The 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 is an older-style truck, but it is extremely reliable and good-looking. The purpose of this vehicle is to provide enough torque for towing while having enough horsepower to serve as a daily driver. It was designed to be a light work truck that can also be used every day. I bought this truck because I own another one that I have slowly built to look the way I want, and I am using this second truck for parts to continue building my main one. I found this truck for a very cheap price of only $300, and when I bought it, it ran and drove well. The closest competitors are Ford, Chevy, Nissan, and Toyota half-ton pickup trucks. In my opinion, Dodges look much better than their competitors and are just as reliable. I recommend this truck because the engine is very dependable, and the body is all metal, making it more durable. These trucks were designed to be workhorses, and it shows; they also have the power to keep up with highway traffic. I've never had any major issues with these trucks; I even wrecked my truck going 70 MPH, and I only had to replace the front end. These trucks are very, very durable and reliable. I’ve had this truck for about half a year now and so far no issues, the rust can be kind of a xxxxx, And it likes to gobble fuel I do not recommend letting this truck sitting idle, not good for the cams Overall it’s very comfortable it drives like a ghost, I will buy dodge for the rest of my life

Got my 2007 Ram Sport replaced my 2003 Ram 2500 sport. Safe trucks my 2500 saved my life . Still a head turner to this day . Rust free . And it’s 2023 now . You got to take care of these paint jobs on them . Love ❤️ my 2007 Ram Sport . Had it since 2020 .

What a fantastic truck. This truck just does everything right . Mine is a 5.7 Hemi that sounds incredible. Power is very good, although not as strong or fast as my 2014 5.0 F150. Roomy and comfortable and smooth as silk on the road. However since the 5.7 hemi screams with testosterone building induction and exhaust noise, it's loud. If you don't like a powerful sounding vehicles look elsewhere. Otherwise go find one and buy it !!!! i

I have always been a Chevy guy. Till my Chevy caught on fire 2000 miles from home. Needed to replace it in Texas and found this 2005 Dodge Ram quad cab Hemi. Im sure I paid too much for it but I was stuck and needed to tow my trailer cross country. The 5.7 Hemi with over 200 K pulled that trailer like it wasnt even there. What a BEAR this thing is for towing. Interior very nice and roomy. I slept in the back seat comfortably. Steering rack had been replaced at 150K so thats excellent. With 240K on it now, I have only had to do maintenance like brakes and ball joints. Only complaint Ive had is the drivers seat material is very week and falling apart. I highly recommend this Hemi Ram thats for sure.

Only problem iam having is the power steering is spraying all over my engine and can't find the leak because it's all soaked and it's a small block so ia guessing a 318 or maybe a 360 throttle body I think tiny extended cab can't sit behind it it's a shorted 4speed with granny 16 inch wheels with stock beautyrings just got it so don't no much yet it's clean want to trade for motorcycle

Only thing that cause a slight issue is the touch screen on radio doesn’t respond to anything. Changes must be made manually not a huge deal though
