The 500x has a sporty suspension and sports car feel. Steering is tight and braking is sensitive. Doesn't hurt to get good has mileage as well.

Had this car 3 years, and I’m planning to keep it longer, despite its faults. I have the 2016 500x 2ltr diesel, 4x4 auto version. All good, apart from... AC stopped working - and will be very costly to fix; and Intermittent gearbox problem - generally happens after a few hundred miles at motorway speed. Dealer doesn’t know what to do, out of warranty, and they deny there was a recall - which, if you google, is really easy to find.

Friendly and respectful salesman, and staff, not pushy. We said, on our first visit, that we are in no hurry to buy and we wanted to look at other makes also before buying, they were respectful of that. We stopped by several times over about three weeks, and every time, they were not pushy, and helped with any questions we had. We ended up buying a Lincoln Aviator from Champaign Ford City. The whole process was very good. The people at this dealership is top notch. I would recommend buying a vehicle from Ford City.

Having a baby soon. Needed something with more room and top tier safety rating. After researching, I went and drove a 2016 500x. Drive was great. Transmission takes some getting use to but I love it now. I get looks and questions about it all the time.

Great experience at CarMax Wichita! We worked with Sales Consultant Vernon Nelson and he was kind and helpful throughout the entire process. We felt zero pressure from him, which was a stark contrast to another dealership we were working with who pressured us hard and had an attitude when we didn't buy on the spot. Vernon just wanted us to have the best car for us, regardless of whether or not that was from CarMax. They offered us a fair price on both the trade-in and the vehicle purchase itself as well, so no we'd have no hesitations recommending them to others.

I put 66,000 miles on my first one before a roll-over accident. It was my daily driver & for weekend trips and was still going strong when it got rolled (no fault of the car!). When it rolled? It barely got dented! It saved my life. I now own a second one. Concerned about reliability? The Jeep Renegade is the EXACT same car with a different body! How many of those do you see every day! lol I'm 67 and I've owned and raced sports cars all my life. This crossover handles nimble & quick w/no body roll. Suspension is firm but with a smooth ride. The electric power steering is TIGHT & satin-smooth, with a turning radius that is AMAZINGLY tight. If your model has a backup camera, the "guide" lines turn w/the steering & are VERY accurate! It gets good gas mileage and has very good driving position w/comfortable, adjustable seats for long trips. It can accommodate even the tallest person. It's loaded with a lot of standard features (w/personalization) that are normally found in more expensive cars. Some 500X models come w/heated steering wheel, seats and/or wipers and even anti-collision radar. It's very quiet. No engine noise OR wind noise & nominal road noise. It's VERY roomy with a good-sized load area. Ive been able to fit very large items. The 9speed automatic transmission & 2.4L engine give you great acceleration & pull at any speed. The shifting can be snappy in city driving but it's very smooth shifting on curvy roads or on the highway. I prefer a manual transmission, BUT this transmission has a SPORT mode which alters the shifting nicely & also a manual-shift features which works very good in SPORT mode. The heater works quickly in cold weather and the A/C works great on the hottest days. It has TWO glove compartments. The smaller one is cooled and heated via the climate-control system. The "Beats" audio system has the best "stereo-imaging" but the Bose system has better "lows" overall. I've been VERY happy with this car, that's why I got the second one right after the accident!

I went to my local Dodge dealer near Santa Monica, and apparently they were too busy to help. Talking to them, they didn’t seem capable of doing anything other than changing the oil on cars, or selling them way over MSRP. I have been putting off getting my car serviced for a while as I had been dreading the car dealer service ‘experience.’ I need not have worried. I was met at the Ellis service entrance at the time of my appointment by Jerry the manager. It was a great welcome and he was super helpful and positive. He made had sure I knew exactly where to go. I then proceeded to the service desk where I was met by Eder. We d discussed a few things that my car needed and did the paperwork. The service really was amazing and really fast. A few hours later Eder called me and went through the specific list of things that needed doing. He managed to get most of it covered by the warranty, and gave me the choice of what was and what was not essential of the remaining items. He gave me a fair set of options and prices. It was also great to find out that Eder is really knowledgeable, it like I was speaking directly to the mechanic. Throughout the process, the communication by text and phone was really fast and impressive. I seriously wish my local dealer was as good as the guys at Ellis. Fortunately, I am happy to travel to the other side of town to have these guys look after my car. The level of service and the quality of work was exceptional. My wife and I drove up to Koons from Ashland to look at a used car. We ended up not feeling it was a good fit, but Omar asked us to check out the terrains. This car has everything I need. A little bit more space, decent gas mileage, and not to mention, it’s totally adorable. For a little SUV, it sure has some giddy-up.

Easy to handle on road , relatively comfortable for it’s size, the lock system is easy to handle, and I find it useful for small load , the mileage seem to be fine

So far, so good!!! I have not had any problems with it nor do I expect to either. I was initially just looking at vehicles for a future replacement but the price and the extremely low mileage on it was something that I could not pass on!!

Love my Fiat 500x. Have only had it for a short time, but so far a great car. Feels much bigger than it is and has plenty of power. Don't know why more people aren't buying them.

Forget the past. FIAT has improved drastically. If hey advertised more I think you’d see more on the road. It’s much nicer then any of the Japanese or Korean offerings and you can feel the solidarity of 5e car. 5 stars for sure. And a safety rating that surpasses most. Mine is a 2018 and if I had the newer engine in the 2019 I would have given the performance category 5 stars also.

First found my Toyota Sienna on cars.com and went up to take a look after confirming it was still available. Had a snag with my bank and he was very helpful with completing the purchase.
