I have a 97 Corvette I bought with 82000 miles on it. I have replaced the oil pressure sending unit twice. I have replaced all the shocks. I have replaced both gas tank sending units and fuel pumps. I have replaced the power window and power lock switches on the drivers side. The ac compressor needs replacing . I do love the car. It is Carmine Red.

After 63 years of driving, my 2006 C6 Corvette Base Convertible is my favorite car ever. Past sport cars include 3 versions of Mazda Miata, 14 Porsches (including 914/6, 1973 RS Carrera, 1967 911S soft window Targa, 1979 Turbo Carrera, and IMSA 914/6 track car). I dislike the Corvette weight, width in the garage, and lumbering response to the wheel, but the flatness in a turn and the throttle response are amazing. I find it absolutely beautiful to look at, and the auto transmission (6 Spd w/paddle shifters) is the first automatic I have enjoyed in a sport car. This is my first Corvette after all those Porsches, and I am amazed at the refinement and attention to detail in this car. Leather seats are fairly nice, but they are a little overshadowed by excess interior plastic. The black exterior blends with the black interior and leather, and softens the interior starkness somewhat, but the width of the door sill is an unusual inconvenience.

I can not say enough about Angie and her team at D&M Motorsports! This is a wonderful, family owned business who CARES about providing you with the right vehicle for your needs. They sold me a vintage corvette in near showroom new condition. Not only did they make sure the car was in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition- Angie personally delivered it to my home. I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.

First on the list ! Kevin what a great guy...helped me all along the way, I bought a 2000 Plymouth Prowler with matching Trailer, absolutely stunning hotrod. I flew out from Up-state NY to view the car, they handled my transportation to and from the airport...at i might add there expense, they are all very processional know there vehicles they sell and no B/S no lies, they tell you what it will cost no hidden fees. It truly is an American dream car... fast, reliable, easy to maintain, quick response, surprisingly good gas mileage better than my Nissan XTerra, and most of all very affordable sports car in the market. Most maintenance can be done by an average DIYer and there's a glut of after market parts available everywhere. I have a convertible triple black and it gets admired every time I'm on the road. This is my first Corvette and with my age, probably not my last.

I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

Excellent summer car. Very sharp appearance inside and out. GREAT Bose stereo. Stick shift is smooth. Only drawback is no Bluetooth so it is difficult to drive, shift and talk on the phone simultaneously.

It's been 7 years since I wrote my last review on the same car . Not much has changed since then. I have made a few up grades each year. Bluetooth for an unbelievable concert type sound with or without the T-tops on , Added heat deflective padding under the carpeting and went with a new AC system for really hot summer days. Prices are a bit higher to get into the 80 to 82 models. These ride so much better than the 68 to 79 years. Also, they look cleaner with the built-in rear spoiler. From kids to older adults, Parts are a breeze still to get and its going on 43 years old. You get a lot of thumbs up with smiles on the road with this classic

My is machine silver with competition gray wheels 1lt nice car . Only problem I have had and a lot more people have had with the C6 is the automatic automatic shifter gets stuck in park. A recalled that never happened.

I got my 2007 C-6, in Atomic Orange, in 2020. I found out about it from my sister’s youngest son’s girlfriend, who also was my oldest grandson’s pre-school teacher. Her mom was the executor of her cousin’s estate and had moved the car from her cousin’s home to her farm. Yes, it was actually sitting in a barn with a dead battery and covered in dust and pigeon droppings. The interior looked brand new. This was because after putting a new battery in, I saw that this 13 year old beast had only 6300 miles on it! The owner, who had passed away in 2018, had traded her 1992 C-4 in on the ‘07, drove it a few times and parked it because having double the HP scared her to drive it. Long story short, I saw it, drove it, fell in love with it and got it for a song! Took it home and immediately gave it a bath, using a foam cannon and microfiber mitt of course. Four years later, I’ve put another 7K miles on it and I have no plans of parting with it anytime soon! The only drawback is the interior, which is pretty much the cheapest looking interior styling that resembles an old Chevette. Chevy gave the C-7 a complete overhaul of the interior design in 2014. However, the outside looks great, the handling is superb and the 6.0 LS-2 has gobs of HP and torque. Awesome find after being retired for a couple years and living the dream!

I’ve owned my 2002 convertible since 2005 and get excited every time I drive it. It’s blue and I get a lot of comments such as it being the nicest car the person has seen. The performance is amazing. Weight displacement is the best of any corvette. Surprisingly gets decent mileage. Though I wouldn’t sell mine for less than 40k there are some on the market for half that. Why drive a new Toyota when you can drive a used corvette that will change your driving experience. Besides, ever hear anyone say, “Nice Toyota!”?
