This is the most ridiculous vehicle that I've ever owned by a wide margin, and while you can find a car that beats it in one category, taken as a whole, there is no close second for this Swiss Army Knife truck. You can take your lady to a black tie event in style, then load it up for some serious offroading and camping deep in the backcountry. My son's favorite feature is how it handles off-road, despite the modest tires; we often pass bigger traditional ICE off-road vehicles. If you are looking for a commuter, there are better value luxury EVs, but if you want one vehicle that does it all well, this is it. As for downsides, the top of my list is the servicing model. As a small company, you need to schedule far out. No calling to get a same-day or same-week service appt. like a legacy company with multiple local dealers to choose from. Luckily EVs in general don't need to go into the shop often.

I purchased a used Genesis GV70 Electrified and worked with Michael Baldwin. I knew the car I wanted and Michael was easy to work with. He let me check the car out at my own pace and didn't try to hype it. I contacted Michael over a week after the sale inquiring about title and he quickly got me the information. My experience with Michael has been fantastic. The only complaint I have is about the dealership adding a $695 fee for some cheesey paint and interior treatment that are either non existent or the most inferior products ever. I washed the car after getting home from a 2 day road trip and there is no hydrophobic property at all, no feel of a smoothness that one would expect if a paint treatment was actually applied. I have experience with numerous paint protection treatments and ceramic coatings and this was not worth $95 much less the ridiculous $695. For that money I expect to get something, go get a bottle of DIY Detail Quick Beads so there is at least an appearance of something useful on the paint.

We first leased a 2024 Polestar 2 and really enjoyed it. Then we were in a significant crash where the vehicle at fault was much larger. We walked away unscathed and the Polestar did an incredible job keeping us safe. It's built on a Volvo frame, and the car felt absolutely solid during the crash. The other car had significantly more damage and fortunately the drivers were ok. We ended up purchasing a used Polestar after the crash and are really happy with it. Smooth ride, feels very tight and handles well. Yes, the interior shows dirt a bit but love that Polestar is incorporating recycled materials in the interiors. It's really a joy to drive and is a steal, given that it's cheaper than a Volvo, while sharing many Volvo components and frame. No mechanical issues for either the first or second Polestar.

I’ve had my M3P for 5 days and I freaking love it! Controls take some time to get used to where everything is. I’ve had maybe 30 cars and this is my favorite by far. I highly recommend if you’re in the fence, just buy one. You only live once!

This car has been the best I’ve owned so far. Even if you aren’t looking at a Tesla, EVs in general are so much fun! I’ve had little maintenance in the three years I’ve had this car so far (tire rotations, wiper blades). Every major software update brings either new features or improvements.

Long range AWD FSD ( great on long trips) I got white seats and am so glad. Really brightens the interior and they have been easy to care for. Battery lost range faster than my older Model 3 but it’s still around 295 after ~70k mi. Great in the snow but a bit more ground clearance would help. Cracked windshield was repaired by Tesla and cost about $1000 less than Safelight. No other issues except for CEO

Got the 2023 standards model 3 and it far exceeds any other car, especially ICE. Every single car I will own from here on out will be a Tesla. The other ev brands can't compete. Will also get the Rivian R1S, that is the only other brand I would consider. Don't buy an EV from a company that also makes gas cars unless you like throwing away $.

My bad part is yes it took a while inside for me but again I was asking for a lot and besides the car smoke smell that I'm treating today. I can't say there wasn't no negative side. Shout out to Emily and the guys up in the box that worked over 2 hours to make sure that I was leaving happy and got what I asked for. Amazing car. Was able to easily fit 300 square foot of laminate wood flooring inside with the seats folded flat. I'm going to glamp in this thing. I'm going to commute in Los Angeles, take my sister's dogs around - you name it. This thing is going to get a little dirty, hah. I'm happy it has a tow hitch as an option and roof rails available. The frunk and back trunk having storage (under the flat lift boot cover in the back) are just great for shopping and carrying around smaller items. I like that the 2023s still have the stalks because my wife and I tried the 24' Model 3 without, and we don't prefer that experience just yet. This is the best, most efficient, utilitarian, and sharp looking vehicle on the market. My only feedback is the paint could be better. I think they have the fit issues with the body panels down, and the sound dampening is a ton better in the 23's with the extra carpet that they add in the back and on the sides of the vehicle. I think to address the management of the company, Tesla is a big company. The recent Supercharger team layoffs were disappointing to hear in terms of how it was handled. However, I am excited by the prospect that the U.S.A. will have the North American Charging Standard, (NACS), as the single charging standard for Electric Vehicles going forward. NACS is much more elegant than J1772 and DCFC handles, as is the typical Supercharger location and experience. Do yourself a favor and buy into the vertically integrated EV experience with Tesla and don't worry about the public charging infrastructure that others have to deal with. That'll just be your backup option if the lines are too long at the Superchargers, or if you want a better charging rate in some rare contexts. What do I think about the CEO? I don't think about him really too much... the car speaks for itself.

Very nice and stable car to drive Interface nice and easy to use. Much more quality feel than my Tesla model S 2016. Only bad thing was depreciation so luckily I did not buy it brand new it had 4K miles on it so only dropped a lot.

Unbelievable car!!! 2023 Tesla Y (Long Range 19") and my wife fully agrees. Where do I begin? Value! Crazy good, purchased Sept 2023, will end up costing about 44k after 7500 tax credit, now factor in another 10k (at least) saved over gas over the next 5 plus years and my cost will drop to about 34k?? For this car???! Seriously, at 9 cents a kilowatt hour, (FL) to charge this thing in my garage overnight (charge rate is 30 miles in just an hour) only costs about $7.50 worth of electricity for about 315 miles range. What?? We've had this for 7 months and about 18k miles and have spent only about a buck or two on windshield washer fluid so that's it on maintenance costs. What a PLEASURE not having to deal with dealerships and oil changes that take a half a day of hassle. Teslas service (and app) is excellent. I've read the motors (dual) can go 1 million miles and the battery 300-500 k miles. I plan on doing 200k miles on this car. Range anxiety? None for me, basically I can drive about 3 complete hours of driving per day on a charge. Waking up every day with 3 hours worth of driving and skipping gas stations with 35 dollar fill-ups (we have a Prius with 300k miles) is wonderful. Teslas supercharger network is everywhere. I've never seen a station that did not work or a line that kept me waiting more than 5 minutes. I never realized, until I owned a Tesla, that not having to go to the gas station about once a week (or about 27 times for the past 7 months) erases any inconvenience of having to supercharge because unless you do frequent road trips (more than about 3 hours round trip) you will go months at a time not having to supercharge. (supercharging averages 2.5-3 times the cost for me to charge at home) Your house is technically your gas station! (supercharging averages 2.5-3 times the cost of me charging at home) Performance? basically, this car has about the speed of a 911 and its low center of gravity and handling make it really really fun to drive. Highest safety rating all around and the very good stereo has about 14 speakers (and a subwoofer) that round out some amazing perks usually reserved for much more expensive cars... The software, self driving and navigation is very advanced and not an upcharge if you dont do the full self driving, gorgeous graphics and an intelligent user interface that can be learned as you go along make this car a phenomenal choice. Tesla is WAY ahead on software and basically built this car around their software platform while others are building EVS and struggling with their software and charging systems. Tesla outsells their competition by a very wide margin, for good reasons. The wife and I were about to get either a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav 4 and by some wonderful luck walked past the Tesla store at the mall, 10 minutes later we test drove the y and 3 and literally, before we drove a mile we knew this test drive experience made it clear, we would try this Tesla. 101% happy we did. If you are considering the Tesla, make sure you drive one before making your decision. One last thing, buying direct from Tesla basically means you are getting maybe about 20% more car for a lower price because the middleman dealerships are not cost factored in, and don't believe the negative media coverage. Tesla is bypassing an entire industry and alot of big companies are probably not happy about it. If you really want to know what Tesla ownership is like, ask Tesla owners. My neighbor has a Model 3 with 45k miles, I asked her the other day what she has paid for Maintenace so far and she said "nothing" and LOVES her Tesla. I hear the same from pretty much every Tesla owner I ask. What a car!

The is the FUTURE of automobile transportation! Absolutely FABULOUS car! No more gasoline, no more scheduled maintenance. If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.

I own a 2017 Tesla Model S. It's literally the best car I've ever owned. I have driven it 157,000 miles and haven't done a thing to it except change tires. ZERO maintenance! No more oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, filters, nothing. I haven't even needed new brakes because the car slows it's self down so I rarely even touch the brakes. It cost me $400 to have my electrician put the proper outlet in my garage. I charge from home while I sleep. I am never inconvenienced by having to go to the gas station. No more pumping gas, getting gas on my hands, nothing, dripping down my car. I will NEVER own an ICE engine again. Couldn't be happier and will never go back. If you aren't sure, trust me, you will love every minute of driving this car and you will save money doing it.

I purchased a used 2022 Polestar 2 about 10 months ago. I have a PHEV Honda Clarity and I wanted to go all EV. The Polestar 2 has been a great car to own; it is very low maintenance, comfortable for tall drivers and passengers under 6 ft in height; the over the air updates are good, and we should be getting a NACS adapter in August 2024. I recommend the Polestar 2.

The moment I got the demo car onto the highway, I thought to myself, “I LOVE this car!” Which rarely happens. I test drove both the Model 3 and Model Y in snowy conditions, and had not a single bout of fear that I may lose control. I own a 2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD. It has LFP batteries and I can charge it to 100%. It's degraded about 3% after 15 months, so not too bad on the battery. It's been great, with no problems that were Tesla's fault. A truly great car and highly recommended!

Absolutely love my Tesla. So much so we bought a 2nd one for the family. Smooth drive and zero maintenances in two years. Frequent software updates means I got new features long after purchase. Though I do suggest avoiding FSD. That's vaporware and will not be released in the lifetime of vehicles sold today.

I’ve owned my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Ultimate for about a month now, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. The design immediately stands out with a modern, sculpted look that feels unique on the road. Mine is in Thunder Grey with the Fjord Blue interior, and the combo turns heads everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s quick and quiet with instant torque that makes merging and city driving effortless. The one-pedal drive is smooth once you get used to it, and the all-wheel drive gives me confidence in any weather. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious yet understated. The Fjord Blue interior with backlit panels creates a calm, high-end atmosphere. Google built-in is convenient, though it can lag at times. The Harman Kardon sound system is crisp and full, and the panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel bright and open. For now, I charge at Tesla Superchargers for convenience. A charger was actually installed in my high-rise the day after I bought the car, but it’s not operable yet. I’m looking forward to using it once it’s active. The range has been consistent in real-world use, and I appreciate Volvo’s focus on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or performance. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some software features could be more refined, and visibility through the rear window is limited, but the 360° camera helps a lot. I installed a digital rearview mirror through the Volvo dealer where I purchased my car. Overall, the C40 Recharge feels like a personal luxury cocoon. It’s quiet, confident, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a car that makes me look forward to driving every day.

Hands down the BEST dealership around! The Solon LR/Jag dealership is 2 min from my office and where I got my last car; but after bad customer service experiences there I decided to make the drive to Westside. It is 1000% worth it! The facilities and the people are great! The real star of the show there is their finance manager Jess Schad! I have never had such a great car buying experience, and it’s all thanks to her. She made everything easy and PERFECT! Jess went completely above and beyond in customer service throughout the entire process. I was blown away by her personalized attention at every step. She made both the shopping and the actual purchase not just seamless, but actually enjoyable (I normally dread it)! My uncle is a car-buying and financial guru, and came with me to pick up the car. He said in all of his decades of car buying he hadn’t seen such great service. My wife picked up the top of the line version used a year after it was released for under 40K. We have a level 2 charging system in place at home as we anticipated getting one EV. We immediately did a road trip from Denver, Colorado to upper state New York. I knew enough about EVs to know we'd be taking our time and learning as we went. We had some close calls as new EV owners, but always made it to our next level 3 charging station. We made it through some flooding roads in Chicago and our return trip was even faster as we'd learned much from the drive out. I loved the car so much I found the exact make and model (different color) and bought it six months later for under 30K. I wouldn't recommend anyone else road trip unless you've got time to stop frequently, but I use this daily to and from work as well as local excursions. I've had many vehicles over the last 30+ years and this is the nicest, most intuitive & fast (never leaving Eco Mode). I think the reason many are currently hitting the market and substantially lower prices than that initial $48K is most likely a leasing situation, so take advantage of the prices dropping on these very rewarding EVs.
