Keeping in mind this is a 1 ton rated truck wich means it will be a little rougher ride due to heavy duty suspension. This truck has all the power I need sporting the 6cyl 6.7 Cummins, also the cab is very spacious as a crew cab.

Best diesel built. Cummins dependable, easily upgraded. Large, comfortable 4 door cab, console folds to seat 3 in front and back. Lots of storage. Great pulling (3.73 gear) and fuel mileage ( up to 20 mpg) cruising. Typically run 400,000 miles with reg. maintenance.

I have several vehicles including a 911 Cab, new Volvo S90 and Infiniti Q60 but I look forward to driving my Ram 3500 the most. I bought it to tow a 38 foot boat a couple of times a year but have ended up using it for so much more, its 8' bed and huge interior provide a load of room for whatever you need to move from furniture to hay and straw for our horses. Also love how freakin huge it is. :-) takes up the whole lane

I have owned this vehicle since day 1. It's primary purpose was to haul our #5000 slide in camper. It has done the job well and given us many carefree miles with trips down and up the west coast and clear across the country to our new home. Did have to upgrade the automatic transmission after a trip down Hwy 1 PCH. Too many hairpin turns hauling very heavy. Otherwise just normal maintenance.

Bought this truck brand new and its been amazing! But there are faults the backseat in the Q-cab which was the biggest you could get, is cramped and small for our kids while on camping holidays with our 36 foot fifth wheel. Pulling the trailer is another thing, it wont go past 70mph and up a hill past 40mph in 4th gear. It only has 175hp(when it was new) and 450lb-ft of torque and it feels so slow. But all things aside, its great. It doesn't do towing our fifth wheel anymore since we got a 2012 ram 2500 Laramie for that and now this truck is a work truck around the acreage and is perfect. But it has been extremely reliable. When I got the Cummins in '87 I was sold its better than Dmax and Powerstroke. It's tow rating was about 12-15,000lbs and I do about 20,000lbs doing many hay bails hooked up to a very heavy gooseneck trailer and travels about 5 miles going 30mph and it feels fine. In winter the DRW's suck in snow since it is a dually, thats why I opted for the 2500. So cramped interior, a bit on the cheap side, slow, plain, looks great, very reliable, tows excellent at low speeds, sounds great, bulletproof 5.9, and the best truck I've owned. The crew cab is smaller than today's crew cabs, but the power is there to get the job done. The interior and exterior styling is ok. Everything is under the hood. The 6.7L Cummins is a beast and tows like a dream.

'95 3500 Ram SLT Ext Cab Dually, cummins' 5.9 diesel, 5 speed manual. SLT was the top of the line in '95, we added Kelderman Air Suspension for towing. It has performed on every tasked we have asked of it. It is a truck, as such, it handles like one. It has spent it's life on the highway running 55mph for the most part, towing or hauling. At 205 thousand miles it still has 200 thousand left in her. Only major repairs has been to replace the starter and radiator. Looking forward to purchasing a 2010 Ram Dually diesel. The '95? It's a keeper, it has given us too many fun miles to be put out to pasture.

This is the first gas engine truck that I have owned for hauling horses and it hauls like a champ. I expected the truck to struggle a little when starting from a stop when fully loaded but was pleasantly surprised.
