bought this truck an found it to be very reliable i don't understand the one hate comment on it they probably don't take good care of it but overall the trucks worth it an i plan on keeping it an giving it to a family member once i die its got over 213,477 thousand miles on it, its getting 25 miles per gallon its 4x4 five speed automatic but i want to switch it to manual an same thing for the 4x4 nob love the upper center console computer i would get the higher end radio head to be honest but imma keep it original its got the 4.7 liter flex fuel v8 in it i can fit six in the cab though i wish it had a long bed instead of a short bed though i need to replace the front axles the grind in four wheel drive when i steer to the left an replace all the tyres

When I asked the cashier what some of the inspection colors meant, she had no idea and wasn't interested in helping me find out either. Other than that everything was wonderful, I got my oil changed.

Great truck had several accidents in it worse was at 60 -70 on hiway i hit the concrete devider. Only bent bumper in a lil. I had to pull out the bump a lil so wheel wouldnt rub. Still drive like a champ.

2000 Dodge Ram 2500 review
Purchased mine new in September 1999 and I still have it in 2023. Sure things break but I’ve never been stranded and it has been nearly 24 years so I can’t complain. Drawbacks for the model are the plastic used in the dash cracked a few years ago. Other repairs included the computer failing (under warranty many years ago but the mechanical backup got me to the dealership for repairs), my injection pump failed last year along with the replacement fuel pump. I upgraded the steering so it isn’t so sloppy. Oh, the heater core leaks a little but StopLeak fixed that although I may replace the heater core and the dash while I’m at it. I sometimes wonder if the world will run out of petroleum before my truck wears out.

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 review
I have always been a Chevy guy. Till my Chevy caught on fire 2000 miles from home. Needed to replace it in Texas and found this 2005 Dodge Ram quad cab Hemi. Im sure I paid too much for it but I was stuck and needed to tow my trailer cross country. The 5.7 Hemi with over 200 K pulled that trailer like it wasnt even there. What a BEAR this thing is for towing. Interior very nice and roomy. I slept in the back seat comfortably. Steering rack had been replaced at 150K so thats excellent. With 240K on it now, I have only had to do maintenance like brakes and ball joints. Only complaint Ive had is the drivers seat material is very week and falling apart. I highly recommend this Hemi Ram thats for sure.

I have 411,988 miles in my 2005 dodge ram Laramie 4x4 6 speed Cummins diesel.. For an 05 it’s unusually loaded… power leather heated seats factory moonroof factory blue tooth navigation … I don’t know of any option not ordered. This truck runs and drives absolutely amazingly. Only second clutch second set of injectors.Original fuel delivery offers no issues … I service myself with only the best OEM or better parts .Custom dual exhaust sounds awesome…Id drive it anywhere anytime.Have 411k in this and 352k on my 2004 Hemi ram…. I call them my Semi and my Hemi…750,000 miles between the 2 and both original drivetrains…. Love it when people say Japanese cars are the best… I say look at my 2 Dodge odometers!!!

1998 Dodge Ram 1500 review
I purchased my truck in 2005, had 92,000 miles on it. Still driving it today with 253,000 miles on it. Doesn't use any oil between changes. I have all the scheduled maintenance done when it's time. I live in Arkansas, wouldn't be afraid to get in my Dodge and drive to New York in it. The only complaint I have is that the dash is starting to crack really back and pieces of it is falling out. I love this truck!

I came to Hastings Chrysler to look at a used car that I had seen online. I texted with Logan a couple of times before arriving and expected that he would have the car ready for a test drive. When I got there, we did not get out of the lot before I noticed that oil light was on. We checked the oil and it was just a little bit low so we decided to take the car for a short driver. I barely got out of the lot before I heard a noise in the front end and felt significant vibration. I did not feel safe taking it further, so we just went around the block and returned. I understand this was an "as is" trade in that was not going to be repaired and was priced accordingly but I believe someone should have driven it before hand to be sure it was at least safe to drive. The second car we drove was much better and we went for a nice test drive, getting to try the car in town, highway and country road driving. I really liked the car but wanted to keep looking so did not make any commitment to buy. Logan introduced me to the used car manager and I got his card. After looking at a couple of other cars at other places, I decided to make an offer on the second car I had driven, a 2011 Subaru Outback. I left a message for Logan on my lunch break, he called me back when I was unavailable at work. I returned his call but did not hear back the next day. After a couple of more days, I called Logan again but got his voice mail and did not hear back. The next day I called and spoke to him and found that the car had been sold. I was disappointed but understand as I had made no commitment. Overall, I think your dealership is o.k. but I would recommend that you train all of your sales people to inspect and take a brief test drive of any vehicle they may have inquiries on.
1998 Dodge Ram 1500 review
I bought this 1998 ram 1500 ext cab 4 years ago from a neighbor because he could not keep it running. Paid 500.00 before even opening the hood. ? I've always been a back yard wrenger, check the abveois, I tightened both battery post clamps and it's ran great ever since besides the few regular maintenance issues. Heater sucks especially if you live in ND as I do, today's temp -18 w/wind-chill. If you are mechanically inclined and the top dash has cracked to ugliness download app for TEMU and get one for around 50.00. good luck and for sale for the rite money NOT 500.09

2003 Dodge Ram 3500 review
Mine is a big black Ram 3500 2WD hemi engine, purchased new in 2003. Only two mechanical problems since I bouight it: (1) right front wheel bearing failure at only 20,000 miles and (2) partial wiring harness replacement around 115,000 miles. This truck is a real beast of burden. My long bed is rated at 4,900 lbs carrying capacity, but I have over-loaded it to at l3ast 6,000 lbs with no negative results, Pulling capacity also I have overloaded up to 25,000 lbs with no negative results. Under load like this, it rides even smoother and does not seem to notice the loads of granite monuments we hauled in it. The truck is as comfortable as an automobile--smooth, right-on steering, and great acceleration. At 160,000 miles, I like the truck so much that I am paying a body shop to renovate it with all new fenders, hood, and tailgate, total new paint job, new wheel covers to make it look like new since it still drives like new. $15,000 may seem excessive to some, but when you figure that this same truck new today is around $85,000, it makes sense to me, especially since I prefer older technology over the new digitalized electronics on new vehicles. We change oil every 3,000 miles and change all the filters every time. The engine still runs like new. One problem with this model is the dashboard. The thick plastic used for the dashboard began cracking at around three years, and continued until the upper portion of the dashboard was totally in pieces. Dodge refused to stand by this obvious defect, and wanted over $2,000 to make it right. However, for a few hundred dollars, my body shop has found a hard plastic (hopefully good plastic) cover that is supposed to look like new. Toyota always stands by any such defects, so U.S. companies have lots to learn about satisfying customers in taking care of their own obvious mistakes. The other problem is that the clearcoat over the black paint job has oxidized and turned white as seems to happen with lots of older U.S. cars--why I have no idea. Dodge and just about all the U.S. car companies need to find out how Toyota paints cars so the paint job lasts for the lifetime of the card. Drive through any large shopping center parking lot and notice which cars are showing faded paint, and you will see what I mean. 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 review
2014 eco diesel Laramie longhorn 4x4. Best truck I’ve ever owned by far! The interior is awesome and huge! The toolboxes are incredibly useful. The seats are heated and cooled, as well as the steering wheel! It’s just an awesome truck!!
