We have buying cars and trucks from Barkaus for years and years. They always treat us right. We have never had a bad experience dealing with this family owned business. Would highly recommend Barkau and Sons to anyone.

good price for suv dont like the auto shut off feature reason i wouldn't buy the vehicle feels very basic in feel but you get what your paying for
I bought a 2011 Cruze from Cole Valley Cadillac in Warren they were very rude and disrespectful to me and I had problems with my check engine light so I ended up going to Cole Valley in Newton Falls they treated me with respect and tried to solve my problem with my check engine light it took a while and several service calls to get it right but so far my check engine light is off and they treated me with respect and kindness at dealership in Newton Falls
This 2005 was the last year of AWD.

Affortable, dependable and AWD ....doing a conversion with lift, fabracated bumper/grill and camper interior. Rare option for 2WD Vans! 4WD conversions very expensive. In high demand for van underground.
Haven't bought a vehicle yet. But so far, just talking with them about one, has been super. (Even if its just to get the sale) they/he has been more than helpful in getting me into ride. My current car has just had an issue with starting and is too much for me to fix, being its paid off with no current warranty. In short, they'll do a trade in and are doing most the work helping with down payment loan, including getting me a ride to the loan place since my car isn't starting. So, so far really food. I will update after receiving a vehicle. (Hopefully the SUV I've been eyeing up in the inventory online)
so far so good?

Had to replace AWD conrtol unit within one week of purchase, hood latch hangs up some times. For a 2002 not too bad.
I visited many dealerships in the twin cities metro area looking for a used cummins. The one i found at bacons was the best deal i found in a 250 mile area. They were easy to work with and sincere honest guys.
Will need more maintenance, yet runs great.

For under $1200.00 the Astro 2002 will work as a cargo van. Needs body work for some rust. I use the Astro Van for a second vehicle to move large items.
We met Sean Prather at 4:45 on a 100 degree Saturday evening. After a horrible afternoon of test driving cars at 4 other dealers, we stopped at Laurel Kia on our way home. Sean stayed late to show me a car, which I loved. I had second thoughts over the weekend and I went back at 5pm tonight. He let me sit in 5 cars, stood outside with me in a hailstorm, and helped me decide what would best fit my needs. I am very happy with the entire experience and highly recommend Laurel Kia and Sean Prather. The finance professional was also super helpful. The dealership is no-frills. But they have complimentary beverages and it’s very clean and upbeat. If I wanted a manicure I would go to a nail shop. I wanted a car, and I got one today! Thanks!

I hate it. It's so big and ugly I feel ugly driving it . I'm embarrassed to drive it. I hate vans I don't understand why so many people like these huge ugly refrigerator vans.. but I don't. Sure the inside is nice.. unless you're the short person driving then you can reach the peddles or sit comfortably in the stupid driver's seat that never adjusts right. I generally hate all vans equally but this one takes the Cake 🤢
needed a van immediately within a budget, these guys guided me and helped me out, highly recommend these guys friendly and easy to get it done. Thanks for the vehicle.Honest dealership
Cargo Van-Less Expensive Work Truck Than Full-Size
by Paul Handyman from Phoenix, AZ
November 26, 2018
It sufficed as far as a work truck goes. Not really any better on gas mileage than full-sized cargo van with the small V-8, and under powered for towing a decent sized trailer. But I was able to pack a lot of tools, equipment, and material in it even with the aftermarket Adrian Steel shelves and bins installed. If you are looking for a light-duty work van, it does the job.
I had an amazing experience at Mullinax Ford of Kissimmee. How was he able to purchase my car in less than a couple of hours and the vehicle was delivered for free from the other Mullinax Ford in Palm Beach. I couldn't have been any happier and I had a big savings by them not having a dealer fee! I recommend them and Brian Rinehart to anyone!! Amazing sales person!

Frank and Gina are the best at their trade! They are personable, caring, and strive for the best possible experience for their customers! They picked me up at that airport and ensured the car was in tip top shape. I just enjoyed looking at all the other models in their inventory as there were many great deals on their lot! All of the paperwork sailed through in Indiana. Thank you both! I hope to purchase my next vehicle from them!

I'v owned two Chevy Azstro's a 2004 and a 2000 I use them for my carrier business. The Chevy Astro has been the most reliable van I've ever owned
I was really, really pleased with my experience here. The salesperson I worked with was friendly, helpful, cute with my kids, and not at all pushy. I was able to find my dream car at an amazing price, and it is in perfect shape (I had verified by Les Schwab before purchase). I found out that they make sure ALL of the cars are in perfect shape before they put them on the lot (fix any problems in their car shop before they sell them). They're would definitely be the first place I stop next time I needed a car, or the first place I would recommend to any family or friends looking for a car.
Best Van Around
by ShelbieD from Arkansas

We own a 1995 Astro which we bought 7 years ago USED with 86K miles on it. It has been the BEST vehicle we've EVER owned. We've replaced a few parts including the fuel pump which we did ourselves...not hard once you get the gas out. :)
Our van is now at 239K and we're looking for another one with miles under 100K...however, our current van is still going strong...no engine problems at ALL.
We're so pleased...we hope they come back out with them! Dumbest thing they did was quit making them!
My car blew a rod approximately a week ago, so I needed a new car ASAP. I spent 5-6 hours perusing various car lots to no avail. I was exhausted, to say the least. Finally decided to drive to Deep Park because of their tremendous selection of cars. Met Marcus and I could tell right away that he wasn't interested in selling me something that I just "kindof" liked-to make a deal and a quick buck. He was very patient, letting me test drive a couple of cars, even one car numerous times. I decided on a Mazda, purchased it and drove home. When I got home, I quickly realized that I made the wrong decision, and I wanted another car I was looking at on the lot- a Volkswagen Eos. Marcus and his team allowed me to return the Mazda and trade it for the Volkswagen- no problem!!! If you are looking for a dealership that's only goal is to make the customer truly happy, you found it!

I loved our Astro Van. We took it on long trips with the kids multiple times and the back seat had the movie going in the high top section and mom and dad enjoyed the view from up front.
We loved our high top Astro conversion van. Yee Haa
The best place I’ve ever been for a vehicle the only thing I can say without writing a whole paragraph is if u want the most help and best service with people who won’t set u up to fail and invite u in like you have known each other for years come herand ask for Shawn Welch he was above and beyond amazing

We bought our van with 168,000 miles on it. It now has 329,000. Motor and tranny just keep going. We did replace the rear end once, fuel pump and a few other things, but it has been worth the money we paid for it! The Astro before this one had 216,000 on it when we sold it. I LOVE my van! Was going to buy some scrape lumber at a lumber yard and remembered I was driving the car. Really miss my van when I'm not driving it!!!
The dealer had the vehicle and price I was looking for online. The process was fairly simple. There were deficiencies that the dealer did not disclose or repair. The dealer alleged to have had the vehicle inspected and we had to repair the lights prior to driving it home.
most reliable and versatile vehicle.

Most reliable vehicle I've ever owned

I decided to write this review because I recently inherited a vehicle that's newer and has considerably less mileage than my 2003 Astro van. Despite a 75,000 mileage difference I'm torn about selling my 15 year-old van. It's been a dependable vehicle that up until now I've never given thought to selling it. Other than replacing the fuel pump the only maintenance I've had to perform other than the usual every 3,000 mile lubes is the air conditioning hoses. I've had that done 2 times and it cost me less than $100 each time at a non-dealer repair shop. The occasional problem with the driver side door lock getting stuck but that's an 5 second fix once you learn how to deal with it.
Today, I made the purchase of a lifetime and ended up in a vehicle that I never thought was possible for me to own at this time in life. Travis was an exceptional salesperson who took the time to work out a deal with me and make things work out for the better. He truly made me feel good about the vehicle and the deal I was getting and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be back in the future to make purchases from there. I highly recommend anyone looking for a different vehicle to come here and ask for Travis, because he'll hook you up with a great deal. Thanks for the great experience.

I have an AWD Astro in snow country. The traction on glare ice is incredible. It just goes. The weight disribution seems to be just right to allow the front wheel drive to start working when the rear starts slipping. Very positive control.
Very dependable. Had to replace fuel pump at 100,000miles. Water pump, starter and alternator soon after. Still on original plugs at 126,000, going strong.
Very comfortable seating all around with great visibility and tall driving height.
All Astro/Safari owners here brag on the traction.
Wish GM still made them. Nothing since compares.
had my friend and i out to look for a car. we found a really nice 2013 hyundai sonata for a price we couldnt pass up. matt and nick are great people to deal with. even had them call and do my insurance for me
