Great experience at South Tacoma Honda. David Kanipe earned our business by finding all of the discounts available to get us the lowest the price on our 2016 Fit. We had gone to two other Honda dealerships previously, but they didnt try too hardDavids offer was hundreds of dollars lower. He didnt have the exact Fit we wanted, so he personally drove over 30 miles to another dealership to get us the perfect car.

Kiss paying at the pump goodbye

If you do most of your driving around town and within 40 miles of your house you can essentially stop paying for gas. Before you consider an electric vehicle, you may have to consider your daily commute length in miles, whether you have a 220v plug inside of your garage or if you do not have a garage, if you have one nearby on an exterior wall. I have neither, but I do have a free charger 1 mile from my house which is not inconvenient to use at all. The best charging network in my area is Chargepoint. I recommend downloading the apps, and driving around looking at utility companies and city facilities to see what kind of free charging options may be near by. I have had no problems always charging for free and in fact in about a month, I've never paid for a charge. If you can charge within 1 mile of your house it's not inconvenient at all and the chargepoint app lets you monitor your charge and lets you see when chargers become available. If you do have to pay for charges, the cost to charge this up 12x at home based on average electricity costs and about 1000 miles a month is about $20 in most of the country, maybe even less. If you live in CA or HI, you can expect double or triple that price. IN CA if you have PGE especially. We got ours used with 16k miles on it out the door for $9,600 as our main car and a gas guzzling 12-14mpg 20 year old SUV as our just in case we need to go far car (which we plan to replace with a 40+ mpg hybrid within 3 years or a used chevy BOLT or Tesla 3) Prior to getting this car I was paying about $280 on average and up to $500 a month for fuel. The payment + full coverage is $180 a month. If I dumped all the savings onto the payment I'd have it comfortably paid off in 3-4 years and then would just be racking up hundreds of dollars in savings every month until the battery breaks. Biggest downside so far: Fiat dealerships are few and far between, they know they don't make money on repairs for these cars because there's not much to break on them other than some suspension and potentially some electrical components. We hit a curb and had to have it towed to a dealership, you have to request a flat bed, some tow truck drivers aren't familiar with how to tow these vehicles, and then the dealership lied to me about and told me the tire I had on the car was no longer produced and that I needed to replace all four tires. Other downsides: FORGET about being able to use the A/C as you please and especially the heater. These two features eat up energy like you would not believe. If you live in a very warm climate and can't get by with the windows down, it might be a deal breaker. Same for very cold places. The seats are heated which is nice in cold weather but if you live in like Michigan or something it might not be enough. The interior is pretty plasticky and the overall fit and finish of the car isn't great. We drove a spark too and just couldn't find one that was as great of a bargain, but the fit and finish is much better and the dealer network for Chevy is much larger than Fiat (at least where I live). Battery cost is prohibitive. Things I've read online place a replacement battery at around $23,500 to $36,000. I did find re-manufactured batteries online for $3500 but IDK. In California, the batteries are mandated by law to be protected for 8 years or 100k miles. If the battery goes bad after that, it may be a big paper weight. The Spark is no longer made, but currently the battery replacement cost per the dealership was $6000. Bottom line: This car is not for everybody, but if you do mostly city driving and especially if you're taking miles off of a car that is very inefficient, this could be the right car for you. There are definite trade-offs but they have been mostly a non-issue.

This car is a Rocket
by Matt from Riverside, CA

I love this car since it is so quick. People ride in it and they cannot believe how fast it is off of the line. The power makes it fun to drive. Although the car is small, the doors and body are solid. I charge it at work for free. However, when I do need to charge it at home, I pay my electric company (City of Riverside, CA) about 13 cents per kwh. A full charge is 24 kwh, so I end up getting about 90-100 miles for $3.12. Not bad at all. The only complaints I have are the sun visors. They are pretty much useless. I will say that it takes time getting use to unlatching the visors, reclining your seats or finding the power windows switches (they are all in positions opposite of cars in the US). Current owners know what I am talking about. Overall, I am so happy with this car. I bought it used for a fraction of the sticker price. It is a money saver!

I’m very happy!

I’m very happy with my purchase. At first I was skeptical because it is my first time buying a used car but my sales rep helped me through and made sure I was more then satisfied. I bought a 2013 vehicle. Yes, it has some wear but the car was in great shape and they even worked with me when I asked to have the car serviced before I took it. Thank you!

This is our second 500, and our first electric. The car is of course wonderfully styled. It is amazingly comfortable for the size. With the seat folded we can easily make big Costco runs, we are getting use to what is needed with an electric to avoid range anxiety. The range and charging time are exactly as advertised. Our gas 500 was the most reliable car I have ever owned, and this shouldn’t even require maintenance. We have solar so the cost of driving has basically gone to 0. Amazing car.

Love my little Electric Car
by Danamo from Chicago IL

I love this little car, it has great range and is perfect for driving around the city. It seems to be very reliable so far and is very practical for the way I use it. We plug it into 110v night, and it charges just fine. My work round trip is about 40 miles, and even with the heat cranking, I have plenty of miles left when I get home. This car is saving us a ton of money.

Hardworking and Honest!
by Julie S from Chicago, IL

By far the best dealership I've been too. It is very rare when you come across a salesperson that's honest and has great work ethic; and that is exactly what I got from Matt! I simply told him what I was looking for and gave him my budget on a Tuesday afternoon and come Wednesday morning I not only got my vehicle but it was delivered to me. Now that's great customer service! Bob (the finance manager) came across some difficulty when it came to my credit but that didn't stop him, he came through for me and I am extremely grateful. They did not try to pitch another vehicle (like every other dealership did) but instead did their best in getting me approved for the vehicle I wanted. Matt and his team were honest from the beginning and its because of that honesty and hard work that my experience was a great one. Thank you Chicago Fine Motors!

Perfect commuter car
by ChrisC from San Antonio, TX

This is the absolute perfect commuter car. Buying it used the purchase price and general cost of driving it is so low that it would be hard to beat it. I was looking only at electric cars and with electric cars range is a big portion of the car. The rated range of 87 miles has seemed to be pretty accurate but you could get more or less depending on how you are driving and the temperature outside. LOVE not going to gas stations and just plugging the car in when we get home. The car is quick and more comfortable and roomy on the inside than you would first think, with the exception of the backseat. It really is small but big enough for my 11-year-old when needed.

I am 33 miles with a little over half freeway, each way. I use 58% of my battery each way. Added level 2 16amp charger and now I can be fully charged by lunch, and have all night to top off at 115v athome. Smooth Quiet and peppy. hard to keep under 80 on the interstate, so smooth. Really fun to drive!

Stephen Wade Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Review
Good deal from a good dealer on a good truck.
by Daniel Cunningham from Beryl, Utah
December 3, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 2.5 (17 reviews)
The reason I went to Stephen Wade was that a friend had advised to go there and ask if they could match a pending deal for a Ram truck that was offered by a dealer in Phoenix. That deal had seemed to good to be true - a chance in a lifetime. But timing and circumstances made it difficult to make the drive to Utah and I was not certain that this dealer would honor the price of the 2017 Ram and the trade-in they had offered for my truck online So I drove the short distance to Stephen Wade and they spent a lot of time with me - talking about trucks and cars and rebates and looking for available vehicles on their lot that came close to what I had in mind. And they opined that maybe the deal in Phoenix was just to attract customers and not valid. What they did was locate a 2017 Ram truck, base model, that I liked and said they would order it and gave me a good price,. And they checked out my truck and told me the amount they would offer for that trade-in. I was disappointed at the trade-in value. I had not cleaned it up and cleared out my stuff because I was not really looking to buy - just checking them out. But I liked the truck - as it appeared on paper, having tested a similar truck - so I accepted and we began the sale process and then it appeared that truck was no longer available. They located another of the same model with a more amenities at a higher price. I did not care for the extra features and I wavered - and they lowered the price and added rebates and it came to almost as good as the tentative offer in Phoenix, and by this time I was excited about getting a new truck. So I accepted and signed the papers. Then I regretted the decision since it will put me farther into debt and the Veterans Administration has decided to ignore some medical expenses for surgery by a doctor outside the VA. which I had expected to get them to pay. A friend advised me to go back to Stephen Wade and tell them I want to cancel the deal because it was not a good move for me financially. I did so. They told me there was no 3-day window to return a new vehicle in Utah, as the friend has suggested. But they worked on it and came back with an offer to effectively raise the trade-in allowance on my old truck and refund the increase in cash. I figured I could use this to make a couple monthly payments on debts and by then my situation would be more stable and so I was happy to accept. Then the truck arrived and I cleaned out my old truck and drove there and made the exchange. They took some time to explain features of the new truck, changes in technology that I will take time for me to get accustomed to. And they have called me since to check on how I am doing with the new truck. Mostly I am pleased at the amount of time and trouble they went to get me comfortable with the truck and the deal. And I love the truck.

Very cute style, in and out. Easy to drive and park, cheap to run, great deal of bought pre-owned. German bones, solid Samsung battery, Italian skin and style, does not get much better. Best deal for an used EV with a 100 miles range.

Best Car Buying Experience
by Angela Price from meridian, ID
November 6, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4 (10 reviews)
I bought my first car from Fairly's 5 years ago. It was everything I wanted and was my first "Adult" purchase when graduating from college. They made the whole car buying experience go very smoothly and made me feel comfortable with a new experience. Since I had such a great experience buying my 1st car, when it was time to trade it in, I knew there was no question where I would go. They didn't have the car I wanted but within 24 hours Kolby was able to find exactly what I wanted in another state. Since it would be a week or so for it to be shipped here, we completed all of the paperwork beforehand. After Butch test drove my car that I was trading in, he decided it wouldn't be safe for me to keep driving it in the snow and ice so they but me in an AWD car until mine arrived. Everyone at Fairly's goes above and beyond what any other place does and make you feel like you belong. Whenever they put you in a car it is always nice and toasty in the winter. They make you feel like your business matters. I will never buy a car anywhere else. They should really change their name to Extremely Reliable Bob's because all of their cars are top-notch! Thank You Kolby, Butch, Richard and all of the others that made my dream come true!

Super low maintenance!

With 90 miles of range on a charge, it meets all my daily local driving needs, for pennies. Costs me about $1.65 to charge from empty. Only real maintenance is air in tires, and the onboard 12v system battery, other than that, just plug it in and drive it. Very comfortable, great quality and features, and a tremendous value in a used vehicle!

We searched and compared vehicles and pricing from Medford, OR to Eureka, CA and discovered Lithia of Eureka to have the best prices on vehicles with full loaded accessory packages. We also found the purchase process to be the most streamlined we have ever experienced. We especially love not having to deal with the DMV, thank you for doing this on our behalf! Vinny was a very personable sales person, we enjoyed working with him.
