I'm 6'8". Its hard to find cars I fit in period. That being said. I have a taste for small rockets. And the (GQ) fiat 500 sport I have fits the bill. Basically an abarth motor. But not the handling or cool badges/interior. None the less. My big butt fits in it. Got to crank the seat way back. But it's just me in there most of the time. Its a fun little car that rips corners and stupid fun turbo pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear. Watch that esc light flash. Good fun. And the price for a used one ain't bad. Digging the 500

easy peasy
Saw a car I Iiked online, called to make sure it was still available. Maurice answered, said yes, I told him would be there in 2 hours. He had the car in front waiting for me. I asked price out the door, brought a cashiers check and was out in about 30 minutes. Maurice and team were very polite, and easy to get this done.
Exceeds all expectations with a smile
We bought our 2017 Fiat 500 pop almost three years ago with 27k on it. We needed a small light car to tow behind our motor home and it fit the bill. What we didn't expect, was to totally fall in love with this little reliable and efficient car. I never could have anticipated how reliable and solid this little Fiat would be. We love driving the 5 speed with a nice purring engine under it's hood. We done nothing but oil and filter changes and tire rotations for three years, of course a air filter and cabin filter as well, but that's it. I would highly recommend this amazing little car to anyone. In town we get 45-50 mpg at 35 with the Cruise on, and at 80 we get 32-40 depending on hills etc. Car has totally exceeded all our expectations and more. No worries that Fiat stands for fix it again tony, no way, on this dependable great little car. I wish Fiat sold more of thier cars here, like in Europe and South America. Go Fiat!

Everything went smoothly.
Everything went smoothly. I was shown the cars I was interested in, allowed to go in and see them thoroughly. All my questions were answered. I was shown features about the cars I was not necessarily familiar with. I test drove the car and once I selected the car I wanted, proceeded to purchase it and fill out the paperwork without any problems. The vehicle I chose is beautiful and drives well. I am very happy with the purchase of the car and the process to get it.
FOUR TIME BUYER since 2014
Since 2014 I have purchased FOUR Fiat 500L's. The first was an Easy Model. With manual transmission. As a base model I was suprised at how much fun it was to drive. I traded it in 14 months later for a 2015. This was a lounge. In 2017 I bought another for myself and my wife has the 2015. I bought another 500L Trekking. I then traded the 2017 in. With two 500L's in the driveway I have a manual for my wife and automatic for me. These cars are functional and fun to drive. The easy model lacked navigation and Sirus and auto temp. Often joke they are so ugly but cute. If Fiat still made the 500L I'd buy another. I do not like the 500X as the rear area was reduced in size. It's not often I can't load a oddball size item in them. Each car has been dependable and easy to maintain. At 71 years old I'm not easy to please. I hope this helps. When I bought the first consumer reports did not rate the car very kind. I then sent a strongly worded letter to them. I lost respect for them.

Good for buying cars, not so good for maintaining.
In 2008, my folks bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Limited. The car sales man was great. He knew all about the car and showed us everything about it. The dealership it's self is beautiful and super clean. They also have AWESOME cars inside in which you can sit and mess around in. The overall rating is a 4 BECAUSE, it is so hard to get a hold of these guys to take the car in. We've called 4 or 5 times to only leave messages that have never been responded to, so we are planning on just going there whether they want us to or not!
Just traded in my Fiat 500x pop for this little beauty.
Just traded in my Fiat 500x pop for this little beauty. The Pop was my first Fiat and I really enjoyed driving that car. As long as you keep up basic maintenance, you can't go wrong with a Fiat. I've always wanted an L car. Extra room, automatic transmission (I didn't mind the manual stick shift of the Pop), love the side windows for better viewing. Fiat is a fun little car to drive! Maneuvers very well, wonderful turning radius for a "wagon", great gas mileage with an excellent Bluetooth & A/C systems. I am a very happy and satisfied with Fiat cars. You just can't go wrong them.

Sadly discontinued, great commuter car
My Fiat 500e was short-lived due to an accident, but it was a fantastic car once you get used to the range limitations. I work at home, but this car is a great second/commute car if that's relevant. First off, the car (mine was Celeste Blu) is a showstopper, and I constantly got compliments. The interior is equal parts stylish and quirky, all leather (mine was white/steam) and bright. A little cramped but crazy fun to drive. If you have a charger (I do), you just plug it in like a phone and it's always at 100%. The entertainment system is glitchy, but I added a mount and streamed from my phone. Overall, I miss this car and I'm sad I had to give it up. If you have the chance to get one, get one. It will probably be easy to sell later.

Love This Car
I love this car!! Driving in town is a joy, it handles so nice and driving any distance is a breeze too. She's just my size, so quite comfy. Great visibility and peppy. I really like the styling. It's a solid little car, even shutting the doors sounds good.

Fun, fun, fun, and very affordable
Dealers who sell pre-owned or off-lease are selling these in MN. There may be one near you, too. It's definitely worth checking, as the range is a make-or-break for many people. This car is affordable because of its range. Sure, the estimate will display up to 124 miles (could be more) when fully charged, but as you start driving, you'll see that first percent only gets you about half a real-life mile, and so it continues. I can absolutely count on 50 real-life miles per charge normally. Not normally: range can drop to 40 miles if the ambient temperature is below 10-degrees Fahrenheit, or above 95 degrees (F). Both the motor and the battery have to regulate their operating temp, and it sucks electricity to run those systems. Same with cabin temp. Too, some public chargers won't charge this car below 10 degrees (F). The displayed mileage I now call my "efficiency score." I've gotten it as high as 124, but generally sit around 110... because I don't use freeways. Faster speeds draw more juice, but given you're covering greater distance, it doesn't make as big a difference as lots of deep (slow downs and) accelerations. It's a learning curve, to be sure. I dropped a star from "comfort" because the back seats are super cramped, and the trunk is 11" deep with the seats up (though it's pretty normal as a two-seater). Had they angled the back wall more vertically, it would have created a lot more usable space. One last complaint: as with every post-2010 car I've seen, there isn't enough glass to actually see the road. I'm wobbling around in my seat trying to see around the supports, but I can't find anything different that isn't virtually vintage. Glass isn't cheap, lightweight, nor particularly safe... *during* a crash. Here's why I love it: as a mom (I have three people's worth of driving to do, plus some return trips), I'm saving over US$200/mo paying for electricity instead of gas. Yes, you can plug it right into a regular outlet for a slow charge. That's enough for getting around a decently-sized metro area, 'burbs included. I used my savings this summer to rent and ICE and take a road trip. It's dangerously responsive; the steering and acceleration are so tight it took me months to adjust. Way, way fun. People love that I'm tackling electric, and the magic of a car loan on this car makes it doable for anyone over 18 years old with a middling credit record. It's a good bleeding edge place to be. One caveat: second owners don't get all the digital features, like location tracking and the account that goes with it, Tom-tom/GPS-system updates, remote starting (which never worked for most people, anyway). Forget connecting or hacking... legally. It's still a great car, and you need internet on your phone to charge at public chargers, but the car won't connect to anything for anything except by Bluetooth, and even then only to make phone calls. You'll want a Bluetooth dongle to connect for media consumption.

I got a 2013 Abarth as my first car at 18 years old.
I got a 2013 Abarth as my first car at 18 years old. I drove it for 8 years until it was finally killed by a deer with over 223,000 miles on it and it was still going strong. It was always reliable and so much fun to drive. I drove it like any 18 year old kid would and it had no complaints. It made long commutes tolerable. It is also shockingly good in the snow. I only ever did routine maintenance to it and that’s all it needed. There were couple small things that started to go bad on it, such as the passenger window regulator, but nothing major ever broke. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who’s considering getting one. I would happily buy another one.

I THINK IT WAS VERY EASY TO DO BUNESS WITH THEM AND I AM SADFIED JIM PFALZGRAF
One of the best cars I've ever owned
Fiat didn't market the 500 correctly. I had a 500 Sport manual that I bought new. It is amazingly fun to drive, incredibly fuel efficient (37+ mpg at a minimum) and a ton of room when you fold the seats down. I went from a Porsche 911 turbo as my daily driver to the cinquecento (500 in Italian). The Fiat was more fun to drive basically because you could floor it everywhere and when I'd look at the speedometer I'd be going 52 mph! In the Porsche I'd be going 130. I drove it multiple times over a thousand miles in a day. Seats were comfortable, sat radio, and Beats sound system rocked. I sold it and bought an i3. Never had a problem with the Fiat. Inexpensive to maintain and the Fiat dealer was great for service. Fun to drive, utilitarian, and great gas mileage. I wish I still had it. If I had a giant garage, I would have kept it.

We managed to come to an agreement and purchased the car
We managed to come to an agreement and purchased the car we wanted. There was not much negotiation, but the car was well priced to begin with. We agreed to pay $500 additional in order to drive the car away and have our mechanic inspect it. We got a week to report any issues and could return the car for a full refund if not satisfied by any necessary repairs. Ultimately the car checked out and the only problem was a piece of windshield trim that flew off on the way home. We negotiated a $200 refund and got the repair done by our mechanic so we didn’t have to drive the car back to the dealer. So far, so good.
Fun to drive
This is exactly what I wanted for driving to/from gym, grocery store, etc. Fun to drive & good on gas. It is NOT good for driving up & down steep hills. Or accelerating onto a freeway. The power just isn’t there. But if you’re mostly doing flat city driving, it’s great. I love it.

Great work car commuter, nothing more than that.
It’s great for commuting to work and back but can’t go too far due to the range being limited. The seats are somewhat comfortable, not too bad. There is virtually no leg room in the backseats. It definitely is for small kids only and no adults. Over all it’s great for a one to two person commute around town and work. Nothing more than that.

Kiss paying at the pump goodbye
If you do most of your driving around town and within 40 miles of your house you can essentially stop paying for gas. Before you consider an electric vehicle, you may have to consider your daily commute length in miles, whether you have a 220v plug inside of your garage or if you do not have a garage, if you have one nearby on an exterior wall. I have neither, but I do have a free charger 1 mile from my house which is not inconvenient to use at all. The best charging network in my area is Chargepoint. I recommend downloading the apps, and driving around looking at utility companies and city facilities to see what kind of free charging options may be near by. I have had no problems always charging for free and in fact in about a month, I've never paid for a charge. If you can charge within 1 mile of your house it's not inconvenient at all and the chargepoint app lets you monitor your charge and lets you see when chargers become available. If you do have to pay for charges, the cost to charge this up 12x at home based on average electricity costs and about 1000 miles a month is about $20 in most of the country, maybe even less. If you live in CA or HI, you can expect double or triple that price. IN CA if you have PGE especially. We got ours used with 16k miles on it out the door for $9,600 as our main car and a gas guzzling 12-14mpg 20 year old SUV as our just in case we need to go far car (which we plan to replace with a 40+ mpg hybrid within 3 years or a used chevy BOLT or Tesla 3) Prior to getting this car I was paying about $280 on average and up to $500 a month for fuel. The payment + full coverage is $180 a month. If I dumped all the savings onto the payment I'd have it comfortably paid off in 3-4 years and then would just be racking up hundreds of dollars in savings every month until the battery breaks. Biggest downside so far: Fiat dealerships are few and far between, they know they don't make money on repairs for these cars because there's not much to break on them other than some suspension and potentially some electrical components. We hit a curb and had to have it towed to a dealership, you have to request a flat bed, some tow truck drivers aren't familiar with how to tow these vehicles, and then the dealership lied to me about and told me the tire I had on the car was no longer produced and that I needed to replace all four tires. Other downsides: FORGET about being able to use the A/C as you please and especially the heater. These two features eat up energy like you would not believe. If you live in a very warm climate and can't get by with the windows down, it might be a deal breaker. Same for very cold places. The seats are heated which is nice in cold weather but if you live in like Michigan or something it might not be enough. The interior is pretty plasticky and the overall fit and finish of the car isn't great. We drove a spark too and just couldn't find one that was as great of a bargain, but the fit and finish is much better and the dealer network for Chevy is much larger than Fiat (at least where I live). Battery cost is prohibitive. Things I've read online place a replacement battery at around $23,500 to $36,000. I did find re-manufactured batteries online for $3500 but IDK. In California, the batteries are mandated by law to be protected for 8 years or 100k miles. If the battery goes bad after that, it may be a big paper weight. The Spark is no longer made, but currently the battery replacement cost per the dealership was $6000. Bottom line: This car is not for everybody, but if you do mostly city driving and especially if you're taking miles off of a car that is very inefficient, this could be the right car for you. There are definite trade-offs but they have been mostly a non-issue.
