I bought this truck brand NEW, I now have 362,000 miles on her and she is still running great. My only repairs were a shaft in the transfer case and new bushings in the rear suspension. . I am planning on replacing the front struts and I am thinking about 3/4 ton leaf springs. Why ? Because the truck is used as a truck not a family sedan. But I can see why people use it as a family sedan. Rides like one. . I will never sell this truck. Best truck I ever owned ! Thank you Diamler Chrysler. Awesome truck.

Great leg room with plenty of features to accommodate to the new era, despite it being 13 years old. Will do any job necessary and have no problems along the way. I have traveled long and far with my vehicle and had minimal problems with it.

Best diesel built. Cummins dependable, easily upgraded. Large, comfortable 4 door cab, console folds to seat 3 in front and back. Lots of storage. Great pulling (3.73 gear) and fuel mileage ( up to 20 mpg) cruising. Typically run 400,000 miles with reg. maintenance.

I have 411,988 miles in my 2005 dodge ram Laramie 4x4 6 speed Cummins diesel.. For an 05 it’s unusually loaded… power leather heated seats factory moonroof factory blue tooth navigation … I don’t know of any option not ordered. This truck runs and drives absolutely amazingly. Only second clutch second set of injectors.Original fuel delivery offers no issues … I service myself with only the best OEM or better parts .Custom dual exhaust sounds awesome…Id drive it anywhere anytime.Have 411k in this and 352k on my 2004 Hemi ram…. I call them my Semi and my Hemi…750,000 miles between the 2 and both original drivetrains…. Love it when people say Japanese cars are the best… I say look at my 2 Dodge odometers!!!

I love this truck. I would never sell it or buy another truck if I haddent just been ripped off by NEXO for all of my retirement. I will buy another one soon.

I’ve had this truck for about half a year now and so far no issues, the rust can be kind of a xxxxx, And it likes to gobble fuel I do not recommend letting this truck sitting idle, not good for the cams Overall it’s very comfortable it drives like a ghost, I will buy dodge for the rest of my life

No joke they literally returned $700 to me due to an error my lender made that I nor my lender would have ever noticed had they not brought it to my attention. Prior to the sale they also delivered the car to my choice inspection shop 10 mins away with no hassle, then covered the one issue found prior to the sale. I negotiate for a living and know my way around a car so I was ready for some serious haggling but the entire process was no xx. The price out the gate was more than fair, the car was in proper condition and they addressed every single one of my concerns promptly for over a week via messenger, texting, email and phone. Almost 200,000 miles so almost everthing has been rebuilt or replaced but the engine and computer. I bought it new and still drive daily for work. It pulls our 24 ft. Boat with ease.

We had a nice conversation and I took the truck for a test drive, by myself, which was very nice! In the end I am still thinking about it only because I'm the type of person that needs to look at a few different vehicles before I make up my mind. I’ve owned my early 2002 since 2007, I say early cause they changed body style and fuel rail mid year.. I have the 24v extended cab with the 6 speed manual and the long bed dually. And I have had zero issues with it, I bought a topper last year that conformed to the body lines and fit the perfectly.. when I drive it she looks awesome going down the road..

Bought 2006 Ram SLT 4x4. Still own it. 246k miles. Standard maintenance, shocks, struts, power steering pump. Little rust required. Truck is more than most can expect. I wanted a truck that would last and give good service.

Okay, gas mileage.....meh. But it's a truck. I bought my 99% rust free truck from a dealership in Chesapeake VA. I live in Philadelphia so I bought it with no test drive. I'll never do that again. Over paid. It was so clean in the pics, I just assumed it was perfect. 1200 in parts later I very happy with my 2000 Ram. Did I over pay... Yes. But I love it. I always wanted one. The movie Twister, and Walker Texas Ranger I'd watch just for the truck. But if your looking for a good reliable truck that won't break the bank, this is it.

Solid truck with plenty of power and heft. Dependable and always came through no matter what I asked of it.

Purchased used for $1500 to using as a fishing truck about a decade ago, but we can’t kill it! About to roll 200,000 miles and haven’t spent a dime on anything more than routine maintenance. Heater is weak, A/C is strong, and the seats are as comfortable as any truck. The V-6 isn’t strong but gets respectable fuel mileage. Best served with a manual transmission.

This is my second purchase from Ideal. Found a 2010 Ford Explorer on their website. It was still in the process of title being passed to them. Waited and checked back with them 2 weeks later. I was able to get a chance to drive it and took it on the freeway. This time I requested financing which they carried out quickly and provided me with a very low finance rate. Yes, they did add for putting the auto in "ready" condition. My auto had just come out of auction which required cleaning and checking to make sure it was servisable. Want a bulletproof truck? Don't just pick one from the dealership lot, special order one, or find one like mine, with all the available heavy duty options including V-8, 5-speed manual, four-wheel drive, limited-slip differential, 3/4 ton springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, larger brakes, four-wheel ABS, tow hitch with 6,000lb rating, oversized tow mirrors, heavy duty cooling and electrical package, anti-roll bars front and rear, extended cab, contractor's rack, etc. And then drive it 200,000 miles with minimal servicing other than the usual oil and coolant changes, etc. Styling wise, this second-generation Dakota has classic truck lines, lots of analog instruments, bed large enough to hold 4x8 plywood, comfortable front seats with a fold-up armrest, and SIX seat belts (back seat primarily for kids and dogs), nice steering wheel. Performance wise, it's narrower than a Ram so parks easier, but same length so has a stable, long wheelbase, lots of torque, purrs along on cruise control. Anything missing? Would be nice to have more controls on the steering wheel, better designed dash board.

I purchased my truck new on Dec 31, 2002. It is an 03 crew cab, short box, Cummins HO, 6 speed manual. I still own it today with 315,000 miles very few repairs, oil change every 5K, 3 front end rebuilds, one water pump, a fan clutch, a new drivers seat pad and bottom cover, and a steering gear box. Surprisingly enough, I still have factory injectors. Absolutely the best truck I have ever owned BY FAR. Still gets up to 27 MPG and can pull just about anything you hook onto it. still looks new inside and out. I recently converted it to a dually to make it even more stable pulling my fifth wheel. Seems to be worth more today than what I paid for it 20 years ago.
