I got this car when I was 16 and it has been great! There are a few details I dislike, mostly cosmetic. The cup holders are very small so only short small drinks fit in them and cups block air controls which gets very annoying. Not extremely comfortable, but good for getting around! As a noob when it comes to mechanics, I really appreciate how easy and cheap it is to replace parts (ex. I replaced the headlights and the sun visors which just pop out). It held all my friends and gets good gas mileage. I also have a natural gas tank as well which was awesome. Unfortunately I got rear ended so it looks like that will be the last of my little Chevy :,( loved it while it lasted though!

My parents bought the 2005 Cavalier sedan 4 door brand new in 2004 and I am driving it today in 2021 with little to no issues. About 215k miles on it. Keep up with oil changes, tires, brakes etc. and you are all set with this car. If you are buying it used, I suggest you always ask for the Carfax and get it checked out by a mechanic first. We had to get the AC fixed at least once over the years but that’s normal for an older car. I bought seat covers and a steering wheel cover for it, because like I said we’ve had it since 2004 and it went through 2 messy kids. Doesn’t do great on the interstate because engine will start to overheat if I go above 65 for more than a few minutes, but no other issue. Has only refused to start twice that I can remember, and those were years ago. Easy jump start. Not the prettiest or most modern car but it sure whips. Paint has began to chip but I heard that that’s a Chevrolet issue from that year. Should’ve gotten a paint job and a modern Bluetooth stereo system, but couldn’t afford it. So I bought a Bluetooth plug-in for the cigarette port so I can charge my phone and play music from my phone, was less than $20. The spare tire that comes with the car is ridiculously small, so maybe get a new one. Great gas mileage and economic value, especially with today’s gas prices! I call her ole reliable, and she’s great on ice, rain, and snow. Huge trunk space for a car that size and comfortably seats 4-5. Great car, has served both my family and myself very well.

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I’m only 16, so I was looking for a cheaper car and found this one off a guy down the road, he drove it to Iowa from Texas so it had no rust but we were worried that it wouldn’t start in the winter, even when the temp hit below -20°F it still started everyday!! It has an amazing stereo system and mine has automatic windows. There is not a day I doubt this car it is SO RELIABLE!!!!

I loved this car, it was the right size car for me and never had any problems with it. I wish they never stopped making it.

I have had this car for 22 years. I wish it was garaged as it is rusting out and the paint has peeled. It has 235,000 miles on it and still running as of 2024.

It has been a great commuting car never let me down with regular oil changes and 3 sets of tires 210,000miles and still going strong !

College Cars is a very respectable and classy dealership. The office is very clean, the sales staff is very honest and points out flaws in the cars - of which there are few because they only sell quality, low mileage cars. I would buy from College Cars again in a heartbeat.

Bought in 2008, had 50,000 on it. Now have 180,000...all its ever had is oil changes, a few batteries, tires and front brakes...that's it ! It still has the original belts and hoses.. 14 years and still going strong... now the bad.. subframe is rotting out (Chicago rust belt car) seat cover wore out.. and AC quit in 2018.... but hey I only paid $7k for it in 2008.. gonna be hard to say goodbye. We've been through snowstorms, ice storms, hail, floods and a deer encounter.

I purchased a used work van through this company and had nothing but positive experiences here. I worked directly with Ivan the whole time and he did an awesome job of helping me. Their whole team at this location is pleasant to be around, including the owner and mechanics. I would absolutely recommend to others and will look for vehicles in the future through them!

This was one of the best cars I've owned. Never gave me an ounce of trouble. Great fuel economy. This car was even Great in the snow. I think Chevy stopped making them because they were so reliable and you did not have to dump money in them. I'd gladly own another.
