I bought a 2008 escape hybrid from a government auction-it was used as a fire department vehicle in Denver Colorado. The hybrid version is the best in snow and bad weather due to its extra battery weight of 300lbs over the rear tires. Overall I haven’t had any real issues except for having to replace the hybrid battery that you can get a rebuilt better than oem for a fraction of what ford would charge to replace. This vehicle is awesome and will go just about anywhere and is good on gas for an suv.

Dean said that the mirror will be replace and paint touched up when side mirror comes in. Extra Key ordered and programed after I submitted a review. Clean and friendly dealership.

For an AWD it gets great gas mileage, it's light design means you can go places heavier vehicles will struggle. It has excellent sight lines that makes sighting traffic easy and safe. Only bad thing is it is a Ford and Ford has awful dealership service, that is also very expensive in my experience from owning this vehicle. Good for off-roading and for commuting both around town and on the highway!

I have had no problems with my 2008 and believe if you drive normally and perform regular maintenance that you will get many years and miles of use.

Ford Escape hybrid is reliable and a cost-efficient overall to own vehicle. My son has one and I've had three. I drive one now with great success buy one find one get one. I saw a 2005 Chevy Express van for sale on line at Delta. I talked to Sal about it and after discussing it, I put a 500.00 deposit on it. He was kind enough to hold the van until I was in his area about two weeks later. Despite a few scratches, the van was everything I needed. The rare cargo area air conditioner was the selling point. We agreed on the final price and he accepted my personal check for the balance, even though I live 430 miles south. I was nervous about the drive home but the van ran perfect! I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend Delta to anyone. I heard from the mechanic I hired to check out the van that Sal is a good guy, and he is!

If you can find one. We bought this one used. It for a sale on a lot in 2020. We had it for 3 years this pass July 2023. We’ll keep it until it can no longer run. I’ve been all over in this car. Love it.

I bought mine used in 2014 with 65k miles and now it has 225k miles, original engine, transmission, and battery. No issues. Still going strong.

I owned one for 10 years and I did NOT have to do anything except normal Maintenace until the tenth year. The heater/air-conditioning had a problem, they took the whole thing out, had the vehicle for 3 days, and when I picked it up there were two bolts in the center consul, and I decided it was time to move on, so I traded it in with 10 or 20 thousand miles on it for a Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid. All the time I owned the 2009 Escape I was pleased with it.

Very excited as our sons first car. We went to a few places and no other place was as willing to help meet our needs. The car fits all of our expectations and then some, could not be more happy.

If you know what you want,and have the means this is the place. The Ken and Brian combo is the Best. If you want to haggle about price this is not the place. Prices are set to go against Nationwide market. If you do your research and they have the Vehicle, you're looking for this is the place. In my humble opinion.

Bought from a local dealer. It reached 200 miles with no issue. Gets 45 in city when a/c is off. Highway mpg is around 35.

Nice guys. They showed me their prices and fees. The test drive process was incredibly simple. Almost too easy. When it came time to start the buying process I didn’t understand all the fees and more fees that changed the price of a 2011 Camry from 10,900 to up around 13,000. I appreciate they gotta make a living and they’re a little shop…but I’m little too. I ultimately didn’t buy, but like I said, nice guys and way easy process to test drive a vehicle.

This car is great! Great milage in the city but not as fast/powerful in highways (could be faster, but it's great). If you don't drive for too long the hybrid battery might die - which it could be very expensive to replace.

This car is reliable and in great shape, I have not had any issues with it since owning it but I need all wheel drive now that I'm living in a mnt town

This is my 2nd Escape Hybrid (previous one was a previous-generation 2006) that I have well over 100K miles. It is comfortable to drive, serves my every SUV versatile need, and gives me great CITY mileage for a 4x4 SUV. Although it lacks some of the tech bells & whistles that have come to grace cars in the years since this was built, I still love driving it. It was sad to see that they stopped making it after 2012, and am not going to know what to try next when the day comes for me to get my next vehicle. Ford's excuse was that the "new" Escape with EcoBoost gets nearly as good mileage as the hybrid did, but they're talking highway, and almost all my driving is city. I hope that a future generation will bring back the hybrid, hopefully with an Energi (plug-in) version also.

I bought this vehicle originally because it was highly recommended to be pulled behind a RV. Which the reviews were correct. It was very simple to set up for being towed which is a huge advantage compared to other vehicles. In the intern, I am very impressed with its gas mileage and reliability. It has 157,000 miles on it and drives and sounds new yet.
