Purchased pre owned with 56k miles. Everything seems to be great thus far. The only thing is I’m not sure the AC actually works as I normally keep it set to the “Auto” function. And when the temperature got up a little warmer than normal it didn’t seem to make the adjustment.

I bought my 2020 Enclave new and have been totally pleased. It rides better gets better mpg smoother more quiet and a much better ‘road car’ than the compatible Mercedes and BMW company cars I’ve driven. The tranny seems to be in the best gear more often without the annoying hard downshifts. The only option I wish Buick would offer is a third seat delete… I very seldom use the 3rd seats. It would be nice if they were removable like my Rendezvous seats which offered much more cargo space without them. The excellent road manners and smooth quiet ride shortens my 450 mile trip to my daughter’s house…. And I made it there without stopping for gas! 16.3 gal to go 451 miles… on a 310hp engine. I always liked my Chevy Caprices… but this Enclave is actually better and no problems just like the Caprices.

For a car made in China, with their reputation for putting out shoddy products and looking at their buildings and roads that's falling apart as we speak, I was totally surprised at the quality built into this car, not knowing at the time of purchase that it was made over there, which would have made me pass on buying it. But we are talking GM here, that built the plant in Shanghai, who took every part over there just to use their labor only to assemble it, and they did an excellent job. I figure that GM pays them better than all other jobs in that country and they don' t want to lose that job, so they do the best that they can when putting it together. We are at 105,000 miles now, and did all the oil changes and did go through the hundred thousand mile checkup and all fluids changed, and it has yet to have anything to go wrong with it except for changing out the 5 year gel filled very expensive battery *at 5 years on the dot, and the second set of tires. Even still has the original front pads on the brakes, but due to my real easy driving and feathering them coming up to stop lights, trying not to let the stop/start system engage at full stop, and have been doing an excellent job in timing lights and breaking one law by doing 'rolling stops' at stop signs with no cross traffic in sight. I'm a person that drives a vehicle until it rots down, like I did my '84 Toyota diesel pickup that I put over 800K on it until finally the box frame under it rusted in two, forcing me to park it forever, with the engine still running in it. And with this car I'm shooting for the same mileage before it falls apart just from so many miles on the body.

Comfortable, well powered, quiet, Bose system excellent, interior attractive, exterior has style. The rear window is low so it is difficult to use rear view mirror. Front pillars are wide and obstruct view to the left. Trunk is spacious.

I know that here in Northern California, Buick isn't a very popular brand, but that means I was able to get a stunningly good deal on my new '23. I traded up from a low mileage '18 Buick Encore (not GX), and at the time of the transaction, it had a remarkable trade value. My dealer did a outstanding job on pre-sale prep and delivery. My sales rep answered my every question. I enjoyed the prior vehicle, and feel this new one will give me the same kind of driving experience. My added safety feature is the front accident/pedestrian avoidance and lane keep assist. I haven't had to use either yet, but feel good about having them aboard. This Buick strikes me as a hidden gem, full featured but still available at a price point that blows the other comparable Asian built imports out of the water.

The reason why I am writing this is because I know the mileage is off because there is no way I can drive 100 miles in the city in one day it's not possible. This is a complaint for me because I feel it needs to be looked at.

The only reason I gave the interior a 4 is for the icons on the informations screen for Music, information and home, etc. are very dim and hard to see, especially during the day. After a while you know where they are and can just touch the area to get to what you want.

Being 65...using the Mybuick App to use the phone is way more challenging than I would like!! I'm not tech savvy and STILL can't figure how to get my phone calls to be heard in the cars audio! I think it's a "me problem" but wish it was as simple as linking the Android app and Mybuick app.

Managers Miguel and Guillermo helped get me the most out of my finance goals. The finance manager Adriana I didn’t not expect to see until the very end. I spoke to at the beginning and she gave me the complete OTD price breakdown at the beginning which was the same when I arrived which was the same at the end. No hidden or surprise add ons or mark ups. They are all stand up individuals. Worked with 10-20 people in past few weeks at other deals, had bad experience with most of them. My wife and I are very pleased with our 2024 Encore GX purchased used w/ only 2500 mi on the clock. The Encore GX is one of the current Buick lineup of 3 small SUVs for about $25k; I suspect these hidden gems are unknown to many Americans. Unfortunately Buick's focus on China has resulted in the Buick brand being all but forgotten in the US. The NHTSA has given a ***** Overall Safety Rating to the 2024 GX. I have one negative with the Encore -- I'm 6'-1" and the Encore is small for me. Some call the cabin "surprisingly roomy" for a sub-compact suv. Truth be said IT'S JUST SMALL. Likes * 1.2L Turbo engine surprisingly strong in city driving * Entry-level luxury at a moderate price * Fun to drive (some call it boring) * Lots and lots and ... of safety features * Excellent mileage (30+ mpg) for an ICE SUV * Sits up high (as a SUV should!) due to 18" wheels * Quiet cabin due to Buick's QuietTuning technology * Heated seats, steering wheel, outside mirrors * Physical buttons/knobs for radio, climate controls -great * Power hatch/liftgate w/ kick plate - very handy * Traction & Stability control Dislikes * 1.2L Turbo engine is somewhat challenged on the highway * Design same-same as every other small SUV on the road * Digital Speedo and NO Tach; I prefer the real thing * Seats are narrow, hard and uncomfortable on long trips * Road noise is worse than expected for a Buick * Small cargo area w/o rear seat backs down * Insufficient legroom in back seats * Insufficient rear headroom for tall persons * AM/FM/Satellite radio difficult to program * VERY sensitive brakes and accelerator

Cons: Car needs to be prep for sale, deep cleaning or at least check it out for anything leftover from previous owner. But Valerie offer me reimbursement for detailing my car. Most of all if you don't like your car for any reason return policy excellent with out any hidden fees, check with your salesperson for details. I would recommend Carmax to my friends .
