearshift, for example, is counter-intuitive, and is moved backwards to go forwards, and vice versa-unlike most cars, it doesn't really move and fit into a slot for the appropriate gear. For no fathomable reason, the rear view camera stays on when you then drive forward. The warning system, for a car crossing or a person crossing, is unreliable; for example, if you have the car in reverse, the car hasn't moved yet, but a person walks behind the car, the warning signal does not sound--it only sounds if the car is already moving in reverse (if the pedestrian was walking right behind the car, you already hit him or her). There are also other "features" that make no sense. On the other hand, the car is fun to drive, reasonably powerful, attractive (I think--my wife disagrees), comfortable (except that one feels remarkably many bumps in the road), and quiet.

The E53 X5 is based on the near legendary E39 5 series chassis. Because of this it drives and handles more like a sports car than any other SUV of its time, and more so than most current SUVs. Ours is the 3.0i, with BMW’s awesome straight six, which will run forever if not neglected. We’ve had no major trouble with it at all, and really no minor trouble either. Regular maintenance, and now that it has over 100,000 miles on it, suspension bushings and things like that. It’s been properly maintained so its reliability has been pretty bulletproof. The styling is still very good even at its age, and the interior is still one of the nicer designs and more comfortable interiors that you’ll find in an SUV. Highly recommended as a used SUV, but find one that was well-maintained to avoid issues that any neglected car can have.

I was given a 2007 BMW x3 3.0si 6mt about a year ago. It was given to me with a blown power steering line after a local shop had destroyed the rack trying to remove it. After about $1000 in parts to get the steering rack fixed (kind of complicated component in the 6mt as it’s different than the others), this is easily one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. I liked this truck so much that I made it full bolt on within a month of driving it and have enjoyed every moment. As per all BMWs, I recommend you do all the preventive maintenance before you buy, but at 120k miles I can say it’s been a blast! I totally get what BMW was going for I this thing and it’s been a pleasure. Highly recommend the 6mt E83

Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

I have purchased and leased several cars From both Alfa Romeo of Seattle, and Maserati of Seattle for nearly 20 years. I would b never consider purchasing from any other dealer in the area or venture out of state to make another purchase. The company is run truly family owned and operated, a rarity in today's business climate. Kudos to them all!

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

Today 6/25/17 My wife & I purchased a car from these guys. I love the car and at the same time I can't help to hate it. What I love about the car would be the luxurious interior, comfortable and quiet cabin, smooth ride, ease of access, and a few extra features that were put in as an add-on. What I don't like about this car would be the poor fuel economy for the 30i model, especially when compared to the B-58 engine. Apple carplay connection issues, no option for remote start unless I want to void warranty, and no option for the iDrive Recorder App. Exterior Styling - 8.5/10 Interior Styling - 9/10 Comfort - 9.5/10 Cargo space - 8.5/10 Driving smoothness - 9.5/10 Horsepower - 7/10 Fuel Economy - 3/10 It's been an overall fun car to get around in. It's easy to get in and out of, smooth on bumpy roads, and it is quiet. The fact that only 2022 models and newer offer remote start and iDrive recorder is a big disappointment. But I think my biggest disappointment would be the fuel economy. As I had the B-58 in the past and averaged out 11.5L/100km and in this X3 am averaging 13.5/100km which was worse than my pick up truck. I might not keep this car for long-term just because of how poor the fuel economy is.

Everyone was very nice and I would have gave them a 5 stars. Their truck was missing the Stock Rear view mirror at the time of the test drive they said they had ordered it. I signed all the paperwork for just the truck came back the next day to pick it up and it had a Small generic rear view mirror in its place. And it took over a month to get the plates. Still waiting for the title And I paid cash.

Its so comfortable, fast, sport, low mileage, so clean . It is 2013 with 67k mileage, honestly so clean look like new car .new tire and full service

Purchased 2 years ago. Drives like a rocketship. handles extremely well. no issues thus far, just regular maintenance. Interior is very well designed and very comfortable. The caro area is well designed as well.

So fun to drive, quick acceleration, has enough room for all your stuff, looks great, gets great gas mileage. Very comfortable for long trips too. Can't go wrong with this car.

We take trips to Cashiers/Highlands NC frequently. The drive is just over 5 hrs an it flies by quickly as the car is so comfortable. The peppy V8 has lots of power to pass quickly on the highway when necessary. Once we get into the mountains it feels great to switch from Eco mode to sports mode to attack those tight turns :)

This is the most underrated gems in the used diesel SUV market—but only if you’re the right kind of owner. Powered by the soon becoming legendary M57 inline-six diesel engine, this version of the E70 X5 combines German engineering with long-haul durability if treated right….and by treated right, I mean ideally maintained by someone who can turn a wrench and not the type of owner who wants to drop it off at the dealership for every noise or light. This vehicle is ideal for the hands-on car enthusiast who appreciates the mechanical integrity of a proper diesel engine and doesn’t mind putting in garage time to keep it in good shape. If you're someone who already loves BMWs and understands their quirks, this vehicle will feel like a rewarding project and a fantastic daily driver in one package. The M57 diesel engine is incredibly robust and becomes one of the best engines only with one huge caveat…the emissions equipment needs to be removed. In fact, I would not recommend owning this vehicle if you don’t plan or cannot do this in your state legally. Once deleted, this engine opens up and delivers a strong blend of torque, horse power and efficiency, making it an excellent tow vehicle. It's perfect for hauling a car trailer, camper, or family gear around without struggle. Stock, it’s already torquey, but with the deletes and a mild tune, this becomes a real beast without sacrificing reliability...and if given a race tune, this thing will hurt other drivers' feelings pulling from stop lights or on the freeway. The chassis overall is “decent” (Being said by a vintage BMW enthusiast, this is very much a compliment to today’s standards), but there are known maintenance pain points that a mechanically inclined owner should be aware of. If you plan to purchase from a used dealership or private seller, you’ll most likely need to do a suspension refresh including replacement of struts, bushings, arms etc.…possibly an engine refresh including valve cover seals, intake manifold cleaning and replacement of other various leaky seals…work on the cooling system including but not limited to replacing lines, hoses, main/expansion coolant tank as these are plastic and will crack and fail due to heat over time. There will be some normal interior wear including the finishes of center console buttons peeling off but are easily replaceable. Something important to note when purchasing is the interior sunroof shade condition, including whether it is completely operable and if there are any signs of sagging/peeling fabric. Any issue with the sunroof should reflect in the price as this item is very intricate, expensive, and difficult to work on. These aren’t dealbreakers though...just things to note when looking to purchase and if they’ve been covered in recent maintenance...if they haven't, plan for work that will inevitably need to be done. Again, don’t expect it to be hands-off, you’ve got to earn this one…But if you're up for the task, you’ll be rewarded with one of BMW’s most versatile platforms.

Yesterday, I picked up my new 2026 X5 from BMW Northwest. Alan Sluka was the service advisor and he has done great job to negotiate on my behalf and deliver as we agreed promised. This was one of the easiest car purchases I made. Thank you Alan for the great job!

1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

My annual BMW service required an unexpected overnight stay. I live a distance from the dealership and my advisor, Rich Knoll, arranged for a Lyft home and a Lyft back the next morning. The car was serviced and picked up with a minimum of fuss and bother. Great job by Rich and BMW Northwest.
