I took delivery of my 2026 Suburban Z71 (6.2L, custom Borla exhaust, red tintcoat) from John Elway Chevrolet on 23 October 2025, and I can say without hesitation that this was one of the best vehicle purchase experiences I?ve ever had. My journey with this dealership started way back in July 2025, when I first tried to buy a similar vehicle. That original deal didn?t work out, but Trevor (Internet Sales Manager) never dropped the ball. He stayed in touch, helped me custom-build the exact Suburban I wanted, and kept every promise, from the guaranteed price to a very fair-trade value on a challenging trade. Throughout the entire process, Trevor?s communication, communication, communication made all the difference. He kept me updated at every step as the vehicle moved through production and delivery. On delivery day, I met Amanda, who made what could have been an overwhelming tech setup feel effortless. She walked me through every performance and technology feature, connected my OnStar account, synced Apple CarPlay, and ensured I understood all the apps and settings before driving off the lot. Her professionalism and enthusiasm turned the delivery into a great experience. Daniel (F&I Manager) was equally professional, direct and knowledgeable when discussing warranty options, but respectful when I declined. The entire process was efficient, transparent, and team-oriented, which I deeply appreciate as a former military officer who values teamwork and integrity. When I left the dealership, my new Suburban was spotless, fully set up, and ready for a long drive south to Texas. I?ve bought many vehicles in my life, and I usually ask dealers not to put their decal on the back. This time, though, I left the Elway football logo right where it belongs. It?s a reminder of a team that truly earned my trust and my business. I not only recommend this team, would actively seek them out again in the future. I was pulling a trailer full of sheep on the way to a show. They took my friend and I in and when they opened, immediately put a technician to work on my truck. When they realized that they couldn't fix my truck that day, they loaned me their plow truck to get my animals safely to the show. It took longer for all the parts to come to get my truck on the road, so the just left me keep theirs. They also helped unload and load trucks going to and from the show to help me get there and home as fast as possible. They are the most kind and compassionate people I have ever met. The work they did on my truck was top notch and fairly priced, I can't say enough wonderful things about this dealership and its staff. When I'm in the market for a new vehicle, I believe I will go to IL and purchase from them just because of the care and service they provided.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
I currently own 11 cars. In addition to my C8, 2 C5 Vettes, 2 Porsches, 3 Miata’s & a few utilitarian cars. I race a Z06 Vette, a Miata & a Porsche. I bought the C8 to track it. Have not yet tracked it. The major options I got are: convertible, Z51 package, front lift, front camera. I love the front lift. Thanks to front lift & front camera so far no scrapes. Picked car up Aug 31, 2022. Have 10,600 miles. Recently drove to Sebring for 12hr Rolex. Put 2700 miles on the drive. Driving 13 hrs at a stretch, car is very comfortable to sit in for 13hrs. Handles beautifully with ample power to accelerate seamlessly to maneuver through highway traffic. I’m in my mid 70’s so getting in/out of this car is not exactly graceful. I’ve had sports cars since my British cars in the 60’s & getting in/out was not graceful back then either. Car is a dream to drive & styling makes it beautiful to look at it. Some people complain about poor visibility & blindspots. My response is there are no blindspots if you set mirrors correctly. Unfortunately, most people do not set mirrors properly. This car’s interior is very tight. It’s a drivers car. There’s no extra interior space. My wife will not ride in this car for any length of time because of the lack of space. She’s accustomed to driving/riding in sports cars. In addition to an SUV & a sedan her other drivers are a Porshe & Miata. Overall it’s a great car.

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
The Corvette C8 Z06 it’s is in my opinion the best bang for your buck in terms of performance. You will not find another vehicle under $250K that will come close to the performance and the quality of this vehicle. Driving this vehicle feels like driving a supercar the sound it’s very impressive and the acceleration it’s insane. I would highly recommend this vehicle!

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
Thats is an actual supercar. I have never driven a car that makes me smile more while driving. The mid-engine and sloped front end gives it the Ferrari vibes and it constantly delivers. The interior is surprisingly luxurious and I have not had a single mechanical issue with it.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
Update from Vette Guy of Tucson, Az. I received my replacement Z-06 convertible almost exactly 2 months from the date I ordered it. It arrived exactly as ordered: Mist Red with Natural interior, Z07 Handling Package, Visible Carbon Fiber Big Aero Package, Carbon Fiber Wheels and Racing Seats. I have 800 miles on the car, so far no problems. I plan on racing the car in the September Silver State Challenge Ely, Nv. open road race. I raced the 2023 Z06 there in May, great race try it! I'm also attending the Z06 driving school in Pahrump,Nv. I did the Z51 school last year, highly recommended! Overall a big Thumbs up to Watson Chevrolet for keeping their word on getting me a replacement Z-06!

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

2025 Chevrolet Corvette review
Have only had for a few weeks, but this car is awesome. Very smooth when you want in touring mode and for more aggressive settings you have sport and track. I mainly drive in touring and its as smooth as any high end sedan. The power is perfectly tuned to the car, plenty fast when needed. Paint quality, interior materials and all together fit is great. Very happy so far.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette review
I've owned many high performance cars--BMWs, Jaguars, Mercedes, including previous Corvettes, and driven many others. My 2024 Hard Top Convertible C8 Z51 with 3LT trim outdoes them all... in looks, performance, luxury and reliability. This car is stunning inside and out. The exterior design still looks like a Corvette, but with stunning and cutting edge mid-engine styling. The handling and shifting are sublime and, in fact, the C8's eight speed DCT is the exact same one found in the $260K Maserati MC20 Cielo... even the C8's hard top was designed by the same German company that made the Maserati's top... all the way down to the little adjustable rear window. Finally, let's not forget the LT2 engine that is pure sweetness, proven and reliable. Step inside and you'll find the C8's interior is both functional and ultra luxurious, with advanced styling that goes beyond most sports cars... from the impeccable leather stitching and full aluminum paddles to the amazing looking floating dash and the slim, almost invisible air vents. The glove compartment and console don't need locks because they lock automatically when you get out of the car. Every possible driver need has been considered, from side view mirrors that lower when the car is in reverse so that you can see the curb when parking.... in addition to the mirrors folding inward--either automatically programmed or with the touch or a button that's conveniently located on the armrest. Settle your hands on the not completely round, but curvy, leather laden steering wheel, and you're given a unique treat of design meant to work for optimal human use. Press the heated steering button and the wheel warms up exactly where you place your hands, above or below the spokes. Most sports cars are known for their nefarious blind spots... but with the digital rear view mirror and blind-spot monitoring in the 2024, this issue is all but eliminated and makes this a very safe car on the road. Add in mag ride control, and it's a magic carpet grand tourer that soaks up the road like a large sedan. But the moment you press the Z Mode (there are 4 built-in modes, plus 2 customizable) the aggressive nature of the nearly 500 hp beast jolts alive. With performance traction control, fade free larger Brembos, and the electronic slip differential plus special Z51 gearing, the C8 doesn't merely drive-- it pounces and leaps like an unbridled racing thoroughbred while hugging the corners effortlessly. The interface seamlessly blends both screen and buttons for easy usability. For example, the MC20 Maserati has no button for raising or lowering the hardtop; users must go through the computer screen interface to raise or lower the top. But the C8 has a dedicated button--push it down to open the top; pull it up to bring the top down. Simple. Intuitive. Easy. The C8's entire interface its like that.... there are intuitive buttons for many features-- such as raising and lowering the front lift, windows and climate controls. Speaking of the front fit, the C8's front lift function can remember 1000 locations and is operated with--you guessed it--a single button. Interestingly, the C8 raises the front end 143mm compared to slightly over 50mm for the MC20. Finally, the C8's computer screen interface is blazingly fast and easy to understand and use. It wirelessly hooks you up with Android and Apple Car play the instant you turn on the vehicle. You can change modes in a flash, and the heads up display changes with the models as well. In short, the C8 Z51 is a dream car. You could get other C8 variants, and they will also be amazing. But for daily driving, getting on the track with durability, speed and handling, the C8 Z51 might be the sweet spot. Anyone who owns or drives one is fortunate indeed.
