I picked up my Polestar 3, single motor long range, less than a month ago on a lease program with lots of incentives. It has been a great car to drive and it does get great range, 350 miles, on a charge. The Jupiter paint is unique and the first of its kind in the Southeast region. Wool blend seats are very comfortable. It has plenty of pick up and handles very well . I am very impressed. As a Volvo owner since 1974, there is a lot of Volvo in the Polestar. The 3 is built in the Volvo Ridgeville, SC plant so there was no tariff worries. I highly recommend this car!

Bought a new Mustang awhile back. Great experience with Edwin Torres. Since then have used their service department for everything including all oil changes and I drive 35 miles each way to do so. Why. The treatment by everyone is 5 star every time. Recently had an issue that was resolved by staff that would have been a nightmare at a corporate owned dealership. Bill Currie cares about their customers, it's not just lip service. Highly recommend them. Sales and service.

2 Years in and no looking back. If you have a driveway and can install a charger, it is an even better experience to bypass gas stations completely.

This car has been the best I’ve owned so far. Even if you aren’t looking at a Tesla, EVs in general are so much fun! I’ve had little maintenance in the three years I’ve had this car so far (tire rotations, wiper blades). Every major software update brings either new features or improvements.

If you want a maintenance-free vehicle, this is the closest thing you can find on the market. We’ve been driving the wheels off our Model 3 LR for almost two years. No gas stations, no oil changes, no fluid changes (unless you count windshield wiper fluid,) tires still have plenty of tread, brakes have barely ever been used (regenerative brakes are amazing,) the temperature in the car is always perfect when you get in, and no turning the car off, simply get out and walk away, the car does the rest. The only service we have done to this car has been tire rotation, and they come to your house to do it if you want! Charging at home means you never, ever have to worry about the state of your “tank” unless you’re on a trip over 350 miles. And then it’s a quick navigation to a supercharger for a few minutes; the car automatically does the math for you and determines the best places to stop along your route. Admittedly, the occasional supercharge on a long trip is the only downside and could be a dealbreaker for some. But we plan accordingly. Plug up the car, walk the dogs or grab a bite to eat. By the time you’re done, the car is ready to go! The loudest voices in the room are always the people that had the rare bad experience, that’s inescapable. Just know that they are the minority. This car has plenty of get up and go whenever you need it and rides smooth. I used to drive muscle cars, so not hearing all that engine noise took a little bit to get used to. But now I don’t miss it at all. In fact, now I’m mildly annoyed when I’m the passenger in a loud car. That’s probably also a sign that I’m getting older. If you’re on the fence about an EV, go take one for a test drive. Tesla doesn’t pressure you, they don’t even ride along with you. It’s just you and the car, so you can see for yourself. That’s all it took for us to bite. I can almost guarantee you’ll want one after you’ve driven around in one for fifteen minutes.

I originally ordered an R1S in Jan 2021 and waited nearly 3.5 years for it to be ready. When they first opened up test drives I nearly canceled my order due to the ride quality of the early builds. However, once it became time to take delivery, the software improvements drastically changed the character of this truck. It honestly sealed the deal given how much better it was, and there was yet another release to address ride quality after delivery which turned this into an extremely comfortable vehicle—on par with the X7, Q7, etc… The air suspension is truly a boon to the capabilities and ride quality as well. Ride quality aside, the performance is unbelievable both in terms of handling and acceleration, especially given the size and weight. On top of that, the ability to go from sport mode and a 3s 0-60 to off road mode with nearly 15” of ground clearance really puts this vehicle in a league of its own. The interior quality is very good, especially compared to Tesla, but not quite luxury-level, though all the details still make it feel special. There are a few rattles here and there, but nothing too out of the ordinary, and all the materials feel nice. Additionally, the range is dead on, and I usually get 2-3 mi/kwh, which is great for a 7000lb suv. In terms of the footprint, the vehicle is both agile and easy to maneuver, yet has tons of interior space and storage. The glass roof really adds to the openness as well, and the heat in the cabin from it hasn’t been bad comparatively. The one gripe I do have is that the suspension is very noisy, and there’s not any remedy for that. Gen 2 is far quieter, but all in all it’s not a deal breaker given how capable and versatile the vehicle is. All the pieces of this vehicle combined really make for such a special package, especially given that they’re still in the early years and not ubiquitous (yet). This is my 9th car and I’ve had many BMWs, a Tesla, and a M-B, yet this one always makes me smile every time I see it and get to drive it. It truly feels like a remarkable machine (and is incredibly fun too).

The moment I got the demo car onto the highway, I thought to myself, “I LOVE this car!” Which rarely happens. I test drove both the Model 3 and Model Y in snowy conditions, and had not a single bout of fear that I may lose control. We have a Ford Fusion since 2017 and it has been fantastic vehicle for us. In past week we had repair done on fixing the electronic security system, connected to the edge of driver door that was not operating correctly. Josh helped me with identifying the issue and also Jack. Veterans Ford did their analysis and tests to get to the root cause with their specialized technicians in the electronics area. We were very concerned as this issue is very critical for us to function correctly. I am so happy that the Ford team at Veterans got it fixed and all is running perfectly again. Because the issue was intermittent it made the challenge even more difficult - so my thanks goes to the whole team who made this repair a success. The team there takes the time to listen and help their customers to the very best of their ability. When I was in Ireland I went with my Dad to a Ford dealer there, where he bought his first car a Ford Anglia. Ever since then we have stayed with Ford for many years. I purchased a used 2022 Polestar 2 about 10 months ago. I have a PHEV Honda Clarity and I wanted to go all EV. The Polestar 2 has been a great car to own; it is very low maintenance, comfortable for tall drivers and passengers under 6 ft in height; the over the air updates are good, and we should be getting a NACS adapter in August 2024. I recommend the Polestar 2.

I own a 2017 Tesla Model S. It's literally the best car I've ever owned. I have driven it 157,000 miles and haven't done a thing to it except change tires. ZERO maintenance! No more oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, filters, nothing. I haven't even needed new brakes because the car slows it's self down so I rarely even touch the brakes. It cost me $400 to have my electrician put the proper outlet in my garage. I charge from home while I sleep. I am never inconvenienced by having to go to the gas station. No more pumping gas, getting gas on my hands, nothing, dripping down my car. I will NEVER own an ICE engine again. Couldn't be happier and will never go back. If you aren't sure, trust me, you will love every minute of driving this car and you will save money doing it.

My boyfriend bought his car from Carmax and it was a great experience. So when I needed a new car I looked at Carmax as well. They had everything I wanted but I thought I would get a better deal at a dealership... Boy was I wrong. Went to three different dealerships almost went through with a deal but they couldn't get me a good interest rate. It was so painful and awful I had decided to give up and just sink money into my current car and try again next year. I had an appointment at carmax the following Sunday and Dwyane called me to verify the time. The Tesla driver interface is unique, but becomes second nature and pretty good in just a few drives. Interior is very comfortable, quiet, and spacious, but a bit sparse for the price point. Performance is great but the inability of virtually all EVs to meet their EPA range estimates without going downhill with a tailwind is disappointing. Charging at home is great. The Tesla charging network works very well as does the Tesla app on your smartphone. We have seen none of the build quality issues others have previously noted. Tesla customer support for us has been good and responsive as we’ve worked through questions and bought accessories. Overall, with weight and aero being determinants of EV range, the Model Y is a very well designed vehicle. Aero drove the exterior design and weight the interior. The resulting looks are either something you like, or not, but for their purpose, they work. Right sized and shaped outside, very spacious inside. Recent price cuts made the value decision one we could live with. Compared it with every other EV of its size and very happy with our choice.

The is the FUTURE of automobile transportation! Absolutely FABULOUS car! No more gasoline, no more scheduled maintenance. If you hit the accelerator hard, you'd better have your head against the headrest or you may be injured. Zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds for my 2022 Model Y Performance. Fast charging Tesla Superchargers are always available across the country making long, cross country road trips a pleasure. At home I can charge 300 miles of range over night for $8 of electricity. Yes $8! Super Chargers cost more, but the speed and convenience is well worth the costs on road trips and it's still a fraction of the price of gasoline. I honestly look forward to getting into this car and driving it. I've owned a Mustang, BMW M3 and 5 Series, a Porche, Jaguar, Mercedes SL550, and many more cars. None were as fun to drive as the Tesla Model Y Performance. This is the future of automobile transportation and getting better every day.

Got the 2023 standards model 3 and it far exceeds any other car, especially ICE. Every single car I will own from here on out will be a Tesla. The other ev brands can't compete. Will also get the Rivian R1S, that is the only other brand I would consider. Don't buy an EV from a company that also makes gas cars unless you like throwing away $.
