Love this car. I had bought a 2011 Charger when they first changed the body style and loved it as well but I moved up north and needed to sell it for 4 wheel drive. I am back down south now and got rid of the 4 wheel drive and went straight back to the Charger. I bought the R/T and it has lots of power and is super comfortable as well. I plan on keeping this one and never getting rid of it. If you want something that can fit 4 to 5 people comfortably and still have plenty of muscle this is a great car.

This is the second Charger owned. 2019 and a 2023. The car is reliable but workmanship and materials are no different between the model years. I anticipate issues with the 2023 that I incurred with the 2019 such as early suspension component wear and UConnect problems with blue screen and eventual failure. One item Dodge cut corners on starting in 2020 was elimination of the remote gas door. It is now tap and open and there is no aftermarket filler neck lock that can be purchased to prevent someone from pouring a fluid or substance into the gas tank using an emergency filler funnel. The car also honks 3 times instead of a beep if anyone including a passenger leaves the car with the keys/FOB to go inside a Post Office to check the mailbox, or make a quick stop at a convenience store. Seems logical it would prevent a lone driver leaving a running vehicle, so why do automakers have remote start using the FOB, or Dodge APP. They need to allow the owner the option to select no horn or just flashing lights. When it comes to value, it gets an average rating. Nothing spectacular about the car except it no longer will be produced with a Hemi. And the price exceeds its value for a vehicle that has not seen a body change in too many years and uses the same shoddy suppliers for the fault prone UConnect, and interior door panels known to buckle along the windows for no reason, even garaged vehicles. That's probably why there is still a glut of these "Last Call" cars before Stellantis, nothing more than a group of investors, pushes the next generation performance Charger on buyers as a rebadged 2 door Electric Challenger, or 2-door in-line 6 cylinder. But it a fun car because of its performance. And that's what attracts buyers to this 4-door car. If "Fun" was a rating category, I would give it a 5.

The reason for my purchase of 2023 Charger GT was that it was to be used for my daily driver. My ultimate pleasure driver is a 2023 Challenger 392 T/A. Wanting a nice comfortable driver that will fly under the radar and not stand out was the key here. It's F8 Green whereas my Challenger is Sublime Green. It's a smooth ride with looks to match. I just got home. I left my house at 7:30 this morning and was at the dealership for five hours. BUT I had asked them to do a complete assessment and they did everything. I love these people. As I drove up my little four legged service person got all excited. She knew where we were and she has a lot of friends there. Everybody came out to greet us and help us descend. As a rule I am treated as someone special. I'm not but I am 87 years old and they are careful to take good care of me. I know them all but am losing my ability to remember names so please forgive me guys but Roderick, Arsenio, Luis, Denisa are so kind and I wrote down their names so I could remember them. My car was very happy and I don't know what all they did but she was very happy. (Yah! She's a lady). I have a very serious suggestion: Now I have no intention of ever buying another car , BUT, wouldn't it be great if you could go to a dealership, (as a woman not knowing much), and find a salesperson there, (of the female persuasion) who not only knows cars but knows the mechanics and has been taught the correct way to sell? I would scout places that teach car mechanics and see if a female is part of the student body and offer her a course in selling and a job. Maybe she just wants to be a mechanic but you could still call on her when you have a woman to sell to. Just an old lady's idea. I encountered a super female salesperson at a Honda dealership in Kissimmee, FL about 25 years ago. The only reason I didn't buy her car right then and there was I had decided I wanted a Chrysler. Anyway, You guys get all the stars. I know i can trust you.
