This car is amazingly fun to drive: it has a ton of power and torque, and handles like a sports car. I have the Wind AWD w/ Tech Package. The cabin is a good mix of touchscreen and physical knobs/buttons. The Meridian sound system provides fantastic audio. There is a lot of space with the rear seats folded flat.

I bought a one year old GT line with 7000 miles on it for $37k. With no fed rebate available new or used its the only way the Kia is cost competitive with tesla and vw. I wanted the sunroof, heads up display and heat exchanger, so had to go w 4wd. Unfortunately the 4wd gt line also comes with 20" wheels with 255 width tires, this drops the efficiency much further than the heat pump helps it. The ride is also a bit firmer than in other 19" wheel equipped ev6 I've driven. Otherwise the car is great, actually listed by the EPA as a wagon, Kia wants to sell it as an suv, I love that it's a wagon. The only electric wagon you can buy in the US! (Porsche taycan cross turismo might qualify). The build quality is very good, feels as solid as my last Mercedes. Storage space is good but not as ultra efficient as tesla or lucid. Having standard controls for lights and wipers is a big plus. The software needs a little help as it is not in the same league as tesla when it comes to navigation and updates. The Meridian sound system is really bad. Meridian also provide systems for Jaguar and Range Rover and have some very well regarded and expensive home systems. I have no idea how this powerful 14 speaker system can sound so terrible but it does. It completely lacks smoothness and clarity, my 40 year old Proton clock radio is easier to listen to than this mess. I've gone online, tried every setting option available and have only managed modest improvements. Hopefully there is a software upgrade in the works that can help. The seats are comfortable, the range is decent and the charging can be fast. The full on performance in sport mode is a great party trick but eco mode is the way for daily driving. Buy a used one to avoid the immediate $20k depreciation and you have a great car that go head to head with anything out there.

Shipping took a little while longer than expected but that is par for the course given the distance. The financing and DocuSign process was all easy and efficient. We agreed on the price and after the fact realized I had paid a little too much but Tyler Moore kept to his word and sent me a check to make up for that which I very much appreciated. My wife purchased a 2024 Chevy Equinox EV LT2 last year and loved it. Since I too thought it was a terrific car and was thinking of trading in my Accord while it still had some value I decided to take the EV plunge myself. My beautiful black 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is the base model LT FWD with the $2,000 option packages ($1,455 Comfort Package and $545 Active Safety Package 2), which included everything I wanted and nothing I didn't, by far the best overall Equinox EV bang for the buck. Chevy can keep their power liftgate, interior mood lighting and self-dimming rear view mirror and I was happy to have kept my $8,300 in my pocket. The base models can be a bit challenging to come by but be patient, check around and see what your local dealerships can do for you. Mine was listed on my dealer's website as "In Transit" and they were nice enough to hold her for me. Another dealer had told me they were impossible to get and lost an easy sale because of it so don't be told the base models can't be had! She's comfortable, handles well, has plenty of power for everyday driving (it's an SUV, not a track car), is well built and generously appointed with a ton of worthwhile technology and standard features. The range is better than advertised and with a total of $14,500 in federal, state and manufacturer incentives on the table, snagging her was a no-brainer. The only negatives I've come across so far are the horrible reflection of the dashboard on the inside of the windshield (easily remedied by a pair of inexpensive polarized sunglasses) and no Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. I'm an Apple CarPlay guy but I have to say that for the most part I really haven't missed it. I paired my phone to the Google-powered infotainment system, logged into my Google account, approved a few "sync" options and so far haven't missed a beat. Navigation, phone calls, texts, even certain vehicle controls, all voice-based and working well. If CarPlay is the only thing keeping you from considering the Chevy Equinox EV then keep an open mind, take a test drive and see for yourself how much of a deal-breaker it is compared to your other EV options once your driven one. In less than two years, the Chevy Equinox EV has established a loyal, enthusiastic following (just check out the FB groups, online forums, etc.), a following that I'm happy to be a part of. It's nice to see a domestic automobile compare so well to the imports after residing in their shadows for so long.

As a driver of many vehicles, I can honestly say that this is the most fun car that I have ever driven. The ride is great, and the handling is too thanks to the low center of gravity and battery placement. It also has just about every safety feature that you can think of. With the large 17.5" display and the many adjustments you can make, it's almost like driving the space shuttle! I also love driving by the gas station and never having to stop there again. I just plug it in at night and I am ready to go the next day for almost 300 miles! Ans best of all, it's a Chevy so I know I can always find a dealer no matter where I travel.

My first EV and a ton of fun to drive. Loaded with tech but it does take a while to get it all working. Fortunately, Audi has free phone support and they are great. The car is so smart, it tells you when to take you foot off the accelerator and slows the car down when you approach an intersection with stopped traffic. Amazing! The car handles well with a low center of gravity, accelerates well and gets the advertised mpeg. My car averages 3.2 miles/KW in mixed driving which is right at 307 miles per full charge, although you should never run it down to 0%. On a 160 mile trip with some stop and go traffic, the car used 50% total charge so my range anxiety is gone. On a fast charger, it starts at 135 KW/hr slowing decreasing to 90. That translates into a reasonable 25 minutes 30-80% charge. I had great reservations trading in my pristine BMW M550i, but it turned out to be a smart move. Buy one!
