2006 Buick Lucerne review
I've got a 2006 lucerne cxs. Bought it with 20,000 miles on it in 2006. It now has 216,000 on it. Replaced all shocks [sport suspension]at 160,000 replaced alternator at 190,000 and water pump at 180,000. All where replaced before going out . Best car I've ever had and it drives and rides like new. With 30 mpg on hwy.

2006 Buick Lucerne review
Not entirely sure if we are differentiating between the CXL,CXS, or other models. But I have a Buick Lucerne CXL V8 with a north star engine. I’ve put over 207,000 miles on it and the only major repairs I’ve had to do, is a timing re adjustment, and a suspension rebuild. Granted I live in an area with tons of potholes and I’m sure that had a major factor in it. Either way this is currently the most reliable vehicle I’ve got and have ever had. No engine rebuilds, no major body problems, except for rust in some weird places. I’ve got no underbody rust, but I’ve got some rust in the middle of the 2 drive side doors. Plenty of boot space. And plenty or legroom.

2009 Buick Lucerne review
This Lucerne is my second. I LOVE that car! Drives great, handles well in the snow, has always been reliable! 245k miles later...I still love her! I did buy a new car because I drive a lot.... I went with a jeep Cherokee only because buick doesn't make sedans anymore and the enclave which i loved... is too much car for me and my dog.

Smoky Jennings in Palmyra has phenomenal customer service. I went in for an oil change and was told the 4th oil change was free. I was shocked but pleased and when they brought my car around it had just been washed. Wow-I was impressed with their customer service. They continually exceed my expectations!!! Amazing employees and service!!!! As a side note, the woman I met while waiting was from Godfrey which is approximately 50 minutes away and she ALWAYS comes to Smoky Jennings because of the great service!!! 2006 Buick Lucerne review
Incredibly reliable. Even the Northstar motor for these were good. Most comfortable car I've ever driven, and I can't wait to buy another. Bumps aren't noticeable and standard options are fantastic, and it's a completely bulletproof car. A real tank, too. Got in an accident and he totalled his car. The Buick didn't even have a dent!
