The car is quiet, acceleration is acceptable considering the 3 cylinder turbo charged engine. There’s enough room I the back seat for 3 adults. Rear storage is adequate. Interior controls are laid out well and the seat material is easy to clean.

I purchased this car as a daily driver to keep highway miles off of my really nice vehicles (Escalade and Corvette), and to haul around our 100 LB Doberman. I have been amazed at the performance of this car with its 1.3 Liter turbo. Mine is the Encore GX ST model, which includes some convenience features you don't expect in a bare bones commuter. AWD, Automatic headlights and dimmers, heated seats, among others. no matter how hard I drive it, I get 30 MPG average, and can get more on a trip. About to turn 50k miles without a problem. Original tires are still in great shape! I will buy another one if and when this one ever wears out.

I bought this used with 26,000 miles in the spring of 2024. I love the styling, interior, and value. My only complaint is that the angle of the infotainment display can make it difficult to see due to reflections, especially in bright sunlight. I love the AWD option, it adds to stability - even in dry conditions. The remote start is handy in cold weather since I now live in an apartment and no longer have a garage. Performance with the optional engine is more than adequate.

Okay a 1.3 L with turbo doesn't sound impressive, but it got me up to highway speed just fine and scored 30 MPG the whole way. Just the wife and me...having kids along would make it too cramped, but for us the compact but well appointed cabin was comfortable and the entertainment options plentiful. 2.5 years ago I hit a deer. With no headlight, they worked me in and took excellent care of getting my truck repaired and back to me. Recently my A/C stopped working. The condenser had failed. The condenser sits next to the radiator and had been replaced during the repair. They again replaced it at no cost to me, way past the one year mark. I am impressed with their integrity.

I have one negative with the Encore -- I'm 6'-1" and the Encore is small for me. Some call the cabin "surprisingly roomy" for a sub-compact suv. Truth be said IT'S JUST SMALL. Had bought the 2021 Buick encore gx AWD brand and up to this point I've had 0 problems with the car. Handles great and get pretty much get in to any tight spot that bigger vehicles would have a hard time on doing.. Great on gas I save tons of money on gas alone so that by it's self is a huge plus.! I'm a big person being 6'3 and I have no problems sitting comfortably in the drivers set - of course my set has to be all the way back so can't have anyone sitting behind me unless they wanna get squashed.!! Sharp little car that performs pretty great and being from WI it actually drives pretty great on bad winter roads with the AWD on.. My overall view of this car since I bought it new is that it's an excellent car that most definitely can be trusted very reliable and once again you can pretty much fit into any small space and making tight u turns is a breeze for this car..!! Perfect car for City driving I'm happy I went with this car. Being a bigger person and being 6'3 I was pretty surprised at how comfortable I was driving this small compact SUV...

Yes and no if you're short and try to get out of the car your leg hits a little piece of molding that is below the door so if you're 5'1 you got bruises on the back of your leg also there's a little trim piece underneath the hood so if you're going to be Stones it's going to damage that trim piece all the time you have to take the whole thing off to paint it is very hard to reach the handle on the passenger seat is way back we had a Buick before was much more comfortable 2014 encore convenience I am not near a satisfied with this one as I was the other one

The only reason I gave the interior a 4 is for the icons on the informations screen for Music, information and home, etc. are very dim and hard to see, especially during the day. After a while you know where they are and can just touch the area to get to what you want.
