This car has been the best I’ve owned so far. Even if you aren’t looking at a Tesla, EVs in general are so much fun! I’ve had little maintenance in the three years I’ve had this car so far (tire rotations, wiper blades). Every major software update brings either new features or improvements.

2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD I purchased this car with a little less than 60k miles one and a half years ago for 21k. It now as 97k miles and the only maintenance I’ve done have been new tires and windshield washer fluid. Someone made a left turn in front of me and the car was already braking as I was lifting my foot off the accelerator. Quite literally saved my life. The suspension is tuned to be sporty, so it’s not a plush ride by any means, but it’s hard to beat at its price point in the used market.

This is our second Mach-E purchase. Our first was a 2021. We chose to sell it and get a 2025 Mach-E Premium. The 2025 gets revised suspension that is so much better than the previous years, which was bouncy. You can also now get the premium without the glass roof. I do not like the glass roof, so getting the premium features without it is great! Excellent power, comfort and features at a pretty good price. Love the style, too!

Allen and Jesse were awesome in helping us get our new truck! Going into it, we sort of knew what we were wanting but hadn't had a chance to test drive any of the trucks we were interested in. We came in pretty late and Allen was nice enough to get us out on a test drive right up to closing time. Then both Allen and Jesse sat down with us to explain pricing and what we would be looking at in terms of a myriad of payment options without being pushy, which we appreciated, and we went through our needs for a truck to make sure we were getting exactly what we needed for our farm. Overall, they took great care of us and we are happy with our new truck!

I recently wrote an honest review regarding our negative experience. Within a day of the review a manager of the dealership called and said they wanted to repair the problem. They did end up repairing at no cost to us and also gave us another truck to drive while they had ours. The door and door locks now work perfectly and we appreciate their effort to make it right. I was unable to remove or edit my previous review, so wanted to be sure to leave another to share that they did end up correcting the problem. We are pleased.

1 month in and really enjoying the car. Very comfortable and quiet. The ride is smooth and pretty responsive for a true 3 rom suv. Charging has been easy and can use any fast charging stations. Home charge is very easy. Set the time, plug it in and all charged by morning. The range is holding pretty true. Using air-conditioning and cooling seats on the highway will drop the estimated range but I still did 270 miles I am 6'5" and I can fit in the 3rd row and have someone my size in front of me. The electronics are all their and using the auto hold a lot.

Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years Owning three Chevy Bolt EVs has been one of the smartest financial and practical decisions we’ve made. Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. Multiply that by 3 cars and a full year, and the numbers quickly add up. Maintenance Savings Beyond the fuel savings, the Bolt EVs don’t need oil changes, transmission services, or exhaust system repairs. Brake wear is minimal thanks to regenerative braking. For us, the maintenance costs dropped to little more than tire rotations (free at Discount Tire), washer fluid and cabin air filters. Admittedly, have not had this vehicle for very long, but I am very impressed. And I am difficult to impress. Previous vehicle was an ‘18 RAM 1500 with V8 Hemi. It was fun, powerful, loud, and I enjoyed sitting up high. Two weeks in the Ariya, and I don’t miss it. I have the AWD version, and this thing moves at the frequency I think. I mean, you see a space in traffic you want to get to, check blind spots and BAM, you’re there. Handling is crisp and tight, remaining so at highway speeds. Bumps handled like a luxury mobile of 2X the cost. Cabin is quiet, spacious, and does not feel cheap. Tons of features, power everything. Screen bootup is rapid and has my tunes going by the time I’m buckled in and have my glasses switched to my sunglasses. Heads up display tells everything I need, and well positioned. Charging so far has not been an issue in the least. Installed a ChargePoint charger in my garage, and it’s easily setup and controlled through their app, so it charges on schedule according to my utility provider’s preferred charge time, giving me a break on the electricity used to charge it. All told, I’ve spent $6 over 2 weeks and 500 miles. Truck would have cost me a tank, or 30 gallons of gas for same distance.

Don't understand the earlier review - liked the car but only gave it a 1 rating overall??? I LOVE this car, 5 rating overall. Just purchased a month ago, so cannot rate reliability yet. However, comfort and performance are stellar. With a 300+ mile full range, you cannot be too concerned about finding a charging station. Just do a little planning. Everything well designed. You do need to figure out all the bells and whistles though. Manual was written by someone whose first language is not English.

My Ioniq 6 is the base SE model with front wheel drive only. This model has all the bells and whistles you need and the more expensive models have a number of cosmetic additions. Stylishly this car is a major improvement over earlier Hyundai models. There is some disagreement over the rear spoiler. Personally, I like the light show in the spoiler although I seldom see it since I'm driving. The seams on the car are a good tight fit with the possible exception of the front hood. The front trunk, or "funk," is useless which is a little hard to explain. If you look under it you notice a fairly empty space with a lot of wires. Reports are that the back trunk is small but I think the problem is its height and not depth. This is a slightly larger car than the Prius. The back seat has an impressive amount of room and if you lay down those seats you have quite a lot of trunk space but no back seat passengers. Performance is very good. In fact, the acceleration is astounding laying to rest the myth that EVs take a lot of time to accelerate. The electric motor apparently provides the same amount of torque at any speed unlike a gas engine. The amount of regenerative breaking is adjustable from the paddles on the steering wheel. I keep it at the highest setting and the car will break slightly when you take your foot off the accelerator. This takes some getting used to if you use this setting. Also, the car will keep moving slowly so you eventually have to break. At times the wheel seems to have a mind of its own. On a bumpy road with many turns the wheel seems to want to go where I don't. This brings me to an interesting feature. On cruise control with the lane keep assist and that line showing between the lanes on the monitor (see owners manual) the car us essentially self-driving as long as it can read the lane lines, You can take your hands off the steering wheel but if you do the car will reprimand you tell you to hold the wheel. The steering wheel is large and blocks the information on the lower part of the monitor. The blind spot monitor is very good and it will warn you on the exterior mirrors and the monitor in front of you. If a collision is possible the wheel will vibrate. The radar seems more sensitive than my other car so you get warning even when you still have plenty of room. The GPS has a lot of information, but I found it off by miles on certain sites. This car is very quiet. Much quieter than my plug-in hybrid. There is a slight whirring noise on acceleration and deceleration. When I drive near a pedestrian they seem surprised that a car is near them so be careful. I charged the car on a level 2 charger from 10% to 100% in 7 hours which I consider to be very good. The range is about 280 miles depending on temperature and type of driving. The car will notify you when the charge is down to 20% and it will tell you where the charge stations are. I would like to have a rear window wiper but this seems to have been eliminated on most cars. The rear defrost has done a good job of clearing this window so far. Visibility all around is very good. I would like it if the radio and past trip presets had a larger number visible. My other car goes up to 100. I'm not technically savvy and it will take me time to learn how to use all the features on this car. The owner's manual is large. One thing which may or may not be an issue is that I had difficulty turning the car off once. It appears that if you leave your foot on the break when turning it off the car may be getting a mixed signal to start and stop. Placing it in park first and taking your foot off the break seems to solve this. Finally, I notice in reviews on this site that the major negative response is that people think this car is expensive for what you get. I would expect to pay in the high $40,000 for an EV loaded with these features. I paid less than $10,000 under that.

I dropped my car off with a dead battery. I had no appointment. The service rep was very nice, I received an estimate by phone, then picked my car up the same afternoon. It is running just fine now. I bought my hybrid Accord at Germaine Honda and have enjoyed great service support.

My Mach E is twice as quiet as my Model 3 was and much smoother. The road noise is quieted by a stiff composite felt used for the wheel wells. It is roomer and larger than a Tesla for less price. I love the controls and screens so much more than the Tesla as they are similar to most cars.

Dan in the service dept is super friendly and helpful, goes above and beyond. Appreciate is helpfulness.

The vehicle is good in all categories. Which makes it great overall value. There are only 2 things I do not like. The Black card that does not consistently work to unlock the driver side door. The light option under the rear tailgate to unlock trunk with your foot. Otherwise I would of rated this SUV a 5 star vehicle.

Germain Ford sent a technician to my home to verify a recall did not present any problem on my 2014 F150 Lariat 4X4. The technician was prompt, courteous and thorough checking the sensors at the heart of the recall and installing updates to the software. What was really impressive was that this was during the 13” snowstorm. I expected a rescheduled appointment but they stayed on schedule, unusual nowadays, good business 👍
