I have purchased over 40 cars in the last 20 years and today's deal at VW of LaVista was without a doubt the smoothest and most enjoyable experience that I can remember. I enjoy the car buying game and I can tell you with their transparent pricing policy there were no opportunities for any games. The listed price is the price and there aren't any added fees after the fact, not even a doc fee. I'm sure it is built in to the price, but knowing what you will spend up front is a breath of fresh air. I worked with Michael Cain and Darren Plants. They both were awesome, knowledgeable and very professional. I got a fair trade-in value and felt great about the purchase of a 2023 Arteon SEL Premium R-Line. I highly recommend the LaVista Baxter VW dealership. I will admit I did not have the same experience at the Omaha Baxter VW dealership a couple days ago.

There is really no other vehicle like this on the road. It’s ride quality is great. It’s quiet, fast and off-road capable. The interior design of the cabin is excellent and tasteful. It’s the epitome of form plus functionality.

BMW onyx of Omaha service department is phenomenal. Chris Elizondo has been my service advisor for 2 years now. He has hone above and beyond not only to advise me and help me with service of my BMW, but to make sure the treatment I received was impeccable. I have been a loyal customer of BMW for a very long time now and it is because of the service you receive there. Chris perfectly embodies this. He is very knowledgeable and has your best interest at heart. He has been so good with me over the years, that I even ask his advice regarding other cars(classic cars). I am planning to buy yet my 4th BMW, solely because of the service from Chris and his whole team. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. The service is beyond exceptional!! George

As a BMW driver for decades (318i, 328i), I reluctantly switched to Tesla when the Model S became the first practical EV. I wanted to drive electric more than I wanted to be loyal to (IMHO) the best line of sedans and coupes on the planet. I loved the S, too, but after 12 years it was having problems, support was rotten, and it was time for a replacement. Fortunately, all the manufacturers have EVs now. Although I test drove several other makes, I was delighted to see that the BMW i4 was my favorite. When it started to look like tariffs were going to increase prices, I abbreviated my search and went for the Bimmer. By chance, the dealer had a 2024 shop loaner available with low mileage and a lower price than a brand new 2025 so I leased it. (Incidentally, it was less expensive in absolute dollars than the Model S was in 2012!) I'm glad I "pulled the trigger" when I did and I love the car. Handling is excellent. It "feels like" a BMW despite slightly lighter steering than my last 328. It's feature-rich and I'm still learning the ancillary controls. I'm OK with CarPlay although Tesla's own infotainment system is better. The driver assist is good and automatic stop/start in heavy traffic is a joy although I still prefer steering myself under better conditions. I think most BMW drivers will feel likewise. I haven't used self-parking other than a demo in the dealer's lot but I promise to try it. I don't expect to need a lot of service - it's an EV - but at least BMW takes phone calls! The cell phone app is better than Tesla's and it's NOT the only way to schedule service. My only real objection is the location of the charge port at right-rear which will make it awkward to use short-corded Tesla Superchargers even once BMW concludes a deal with Tesla. The i4 has more "hard" controls - which I prefer for eyes-on-the-road driving - than Model S but its voice recognition commands are more limited. Its navigator has the same voice as Model S but gives more frequent bum steers. All in all, I'm very glad I made the switch. And I didn't give money to the Little Dictator who works for the Big Dictator!

Today I walked in and was greeted by Mike at the front desk. He was really helpful, and walked me through the approval process which i have no experience with. He was really friendly and answered all of my questions. I left with a new car about an hour later. Im kind of in shock at how well this went. It was quick, easy and he was really friendly. I am in the market soon for a used Nissan Leaf i have checked out how i can refurbish the battery packs over time and slowly bring back the range spending 200 a month buying the refurbished battery packs on ebay for 50 bucks each .. 4 a month and in a year you will have a brand new battery for a lot less than dealers or repair shops will charge you.. it is something YOU can do with a volt meter and a wrench ..

Purchased a new 150 no rush or pressure a great place to buy a car

The car is a floating couch it’s so comfy! The tech is so cool and the big screen gets compliments all the time. Once you get use to its little quirks it’s an awesome car. I wish it charged a little quicker had better speakers and was a little more powerful but those three are fair trade offs for the value and comfort. Looks super cool too my nephew calls it a space car haha.. Good job Chevy!

This would be my 2nd car I bought from Baxter VW, after my first car had been totaled. I got in touch with Luke Andrew, who was very friendly and knowledgeable on the GTIs and helped me find what I wanted in less than a week. A few weeks after taking home my new car, he sent me a thank you card talking about how much he loved the GTIs and that he hopes I was enjoying it. I would highly recommend both Baxter VW and Luke Andrew!!

I bought this and have no complaints. It is a solid ride, super fast and fun to drive. It is very futuristic and I think it will hold its value mostly because there will be few sold due to tariffs and trumps anti EV stance. If VW could sell the cargo version in the US, there would be a million on our roads within a couple of years. I love my ID Buzz and am excited to drive spending less than $1.00 to go 30 miles.

1 month in and really enjoying the car. Very comfortable and quiet. The ride is smooth and pretty responsive for a true 3 rom suv. Charging has been easy and can use any fast charging stations. Home charge is very easy. Set the time, plug it in and all charged by morning. The range is holding pretty true. Using air-conditioning and cooling seats on the highway will drop the estimated range but I still did 270 miles I am 6'5" and I can fit in the 3rd row and have someone my size in front of me. The electronics are all their and using the auto hold a lot.

Set up a test drive, car was ready and running for us. They let us drive it by ourselves. We were gone for about 45 minutes, no problem. Salesman answered all our questions , no pressure. Go visit for yourself, we had a great experience.

Excellent commercial van. This version only has the 120 mile distance range, but I never drive over 100 miles daily on my routes and it recharges easily overnight. Freaking fast van to be so heavy compared to my gas versions.

For the past month in a half I have spent my entire free time car shopping at just about every dealership in town and sat in every small and mid-size SUV there is. I told him what I was looking for in an SUV and with the help of his manager and general manager, Don Vitito, they were able to find me my perfect car with everything I was looking for and more, all within my budget. Don't understand the earlier review - liked the car but only gave it a 1 rating overall??? I LOVE this car, 5 rating overall. Just purchased a month ago, so cannot rate reliability yet. However, comfort and performance are stellar. With a 300+ mile full range, you cannot be too concerned about finding a charging station. Just do a little planning. Everything well designed. You do need to figure out all the bells and whistles though. Manual was written by someone whose first language is not English.

We have purchased vehicles from here before and when it came time to buy another vehicle, we came back to Woodhouse in Blair because the sales rep and everyone here is very professional, friendly and helpful.
