I just bought my dream car from Archibald’s and they made the process so easy!!! I am so turned off by high pressured sales and they are so easy-going and down to Earth! I feel like the sales team is there to assist you and not to force you to buy something!!! I hope to have my car for a few years but I definitely will be going back!!!
Buying a vehicle long distance can be somewhat trying - particularly when a trade in is involved. NOT so with Chelsea & Rich! My telephone negotiations with Chelsie were cordial - quick & easy. When she offered to DELIVER the car to me here in Portland - I was surprised and very pleased. Rich showed up with the Wrangler the next day at the appointed time. Everything was in order - the tank was full of gas - we completed the transaction in about fifteen minutes and he was on his way. I didn't think there were still car dealers this easy to deal with. I was hoping to prolong the replacement process for my 2007 Hyundai Sonata (206,000 miles) as long as possible. When a deer kamikazed my baby while my husband was driving it, that definitely changed. I'm a 911 Dispatcher, so you can imagine the range of emotions I had when I answered his 911 call and he basically said, "Honey, I wrecked your car."
There were a lot of people and businesses that came together and played a role in making this emotional rollercoaster easier for me, especially because my husband is on the west side of the state and unavailable due to work mandated training (with the only other car that we own).
My dad has a long history working with John's Auto Mart so I walked in trusting that they would take care of me too. They had the exact car I wanted as a replacement (another newer Hyundai Sonata) and it was in the color that my husband wanted. The asking price was very workable and close to the range that my husband and I were hoping for.
Ken and Al were extremely understanding to our situation. Al made the experience very personal and Ken made it possible for my husband and I to be on everything together, even though my husband isn't available to do anything until the weekend (I was buying mid-week during my days off).
When it came to negotiating, there really wasn't any, and there wasn't much need for any. Ken cut it as low as he could and it was in the price range we wanted. I was able to drive the car home the same day and the whole process only took about an hour and a half.
John's Auto Mart definitely made the replacement process easier than I was expecting and I really enjoyed working with them.
Great experience, helpful staff, awesome selection. I do wonder, however, if there is any way of speeding up the process. After we found our truck and struck the right bargain, it took over 5 hours to complete the paperwork. My wife and I were captives at the dealership for 8 hours
JR and Pat very professional knowledgeable and no BS games. Fat what a consumer wants from a dealership. Both gave me their personal Sell phones so I can call them and ask questions about my vehicle at later times. Lithia has two great assets with having them
