Bought the ‘19 in ‘18 off the lot at 90K- have never held onto a vehicle this long. I can not upgrade this model- better then the ‘23 thanks to world issues that affect vehicle manufacturing. Excellent ride, comfort, and superior durability. My vehicle is pristine and l love it. 40 years old, over 25 brand new purchases and this one is still a daily driver!!!

We love our XT5, it drives great and looks great. The only thing is the navigation. You have to plug in your cell phone to get it.

Good interior quality, beefy, spacious and well built. Predictable handling in all weather and road conditions. Not so comfy but your ride is always safe. Regular maintenance is not so expensive.

The Luxury and comfort leveli is not the same that. people got from the early 2000's and earlier models.Disappointing and makes you wonder why you are paying an upcharge over a basic gm or chevrolet of same size just for the name

Previously I had a GM Blazer that was the worst car I’ve ever hard. So I was afraid to buy another GM car. But this 2018 XT5 should be on some kind of special 10 out of 10 list. I found this car on a Cadillac dealer’s lot with only 700 miles on it. I guess I got lucky because in 8 years I had a small AC issue and nothing else! It handles incredibly and never seems to have any issues! I can only hope it continues for another 8 years. It is great!

Bought a 2022 Honda Civic Sport for my nephew. It was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had. My nephew totaled his 2020 Hyundai Kona and said he’d like a Honda Civic. I had the pleasure of working with Rob Agee who couldn’t be more helpful or nice along with his manager Shelly. Rob has been with this dealership since 2009 and Shelly for 32 years. I own a funeral home and have purchased numerous cars through the years and never have I had this level of service. Lockhart Cadillac needs to take note. I let them know that I wanted to purchase a car for my nephews Christmas present. When we picked up the car, they had it in the show room with a big green bow on it. Made my nephew feel important and really rolled out the red carpet for us. They are first class people who know their product. In all the years I’ve bought Cadillacs, I rarely find the same salesperson when I go back. Ed Martin must take care of their people as Rob and Shelly both have many years at this dealership. The XT5 has met all of our expectations in handling, performance and comfort. The 3.6 engine has excellent mileage and power. Interior is very comfortable and stylish. For the past 37+ years I have driven Cadillacs purchased from Lockhart! ALL SERVICE WORK has been performed at Lockhart, as well. I have always been pleased and continue to return to Lockhart for a car purchase and all service work! However, the last BATTERY I purchased from Lockhart failed after approx 11,000 miles and left me stranded last Friday. I expected better than 11,000 miles from a Lockhart purchase! I'm disappointed in the quality and performance of this battery!

3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

Road noise is loud, Water leak in front passenger side during heavy rain or car wash. Engine noise that the tech can’t locate. The XT 5 is a very nice size SUV. For a high end vehicle the warranty should be better in length and milage..

Test drove several models and found that the Platinum Luxury model was fitting for me since I didn't like the sport models all blacked out. The 2023 model is very classy looking yet gives you the presidential feel from the inside. Worth the money to see it turns heads!

We own two XT 5’s 2017 AWD and 2018 FWD. I can not recommend these vehicles more highly. Eight years with the 2017 and no major issues at all. Regular oil changes and have been diligent with manufacturing recommended services. The vehicle is comfortable, reliable and I am keeping it to the end. 78,500 miles by the way. The 2018 is 6 months old with me. I purchased it with 18,000 miles. Just finished having all fluids flushed, plugs changed out and some high quality tires on it, and look for to owning it for the long haul. I am very impressed with these vehicles. They feel solid in inclimate weather, handle exceptionally well and the fit and feel are top notch!

I had a good experience shopping and buying with Brad. I called ahead and the car I was interested in was ready to test drive. When I requested a time I could take it to my mechanic Brad was very accommodating. Fritz promptly fixed some broken sensors as agreed before the sale. Very satisfied.

The XT5 is a great car that is quick, comfortable, fun to drive and it stands out from a crowded suv market. There is very little I would change. I like the 310 hp V6, 8 speed transmission and the brakes are smooth while performing quick stops very well. I do not care for the run / stop feature on the XT5 or any car for that matter. The fit and finish were impressive as well.
