3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

I have been taking my car to Audi Naples dealership for years and to date I have only to say that Andrew Sanchez is the best and most knowledgable person I have met there who knows my car better tan I do. I never question his advice because he?s always correct and above all, he?s trustworthy, friendly and reliable to have your car completed on time or per request.

Road noise is loud, Water leak in front passenger side during heavy rain or car wash. Engine noise that the tech can’t locate. The XT 5 is a very nice size SUV. For a high end vehicle the warranty should be better in length and milage..

Got a 2023 identical to this 3 weeks ago. Bought it for retirement road travel. Have had 2 SRXs before. Traded in a sweet 2016 ATS Performance coupe reluctantly. No regrets. Electronics are outstanding. Handles better than the SRX. As peppy and nimble as the ATS. Always GM, never disappointed. Value, comfort, performance.

Service Advisor Haley is awesome. Attentive, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. In and out within two hours for new tires, balance, oil change, etc. Great price!

The XT5 was well maintained, inside and out. The ride is smooth. Up-to-date technology. I rode 324 mile road trip was with no problems. My family was impressed with the ride, interior and technology.

This service was my first one since buying my Tucson in Ct. I recently moved to Fort Myers. The service advisor (David Sanchez) was very patient, courteous and he answered all my questions.The service was fast, and considering I took it at 4:15pm. Everything was explained to me and I was out in 45min.

I had just got this car and it's been to the shop twice, first 2 days I had it I loved it, the performance is great and the interior is amazing! I have the sport utility model and I love all the features and the sound of the xt5!! Over the week my power liftgate stopped working/ would only work at certain times, my check engine light came on reading codes about the camshaft and coolant temp not being high enough. I'm not sure what's going on, this might just be a me problem but over all very nice car, just alot of bells and whistles and specific dealerships to go through if it ever needs repairs.

This is my second XT5. Had a 2017 and never had a problem. Just got my 2023 XT5 Sport, and wow, maybe too much power for a senior citizen, but I love it. A few changes from the 2017, but love the car. I put other vehicles like the Jeep or GMC as beasts, my XT5 is more like a cat, still get where I want to be with luxury.

This is the 3rd XT5 I have had and I think it is a great car for the money. perfect size with enough room for most everything you would need for trips or just around town.

Good interior quality, beefy, spacious and well built. Predictable handling in all weather and road conditions. Not so comfy but your ride is always safe. Regular maintenance is not so expensive.

I had a great experience with Christian Miller helping me find my RAV4. He had so much patience working with me. I was not sure what kind of vehicle I wanted but I knew the features I wanted. Just bought a new car today at Car Max, and actually traded in my car that I previously bought from Car Max 2 years ago. I worked with Nick, who was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! I had talked to him yesterday while getting my car appraised and when we tried to set an appointment for me to come back to look at a car, we realized we worked almost the exact same hours. Nick so kindly offered to stay late so I could come at a time convenient to me. He did everything he could to make my experience as great as it could be, and he truly did an awesome job! He even ended up staying 3 hours after his shift was supposed to end, but he was so cheerful, you never would have known! Anyone looking for a car, definitely see Nick @ Car Max! He's not "just another car salesman" .. he's honest and helpful and gives great customer service!

This is the 2nd XT5 that we have owed. Our 2021 is a good improvement over our 2017. They have changed some things that I did not like from previous years. Overall great value!

On August 03, 2025 I submitted an email inquiry to Volvo Cars Fort Myers as to the availability of a 2025 XC40 with 5912 miles listed for sale. I bought a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup from Stearns. When I saw the vehicle on Cars.com, the price looked good and the pics looked good, so I went over to check it out in person. When I test drove it, I found some issues; a couple of which I knew would be pretty expensive to repair. So, assuming that's why the price was so good, I told the salesman, Hector, that I liked the truck, but that there were some issues that needed resolving. Hector discussed the issues with Rod, the General Manager. I fully expected Rod to say "the reason it's priced this way is because of those issues, we're selling it 'as is'". Instead, Rod said "Let me see what I can do". When he came back, he said he would fix all the issues if I would buy the truck for basically the asking price (actually, a little less!). Given that price, I felt that was a VERY fair deal, but I reserved the right to test the truck afterwards to make sure everything was fixed. When Hector called me to say it was ready (a quick turnaround, too!), I checked it out and found everything to be fixed to my complete satisfaction. What more could I ask? I got a great price on a great vehicle! I am very impressed with the "no-bull, let's just make this work" attitude and the overall integrity of the sales staff there. I definitely recommend visiting Stearns if you are in the market for a pre-owned vehicle!!!

Comfort in a car is important Smooth driving and pushes power whenever you accelerate. Love it but not the brake recall. My dog looks forward to car rides. She (dog) feels like royalty when she rolls in mama's lac.

We love our XT5, it drives great and looks great. The only thing is the navigation. You have to plug in your cell phone to get it.
