In 2002 they sold over MSRP adjusted for inflation @$54K in todays money- pricier than the 2002 Corvette and sold like 30,000 that year. I think that new car buyer had to probably be searching for the 1955 Thunderbird experience to shell out that kind of cash, and most people born on the 60’s and 70’s just didn’t understand that appeal. Oddly, the demographic that did BABIED their cars, kept up maintenance, have all the original tools and covers (just try and find that T-handle wrench for the hard top for example) when you get lucky enough to get a shot at buying one of these babies cars you’ll find they’re sharp and quick, amazingly so despite what people someone lent one to to write about said 20 years ago. Shod with 17inch tires 🛞 and solid suspension, people can complain about the horsepower being light, but stomp it and it will jump, zoom and weave solidly with the best of them. My drive home from buying this car was a blast. Will other sports models eke out slightly better speed, power and performance over these 20 year old T-birds? Sure, why not. Does it matter if you’re not at Road Atlanta? No. For me, this a sleeper sports car that’s about to bust onto the scene and see its reputation finally living up to the 2002 Car of the Year Award Motor Trend gave it. I think you need to find one of these babied sweethearts like I did. It’s a blast to find a good one and discover what an under rated blast it is to drive. Can’t really call it super nimble, but I respect mines solid ride and reasonably quick response & rocket like performance. The incredibly clean lines scream style visually and I suggest that a 2 tone leather optional interior is worth an extra $1K (over the basic. $11-12 K value) a hard top/rack/tonneau cover intact is worth another grand. ($13-14K total seems fair generally for a babied one). Check the rubber suspension parts underneath (inside the front wheel well behind the tire) is the easiest one to check quickly for rot w/o getting under the rear).

This car is so much better than I ever dreamed it would be. Power all over the rev range, handling like no other and comfort on top of everything else.

I bought a Mustang GT because I was dissatisfied with my 2020 Corvette's ride and ergonomics. Also, because neither Chevrolet nor Dodge had an answer to the Mustang. The GT has great features with its touch screens, intuitive HVAC controls and other vehicle control features, The interior is comfortable. It could use power tilt-tele steering wheel. There's plenty of gauge clusters, and color schemes to keep you busy. Same for Drive modes. Braking is very good, especially the optional Brembo's. The sound system in top B&O guise is the minimal you'd expect. It doesn't measure up to Mopar. Power is good, but low end torque could be better. The exterior styling would be second to Camaro if there were one, but it keeps improving. Opt for the 20inch wheels for looks and handling. Choose the right paint, and get the 6 speed if you like manual gears. Ford, increase fuel tank size from 16 to 18.

Mustang convertible GT California special edition mechanical work a little bit needed but that’s OK at 130,000 miles. A dream come true my second convertible.

My dream car and easily the best car I’ve had. She’s strong and fast abut quiet enough to drive with grandma if you need to (just can’t lay into it). Obviously it isn’t a BMW or Audi, so the interior isn’t necessarily “state of the art” but it definitely well produced, easily functional, and moderately aesthetically pleasing. But we all know, know one gets this car for the material they use on the volume knob. I get head turns everyday and people absolutely love it. My favorite car and I can keep it until they tell us we can’t use gas anymore.

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. Now she has a safe reliable vehicle for her and my two grandsons!

I bought this car used in 2012. Over 10yrs later and 214k miles she still rolling. I did have to replace power steering sensor last year and unfortunately it has to be reprogrammed in shop or would of saved chuck of money. My evap solenoid is giving me trouble but my heat my AC my radio my windows all work and I would buy a brand new one if I good. Lots of replaced headlamp bulbs over the years but once rewired it made much better

Just sold mine after owning it for eight plus years. While I loved the looks of the SLK and I did enjoy owning and driving it, I was never that crazy about the spartan interior. For a Mercedes that cost $40K new, I thought it was rather plain Jane. I also wasn't happy with things like the door panels delaminating, the dash finish scaling off and probably most of all, the dang roof...I expected better from a Mercedes Benz. The roof went kaput three times while I owned the car and I got sick of the bother and the cost to deal with it. I would have also hoped it would hold its value better. I sold it rather cheap despite having put thousands into it. It's a cool little hardtop convertible but if you buy one, beware...be prepared to sink some $ into it.

All in all it has been a great car and I have owned it since 11K, now almost 200K. Winter stored so no rust, I have driven it like a sports car and it has never let me down. 3 issues over 18 years. #1 was drivers side window motor (EZ replacement) #2. I've blown both front speakers, #3. One bearing let go in the rear end. It still has all the original bulbs even and only the second set of brakes, original clutch, exhaust still looks new underneath (about 8 sets of tires though). It is a pewter, 6 speed LS1 SS model Convertible and a rare sight. I've never seen one like it.

Dylan was very helpful, patient, and not pushy at all. He was in constant communication with me until we came to an agreement. He worked with me to get the price that I felt was justifiable. H&K was willing to negotiate and compromise.

I own a be 2018 Corvette Z51. This car is far better than the 2017 I previously owned. I really enjoyed the car I own.

4.95 Stars. Recently found a vehicle that I wanted, located on PricePro's lot in Ohio. (Im from Michigan) Communicated with John Velez, whom answered all my questions promptly. The car was priced low enough where no negotiations were needed. The dealership was able to do remote documentation for the sale. My only complaint, mild as it is, I bought a EV that should have been charged and ready for me when arriving. I drove from a state away to be informed their staff failed to plug it in over night. They rushed it down to a lvl3 charger and resolved the oversight! Besides the little xxxx up, I would buy again, I would recommend John Velez to you if your in the market for one of their vehicles.

Straight forward and honest, I asked about a vehicle and was told not to bother it was in rough shape and they made a bad call on taking it in on trade. I was impressed that they told upfront the vehicle was bad I appreciate that they steered me away from a bad deal instead of making a sale first. Never owned a Corvette before my 2020 C8 2LT. This American sports car is a super car costing 3 & 4 times less than others. My only disappointment is the camera in the interior rear view mirror. Head lights and driving lights flutter in the camera and at night following vehicles appear to be in a fog. It's a smart man's super car.
