I bought the car used at 191,669 and she now at 208,781 miles. She is a good reliable car the only things that broke where thing the previous owner neglected, headliner was removed before I got her. She ran out of coolant when I first got it and over heated and the temp gauge topped out but few thousand miles later head gasket is fine the only problem is a slight lifter tick that was there when i bought the car. She will spin tire if you know how. The seats are comfortable

I bought my Malibu new after trading in my minivan, I was sick of minivans and have been very impressed with my Malibu. The car is large enough to fit everything I need, it accelerates quickly and still runs strong! I love how quiet the engine is and how smooth it drives. It rarely needs repairs and seems like it will run forever. The only ongoing issue it’s had that no mechanic can fix is that it has a tendency to die on me when I am backing out of parking spaces and my driveway. Sometimes after it dies I have to fight it a bit to get it started again and sometimes it starts right backup. I would highly recommend this car to anyone.

I’ve driven this car for 3 years and it still lasts me, it’s just now starting to crap out a bit. Not too great in snow but it does have a traction control button and a low gear. The cars got a good bit of punch to it but be careful as it destroys the tires, I’ve had numerous things in the car give out (brake fluid leak, horn hasn’t worked for years, vent valve solenoid has a very weak connection) but even through all the abuse I’ve put it through she’s still going stron.

Affordable reliability. Never left me stranded. Normal maintenance only. NY winter salt finally ate through the frame. Cried when I had to let her go to scrap. Best reliability ever!!!! Was never in mechanic for other than normal repairs or maintenance. Couple springs here, brakes there. No engine or tranny issues. Had it until 2016. Bought used when it was 5 years old.

Sean was very helpful. I contacted them about a car before I went there. Sean test drove the car and shot a personal video for me to see the car. He was friendly in person and helped with the test drive. I ended up not buying the car, but Sean was still friendly as we parted. Good selection of quality cars. As a kid, my grandmother had a gold Malibu LS with every option in the book. I, unfortunately, wasn’t able to get said Malibu, as it kicked the bucket when I was younger, so I bought my own for the low cost of 900$. Never once has it failed me. She’s unfortunately quite rusty and has needed wheel bearings, tie rods, ball joints and the works, but she always turns over and gets me where I need to go, comfortably and safety. The old pushrod 3100 isn’t anything bragworthy, but it’ll get you the xxxx out of there when and if you need it to. I highly recommend this generation of Malibu for a first car, or cheap reliable transportation. But maintenance is an absolute must on these cars do you wish to keep them going.

When I bought this car, it had about 86K miles. It helped me in so many different ways, such as: helping me get to and from work, visiting family and even college! Unfortunately, this car was totaled at 95K Miles, may it rest in peace.

My Malibu Maxx has been all over with me, I love it! Pros: Roomy, fast, reliable Cons: passenger window doesn’t work, from day 1 this car has had stubborn startups when hot.

My first car was a 2002 base model Chevy Malibu. It has been reliable for me from 72,000 miles to where I'm at now with 265,000 miles on it. The cheap interior and lack of design character aren't the best but for its age, it's pretty reliable, and that's what really matters.
