Used Chrysler PT Cruiser for sale near Jackson, MS

After searching the western/upstate NY area for a used truck and not finding what I was looking for, I ended up finding a few near each other in NE Ohio. One of those was here at Haasz. I got hooked up with Geno. Fantastic guy! Had the truck waiting for me, and tossed me the keys for a test ride the second I hit the lot. As it turned out, one of the trucks at another dealer was better suited for me - no reflection on Geno or his manager Justin. Had a great conversation with them, and though they really wanted to sell me their truck, they certainly didn’t make it an overly pressured, uncomfortable, or distasteful experience, and understood where I was coming from. I wouldn’t hesitate to make the ride down there again to do business with them…5 hours away!

Mine was a fantastic car, downside no power poor gas mileage, but l didnt need it to do either, l only had to do regular maintenance oil changes brakes and rear shocks, its a xxxxx if you have to do nearly anything in engine compartment. 180,000 miles and a pump in transmission went, l donated it

I bought a used 2005 chrysler pt cruiser a few years ago. My wife found in in Trenton , NJ. It was a one owner with just over 30,000 miles on it. We only drove it a few blocks, tried the convertible top and was sold on it. I had a small accident a few years ago but it was fixed fantastic like new. I love my car everything works like new and always getting some compliants Inferno Red Black Top Will never sell it!

I spotted a car I was interested in on Craigslist and came in to check it out. I was immediately presented with the CarFax and allowed to see the car. I live 2.5 hours away and was able to place a deposit and set up a day to finish the sale. My sales associate, Chase, was professional and responsive to emails. He had my paperwork ready to go when I arrived, and it was quick and easy (though I hope I'm not doomed to being hounded by the third-party extended warranty provider). I did not have an outside inspection done on my vehicle (the service records in the CarFax were pretty complete), but someone asked about having one done while I was there and it didn't seem to be a problem. I am happy with both my vehicle and the purchasing process.

I just love the PT. I've owned 4 and I find it a great fit for me. Comfortable and enough room for everything. Reliable and safe.

All I can say is GREAT things for this company and Andy Rosales as a salesman. I came here looking for a low mileage nice Golf. I didn’t have an appointment but Andy Rosales came out right away and came across as an acquaintance/friend rather than a salesman right off the bat, and didn’t try to push a sale on me at all. Just asked if I wanted to look and test drive some. I test drove 4 cars, and Andy was super nice about letting me test drive all the vehicles I wanted to look at. they had 3 options on site and another at another location here in the springs. I just came to test drive the first day and was planning on going home and sleeping on it. And they had no problem with that and just provided a phone number to reach out. No pushy salesman tactics you see at most auto dealers, by the salesman, manager, or financing manager. I came back the next morning to talk numbers. I did my research on the vehicle and they were very transparent with me throughout the whole process. Like any dealership, negotiation skills are helpful, but I truly believe based off my experience that this dealership is truly not out to scam you. I got the EXACT car I wanted, for a veryyy competitive price. I am 100% coming back here as far as I’m concerned.

Unlike any other car in the parking lot. Interior is very space efficient. Easy to enter and exit. Zippy. Purchased my base model manual 5 speed used in June 2019 with 29k miles. These cars get a bad rap because people don't care for them properly. The PTC was designed with the help of Daimler [as in Daimler Benz]. Mechanically they have a European character. They need proper maintenance which is why the average Joe and Jane shouldn't own one. Example: the owner's manual is very specific about using HOAT coolant. The average corner mechanic doesn't care and will tell you it doesn't matter. But with plastic, aluminium, cast iron and brass parts in the cooling system IT MATTERS! Same with engine oil. Follow the manual! And who ever flushes their power steering fluid or changes transmission fluid? Bingo - these cars require strict attention to this maintenance. It's turning radius is about the same as my wife's 2011 Prius. The PTC has a better ride and as a 5 speed is more fun to drive. I have owned Lexus V8's, purchased a new BMW 3 series 5 speed and 5 series automatic, new and used MBenz's but my PTC is more fun than any of them. With low mileage, my suspension is still tight and the ride is very good. You sit high. If you have one or get one, find a Chrysler dealer with a mechanic old enough to know this car. The engine compartment is tight which frustrates the average mechanic. To improve the ride on a high mileage PTC, change the front sway bar bushing using OEM rubber. Add the rear sway bar from a recycle yard. Sway bar was tandard in 2001-2002 and deleted in 2003+ to save $$ as was the second horn, cabin air filter and engine dress-up cover. Use OEM Mopar parts and the PTC will be a reliable and fun car. Heed the recommendation to replace the timing belt and due to labor, water pump, at 100k miles. Lots of Youtube videos for the do-it-yourselfer.

I bought my first (sadly dream car) after selling my c3500 for a 2004 pt cruiser last year. Now at first it was the cheapest quickest car I could buy in a flash due to growing family. However the little Chrysler that could grew on me. I bought it with just over 150k km and quickly got just under 200k km. Now I know many will judge; but this little car went almost 50k km without any work or any oil changes or maintainance. I should mentioned this cars from way up north Canada so she sees ALOT of road salt snow and mud. Also I should mention this car is my and my sons “hunting buggy” we have over sized off-road tires and 30% of the time it’s running mud and gravel roads/off-roading. Only recently have I had to change my power steering hose and have a wheel bearing, hub, alignment and a new set of tires thrown on it. That’s incredible for those of you that don’t know. Now she does have her quirks like the interior lights due to rke module and the power locks (same issue) but unlike most vehicles, just pull one fuse and problem fixed; you just don’t have power locks (boo-hoo) It’s also loud on the interior when you pull the seat from the back and haul cargo. But good luck turning your civic into a pickup truck with more issues. Long story short this has now been the second longest lasting and most reliable vehicle I’ve owned aside from aforementioned truck that I had 10k$ Custom builds into. Now she’s been running myself wife and three kids (yes this car fits three car seats and weekends worth of camping gear) for a little over a year without any issues other then I’ve caused.

I was so lucky to find this car, I replaced the tires and had it examined, excellent shape, bought it with 80,000 miles. Runs like a new car, everything works and is a blast to drive, no problems so far! We love it!

I live in Sequim and Gray motors has been around for quite some time. They are a local small business that carries some interesting inventory. I like the older, low mileage stuff. Call before you go. This isn't Seattle, They aren't open like the city dealers. To the Karens and Chads who are complaining about their hours, go buy elsewhere.

I got my 2009 PT cruiser this past May for $300. It was Is wrecked , left front headlight and finder and wiped out the lower control arm. Except for that this PT cruiser was in excellent condition I mean everything in it works and no interior damage what so ever She just needed a little T L C , which I gave her I replaced the lower control arm headlight and finder cleaned it inside and out Did a l o f and tuned it up , and with 92,000 thousand miles on the2.4L this PT cruiser runs excellent At this point , buying it and fixing it I am right at a Thousand dollars invested I have had two officers, one for 3,500 the other for 4,200 Which I turned down I can't get anything this nice that runs so excellent for the money I drove a rental PT cruiser many years ago, and it ran good I love my PT cruiser and plan on buying some fixer uppers to save for myself Every car made has some kind of issues , one time or another If you get a chance , check a PT cruiser out

Great service from Corey Wakefield in the sales Dept. Highly recommend Armstrong Chevrolet. Bought a used 2012 Ford F150 xlt: Awesome deal on a great truck. Corey was willing to talk price on the phone before I even saw it, which was handy since I live more than an hour or so away. Service department got the truck into top shape just as was promised, drove the truck home, and I am a happy guy. What more do you want from a car dealership? Fair, honest, and a genuinely friendly guy. No hard sell at all, and my wife and I were comfortable the whole time. And all this with the used car market out of control bcs. of the pandemic. Looking online, you'd think PTs were horrible. They're not. I'm a Service Writer at Chrysler. I've owned 3 of them, all great cars! If you're looking to race, it's not the car you want, but if you're looking for Comfort on a long or short trip, plenty or room for stuff, (I carry my drumset in mine), practically and ease of use, this is your car. Visibity is great, braking is good, the steering is controlled, competent, and predictable. This is Not a rally car. We've taken both our PTs, (One is a turbo) up the steep and windy road to Lake Tahoe. Stay within it's limits and you'll love it. I can push it more than you'd imagine. The car will tell you when to cool it. It has enough power, even in reserve to make the journey very enjoyable. The Turbo does deliver more power, but really, both turbo and non turbo are great choices. I get 28 MPG on a long highway trip. It's not great, but for the sake of my comfort, (Bad back) I'm happy with it. City is about 23. Again, not great, but over train tracks and pot holes, it remains stable without beating you up, so I'll take it! We don't see these on our service drive often. They are dependable, BUT, You Must do Your Services On Time. Oil, transmission, coolant, brake fluids will get you well over 100,000 miles. Take care of it, it'll take care of you. Oil leaks, door rattles, are the most common complaints, but the simplicity of the design makes those easy to fix. Ninety nine times out of 100, the people with all of the problems and breakdowns have not taken care of the car OK, to sum up. This is not a race car, but it has enough power to get you in to or out of trouble. Service It! I love my PTs. They're practical comfortable reliable. A good first car for your kids as well as an everyday driver!

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I lucked out getting one made May in the last year of production 2010 June. Excellent condition and 72500 mi. It is a Couture Edition featured two-tone paint scheme: black above the beltline and silver metallic on the bottom section, with a red pinstripe dividing the two. The interior dark gray leather optional with black piping, a black shifter knob and chrome appliques. Outside features included 16-inch chrome-clad wheels with chromed bodyside moldings and accents. Production was limited to 500. It is January and too much snow. I drive my Jeep. Looking forward to spring. I've lots of autos.
