Recently bought a car from Johnson Subaru and I’ve gotta say — if all dealerships operated like this, there’d be far fewer angry Facebook rants in the world. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly without being pushy. No vultures circling. No “Let me check with my manager” theatrics. Just smooth, straightforward service and people who actually listen to what you want (a rare skill, apparently). They answered every question I had, didn’t try to upsell me on things I don’t need, and even managed to make the paperwork process feel… dare I say… painless? I was in and out so fast I almost wondered if I’d accidentally bought a scooter instead of a car. Drove off the lot feeling confident, not confused — which is exactly how it should be. If you’re shopping around, I’d absolutely recommend giving Johnson Subaru a shot. They made the whole experience easy, honest, and even a little enjoyable. (Yes, enjoyable. I’m as shocked as you are.) Would definitely buy here again — though hopefully not too soon, because I’d like to actually enjoy this car for a bit before they tempt me with another good deal.

This is my 3rd Buick. Loved my LaCrosse and just now upgraded to the Invision Avenir. Very satisfied with the look and upgraded options. Performance is a bit less than my LaCrosse with the V6 but adequate.

Thaddeus was wonderful! He kept us informed on everything that was going on with our car and thoroughly explained it all. He even answered questions I had about our car not related to the service being done. His demeanor was kind and happy through the whole process. This vehicle is so beautiful, the space is perfect. The modifications in the car are amazing. The vehicle drives very smoothly, perfect to take on a road trip.

I unexpectedly wound up leasing a 2022 Buick Encore GX. I have been very happy with all of the features and performance of the vehicle. It is peppy, handles great and is quite comfortable. A small step down in size from a Chevy Equinox and it has worked out extremely well.

I have purchased many cars in my 69 years, each time building more skepticism of the process(es); subsequently I loathed the entire experience: BUT, that all changed in working with Antoinette and her entire team of sales/support/finance folks in the previously owned car section of Mark Jacobson Toyota. Great low mileage used basic LE Camry competively priced, professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff willing to make the deal work best for ME! Working on 2 years now with my new Buick, looking at this vehicle from the outside you really feel like you’re looking at an expensive car, the inside of the car is nicely done for the price point. First model year for the Envista. You have to expect some issues., I had my car in twice to have the radio reprogrammed or updated whichever you wanna call it. I’ve had the sunroof motor replaced as that has worn out. I haven’t had any other issues with the vehicle, the ride is great. It’s fairly quiet, it gets great gas mileage and it totally suits my need as far as space , comfort, and appearance. There are just a couple of things that I would change about this vehicle if I could. First, I would upgrade the sound system to something better, the sound system is pretty good but I bought the Avenir and one would think that model should’ve had a premium sound system. Express up windows could’ve been added, not just expressed down. The car could’ve used some additional sound deadening material. Buick are known for being quiet vehicles, I think the additional sound deadening and also maybe an 18 inch wheel in the satin nickel finish would’ve been nice. I have the 19 inch wheels and I think the 18 inch would’ve given it a better ride but it’s still pretty decent. The car is quiet however it is not that Buick quiet that I’ve had before in other Buicks. Would I buy this car again, probably not but not because there’s anything wrong with it, just because I would probably want to change. I’m at retirement age so I did buy this vehicle knowing I’m going to keep it probably as my last vehicle. Is it a nice vehicle absolutely, is it worth the money? Absolutely, should you buy one of these that’s entirely up to you after a test driving it, but I don’t think you would be disappointed as long as you understand what you’re paying for. You are not spending 40 to 50,000 on a vehicle buying this car and you’re getting something that looks definitely like it could be worth 40,000.

They were amazing to deal with. I live over 130 miles away. When we arrived the salesmen was waiting for us. The show room was spotless. He got the keys and showed 4 cars that fit what I was looking for. I bought one of them. I asked howl I could get it home he said they deliver Great service!

Very good vehicle. Not that great on gas, but ok for all wheel drive. Lots of room up front, really like the the all wheel drive.

I bought this used with 26,000 miles in the spring of 2024. I love the styling, interior, and value. My only complaint is that the angle of the infotainment display can make it difficult to see due to reflections, especially in bright sunlight. I love the AWD option, it adds to stability - even in dry conditions. The remote start is handy in cold weather since I now live in an apartment and no longer have a garage. Performance with the optional engine is more than adequate.

Comfortable and so very pretty!! I put on many miles a day and the gas mileage has been great. This was a great decision on a great car.

Whoever designed my 2919 Buick Encore was the best of the best. My wife and I love this car so much. I’v had a lot of cars over the years this one is the best. It is a great car and I love driving it.

My service consultant is Michael, so Mike “check engine light on “ checks as “Catalytic converter malfunction “ can you check Proguard Warranty “ if covered to replace/repair ? Tank ya suh, Melvyn Jordan. Also the switch/ motor or window is covered by warranty and need to be fixed.

The reason why I am writing this is because I know the mileage is off because there is no way I can drive 100 miles in the city in one day it's not possible. This is a complaint for me because I feel it needs to be looked at.

I have not had any problems with my Encore. I drove it to Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Kentucky and Arkansas and have not had any problems with it at all. I have had the standard maintenance on it, Radiator Flush, Oil changes and put a new battery on it in 2022. The battery it came with lasted 6 years, can't complain about that. And I just put a set of tires on it too. I am very happy with this model and would recomend it anyone looking for a GREAT SUV.

This car is perfect for road trips. It gets great gas mileage and is extremely comfortable. It's so much fun to drive we just want to keep going!!!!

I have to say, this was the most pleasant buying experience I've ever had. Sales people were extreemly knowledgable, cheerful, and not pushy. Maybe even more impressive were the mechanics- probably the most experienced mechanics I've ever delt with- and in 40 years of driving and working on cars, that's saying something. Where else can you go and try out a dozen cars from as many different companies, all in one place.

What a superb automobile. This is what I have wanted in a long time. It has more bells and whistles than I really need but it is very nice to have them. Everything I marked above is definitely true and more. I would highly recommend this auto to everyone interested in buying one. Believe the right ups on this auto that others have also made.

Purchased pre owned with 56k miles. Everything seems to be great thus far. The only thing is I’m not sure the AC actually works as I normally keep it set to the “Auto” function. And when the temperature got up a little warmer than normal it didn’t seem to make the adjustment.

The car is quiet, acceleration is acceptable considering the 3 cylinder turbo charged engine. There’s enough room I the back seat for 3 adults. Rear storage is adequate. Interior controls are laid out well and the seat material is easy to clean.

Taylor Lynch made my wife me feel comfortable when searching for a good used Honda. He did not attack us like wolves do in the brand name dealerships . I have had no real problems, except maybe the cheap tires they put on when its new. 23,000 miles and down to the wear bar. Sometime the info screen is frustrating to get the right pressure to find songs with the music channel I have. I do worry about the short warranty. 3 yrs 20,000 miles which is over. I cant believe that I overlooked that. I worked at GM for 8 yrs so I got the discount and that was why I bought it. If I had to do over I would by one of those Asian cars with 10 yr 100,000 mile warranty. Though I have had no problems so far. I only put about 7500 miles a yr on my car. I have 23500 now.

As over many years Buick is in the background, however I have owned both, and the Buick outshine the Cadillac ever year. If you want to impress other 's and spend money go with the Cadillac if you want to enjoy your car buy the Buick. That said start looking at the envision on up

The first time I bought a car (not from CarMax) it was a terrible experience and I was stuck with a hunk of junk that was worth far less than what I owed. For the money you can't do much better. Quiet, sleek and has lots of options available. Has plenty of room and storage for this class of car. Love the AWD version as I live in a part of the country that gets a fair amount of snow.

(Thanks to you, Lesly.) Moreover, I found scheduling of a meeting to finish the deal at the dealership efficient. Once at the dealership, Haseam did well in helping us -- his knowledge and friendliness were impressive, especially since I havevworked in the service industry for many years . Because he did not try to upsell us, but rather did his best to educate us on what would work well, (coming in on his day-off to finalize the deal), I must commend Carmax and its associates for providing a memorable experience. Also, I was thankful that Dashau helped expedite the process when we completed the paperwork; what a breeze! I have driven my 2025 Buick Enclave Sport Touring almost 9k miles and I am beyond happy with the car. The car is very smooth, comfortable, beautiful and economical. I do both city and freeway driving and so far, my MPG average is over 29 miles, getting about 580+ miles to a tank of gas! My 2025 Enclave drives so much better than the SUV I used to drive that had a V-6 engine and gets over 10 miles more per gallon of gas, on average. I have more than enough room when transporting family members and/or my (3) dogs. Everyone enjoys being a passenger in my Enclave.
