I saw one and fell in love. I didn't know what it was. I looked at and drove a few and bought 09 XLR-Platinum. Take your time and find the right one it's worth the wait.

2006 Cadillac XLR review
I have owned two xlr' s to date and now planning on moving up to the V. Procrastinated several years considering the cost of the higher-octane fuel required by the V. Retired now so don't plan to drive so much, I am going to keep the 2007 limited edition base (250 made) I have now so I can still ride in stile on regular gas. The 2007 has 63K on it I have put brake pads on the front and replaced the AC compressor. You would do that with any car. The top is an engineering marvel. Everyone who has commented on the car thought it was new, OK, maybe not everyone, there are a few who know the car, all are envious. Such a hoot coming out of a store knowing you get to drive off in the best-looking car in the whole parking lot. Fun to drive is a gross understatement. For me, there was no need to put the super charger on this car. At a buck thirty, I got scared of what would happen if I hit a deer, it was still climbing when I backed out of it. I also have the 2002 red with black interior Eldo.

My experience at Lot#1 Robinson location of #1 Cochran was simple and quick. I walked the oot for about 5 minutes before I was approached by a Salesperson. This afforded me an opportunity to examine the 2 vehicles that I was interested in without any pressure or interference! The Salesperson was complimentary and almost apologetic about the condition of the cars, which explained the great price posted online. The issues were mostly cosmetic ( peeling clear coat) and foreign sealant surrounding the rear tire wells and panels. Pictures provided online were okay but perhaps a more realistic depiction of problem areas would have been useful.

I move back from Florida to Pa in 2001. Before I left I sold my 1963 Austin Healey 3000 and my 1971 429CJ Torino which I had for 28 years. At one time I had a 1968 MG roadster which was so much fun to drive. At 81 needed to spend some of my 2 step daughter's inheritance. They are waiting like 2 vultures. I was looking for a 60's GTO for a long time. However I remember fuel problems and no longer to need quarter mile runs. Started to look a MG's again. McGinty had one which I passed on then decided to look again. I drove 2 1/2 hours one way to look at it. The staff were excellent and got to talk to the mechanic. This car was a 1980 and had only 56000 plus miles. Pat and his wife are wonderful folks. This car was excellent and I am so happy I bought it. Who ever had the car before took very good car of it. 1993 Cadillac Allante review
A 1993. Bought at end of 2019 w/112k for a good price. Car was in good shape, i.e. no head gasket issues minor oil leaks. After flushing the cooling system changing the belts & hoses & fluids, I drove it for the next 2years without issue. Last year (at 126K) new rad., coolant cross-over and water pump. Now it runs perfectly. Issues: Complicated top that needs a specialist to adjust to work easily. Now have 131k. Positives: stunning to look at (head-turner), fast for an early 90's car (0-60, 6.2, 1/4 mile 14.8 and a Cadillac claimed 241kph top), very nice interior for the time. A hybrid (Italo-American) at a very nice price.

2004 Cadillac XLR review
Great car. My wife calls it a "Chick Magnet." The only fault the car has is Getting Parts! Once you have the parts, finding someone who knows about the car is a real trip! most mechanics don't want to touch the car. But with all the potential problems, still love the car!
