I have a 2013 SXT with Rallye appearance with 131,000 miles on it almost 3 years with it and I’m in love with it, where I leave we have an extremely hot weather reaching 52 Celsius during the summer, the AC is Icy cold 🥶, the cooling system has been surprisingly reliable for the weather we have, I only have done regularly oil changes, spark plugs, brakes and normal stuff nothing serious on it and I have drove it hardly and done many trips on it without any trouble, pretty comfortable and a great sound system mine has the Boston acoustics speakers and a sunroof, it has the 2.4 litter engine with a 6 speed automatic transmission and it’s just great is the third car we have at home with this engine and we really liked them and it has been a great engine for my family and I, even there are newer and more technologically advance cars this one has everything I need. Totally recommend it.

2014 2.4 SE 4-Speed with 68,900 miles. With all the technology that newer cars come with these days, the 2014 Avenger is basic and simple transportation that does it's job very well. The Charger's baby brother still looks sharp, especially the 2011-2014s with the LED taillights. Other than an alignment, new tires and sway bar links, the Avenger has been perfectly reliable to me. I've driven the car to NYC a few times and it has never left me stranded. The hydraulic steering is direct and has good feel; even the base SE suspension is fun to drive but very comfortable. I average around 23 MPG city and 26 MPG on the highway. For downsides, the 2.4 is noisy, a 4-speed automatic in 2024 can be underwhelming at times, interior space is between compact and midsize (seats do fold down), the C-pillar is a big blind spot (I got used to it) and at least on the SE there is no bluetooth. That being said, the design dates back to 2007 and personally I prefer reliability over refinement which the Avenger has. If anyone is looking for a daily driver, I highly recommend a used Avenger that's been well-maintained.

Needed a bake actuator pump on my 2008 Prius. At 210000 and 15 years old a new one was to costly. The parts dept went on a search and found one in the after market and saved me half the cost of replacing it. Super nice people. Brian in the device dept went above and beyond to get me what I needed.

Dodge avenger is a good, I have used this car for 8 years now. The speed drops after 110 km/h a few times. I have changed plugs and feul pump but still. What is the problem, any help ? (Frank)

This is my second purchase from Ideal. Found a 2010 Ford Explorer on their website. It was still in the process of title being passed to them. Waited and checked back with them 2 weeks later. I was able to get a chance to drive it and took it on the freeway. This time I requested financing which they carried out quickly and provided me with a very low finance rate. Yes, they did add for putting the auto in "ready" condition. My auto had just come out of auction which required cleaning and checking to make sure it was servisable. Just bought 2014 Avenger. I new nothing about it. Love the red color and sporty styling.Just a good solid car without too many bells and whistles I don't need. Great 4 cylinder on gas.

this 2013 avenger 2.4ltr engine....hey...its not the v6...but the 340 v8 is not the 440....in a ford....the 351 is not a 427...yet those are all good engines....the four cylinder gets going quite nicely...its 173 hp in a 3200 lb car...thats pretty good...final gear is 3:91...(is that correct)...thats a nice final gear....that helps to get this 4 cyl moving...

Great car I get a lot of complaiments on it, My main gripe is maintenance. Try and change the sparkplugs or better yet try and pay a mechanic to do it... $600!!!! EVERYTHING IS HARD TO WORK ON. Try and change the battery haha.... better yet try and pay a mechanic $400 for a battery change xxx??? Don't buy this car, Its beautyful but its really hard to work on and its a gas hog.

Good car overall though it was a little expensive when I purchased almost new. Easy to maintain. No problems out of it until 150000 miles.

I needed a better truck and I contacted Robert Parsons at Dwain Taylor. We got together, looked at this Toyota Tacoma and in a coupla hours I was driving it home!! Bought the vehicle used with 90,000k. At 147,000k now for 3 years. Mostly highway driving. Downsides...Bad battery placement, poor alternator design, had to replace due to the pulley clutch. My 4cyl. Is a dog; way underpowered. The main power and is around 4,000rpm. That's really pushing this little 4 banger. The engine struggles over almost any grade in the road, especially in cruse. There are huge blind spots at the rear A pillar. The unprotected wires for the airbag sensors under the seats cause the airbag light to come on. Now the upsides. Best looking sedan in it's class, hands down. Alloy wheels, steering wheel controls, lighted cup holders, clean interior. Relatively comfortable seats. Excellent gas mileage (23-28mpg). The 6 speed automatic transmission makes the dogish 4cyl make the car driveable, as well as the slap manual for shifting. The radio has a HDD drive that holds a gig of music storage. Excellent sound system. Large trunk, rear seat access through the armrest. Overall; with preventive maintenance, driving responsibly, and regular oil changes/tune-ups I would expect another 100,000k (knock on wood).

Given that it is 10 years old if given proper maintenance it will last well over 250k...expect to put in the basics along the way, but overall not a bad car especially for someone who can do minor repairs on their own.

The 2008 avenger rt we bought new. We currently have 264,000 miles on it and is going strong 💪. My single complaint is: it is equipped with the 3.5 engine, and from date of purchase, it uses a quart of oil on 1,500 miles. I brought this to the dealers attention. Their response was: this is termed by the manufacturer, nominal oil use. Thus the oil is only changed at 6000 miles, as l feel it has already had an oil change, having added 4 quarts interm of the 6000 miles. I was also told: leave it alone as some motors, (find a level and maintain it). What a joke! Not this motor. I drove 2,500 miles and went back to the dealership, and their was not a drop in the end of the dipstick! Thus checking it regular, it runs strong. As for a motor warranty, that is sure a sore spot! As for the car totally, outside of the motor oil use, it is an excellent car!
