I special ordered (new) for my wife our 2007 Buick LuCerne CXL in 2007 when they came out. It is the first Buick we ever owned so I did not know what to expect.
Fast forward 12 years of ownership and it is still running strong and quiet. This car has exceeded all my expectations and is a sheer pleasure to own.
It is still mechanically sound, smooth, tight and still serves us well with comfort. No engine or mechanical problems since we bought it . What repair costs that we did incur were the results on normal wear and tear and timely LOF changes.
I'm quite sure that sensible driving habits, the conscientious maintenance care as suggested by GM's schedules I give it plus detailing (interior/exterior 2 to 3 times a year) and frequent car washing has a great deal to do with its current excellent condition; a condition that still gets compliments from passersby.
This LuCerne started my love for Buick and was a major reason in my decision to purchase my new Buick Lacrosse in 2014 whose intrinsic quality is also sealing my loyalty to the Buick brand.
My wife, who is not a car person by any stretch of the imagination, absolutely loves her LuCerne and has every intent to keep her car as long as possible. From the way it runs and looks, that, hopeful, will be a long while more.
Based on my/our experiences with Buick I would unhesitantly recommend (and have) Buick to anyone who wants a quality, dependable and reliable car that offers quality service with a feeling of ownership confidence and a taste of sensible luxury.
The dealers are great , nice , clean and fresh cars , a positive and professional attitude. Awesome prices for cars. I would recommend Active Autos a 6 star view .
Large roomy car with a few drawbacks.

I really liked my Lucerne at first.Now I am experiencing some interior door handle issues. (apparently common). Also why are the headlight bulbs so hard to change?
Pros: trunk room, leg room, smooth ride, and electronic settings option.
Cons: broken interior door handle, broken lane departure system and headlight bulbs are difficult to change.
I have to say that this has been the best car buying experience ever! I went in and my sales consultant, Nakia Scott, was very friendly and patient. Even before I got there, she was very helpful over the phone. The car selection was just great. The quality of cars there is unbeatable. Every car has a perfect Carfax as well. The entire process from walking in to driving out was less than 2 hours and I left with a better finance deal than I had when I walked in. The car is excellent and they warranty is the best. Oh and I got my registration transferred and it's only been a week and a half and I already received my updated one in the mail. I have no complaints. Extra set of keys, full tank of gas, great warranty and a like new car. Love this place!!!

This was is a piece of crap. When I first got it, the lights flickered. The "company mechanic" tightened the battery cables and said I was good. For a while, I was. The car started security locking itself down and wouldn't start. The speakers would go in and out when; the radio worked. Finally, the warranty co. authorized a trip to a dealership. The car had major electrical and transmission problems. The electrical problems were not covered in my warrant so I called the lot and told them yo pick their up from the dealership. I forgot to mention I'd only had it 4 months and it had been to Midas twice. 1st bill, $988. 2nd bill, $643.

This is my third Lucerne. Made the mistake of going to a Verano for 3 years (still a decent LITTLE car) after my second. Switched back to a Lucerne, and I am delighted! 2009 CXL. Best car ever! Named it Octavia since I bought it in October.
I recommend Arrow Motors because they are the best car dealership in Philly! Marc was very friendly and courteous. Marc and Mike helped me find the car of my dreams. Marc was knowledgeable about different cars. They even gave me new tires and a gas grill!

This is a smooth ride no matter if your going for a short trip down the street or a long ride out of town, it's roomy in the front and back and the heater is amazing. From freezing to toasty warm in less than 5 minutes, your going to love getting in this when the temperature drops outside. . It has a very sophisticatedengine, that will tell you whenever it needs anything, and even the windshield wipers don't need you to control them, they come on, speed up and slow down all on thier own, keeping your windshield clear perfectly.
I appreciate the service you everyone is so friendly They are willing to help you out the best that they can. From the moment I walked in the Door I was greeted with a smile by Eve. I definitely will let people know about this place.

This car has a 50/50 like,hate for me. Poor gas mileage,visibility,ride,mixed squeaks and rattles.Engine is peppy,driver seat memory,heated steering wheel, and a few other accessories are nice.
i was searching on line for a specific car. Unfortunately this dealer did not have what I was looking for but promised to alert me when they got one in. They were very prompt to respond and I appreciate that. Anita Rosinola

Great Family car with a get up and go engine, has all the options anyone needs! It is fully loaded, looks great washed and cleaned
Easier than a Cadillac to repair. Has American real car feel. Its big as a car, and luxury inside. I wish Gm wouldnt stop making a larger "Buick car" Its a HIghway star and nice enough for a formal meeting.

Very reliable, safe family car

I use this car in between leases because I put too many miles on my leased car. This car is very heavy and I feel very safe driving it. A little bit on the larger side from what I am used to but a great car overall. The turning radius is quite large and it takes a bit more to stop it than my little Mazda so that is something to keep in mind when purchasing. YouTube blind spots that I was not comfortable with, I upgraded my radio system to have a backup camera and Bluetooth. The sound is top-notch with the stock Harman Kardon speakers. That is one huge thing that I miss when moving on to the new lease. The features for this 2006 model had more than my 2014 car. I'd highly recommend this car for reliability, safety and comfort.
Although I did not purchase a vehicle there they responded very quickly to my inquiry. They were very helpful but not pushy which is exactly how I like it. I would definitely recommend them to other customers.

It runs and drives like a dream. I purchased car with low miles. I love and drive everywhere. I will be traveling across the state soon.
The most impressive thing about the whole process was that they listened to me and tailored a deal to my unique needs. Bill Z was great for addressing my questions about the car and T.J. walked me through the whole process, once we agreed to terms. I would definitely come back.

6 engine oil leaks, broken motor mount, loose body side molding, poor accelerator response, poor air conditioner, unsafe too slow windshield wipers, ignition key problem, reprogram engine computer, tires were much older than the factory manuf. date. All of this from day one. Dealer tried hard but the design issues were unsurmountable. I will never buy another GM vehicle.
I bought my new 2018 Ford Expedition from Chapman Ford and would do it again in a heart beat when time comes. They handled the process very efficiently and made my experience easy. I’ve also gotten repairs done there and would highly recommend
Great Ride for a family

This Lucerne CXL with 152.000 trouble free miles is a plush ride with plenty of power and all of the comforts of a luxury vehicle. My wife loves her Lucerne and has had it for 8 years and the only reason we are selling it is because we purchased another Lucerne CXL with 29,000 miles on it so that we can have one for years to come. The body has held up very well and the 3800 engine is the most dependable one that GM has ever built.
Heather and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I really appreciate all the guidance and support! Heather gets an A+ from me! She was awesome!
