Looking for something that is going to last you a long time - maybe even something that you are comfortable letting the kids drive around in with their friends. Than this is the right truck for you. It everything that you need rolled into one truck, and is totally worth the money you will spend on it for gas - which is also the only down fall I see to this truck at all to be 100% honest with you.

2001 Ford Excursion review
Spacious, dependable, minimal maintenance required besides routine (oil change, tires, etc.) Excellent for traveling long distances with a family. Enough room to spread out. I tow a 12' utility trailer loaded with a side by side and don't know it's even there except when I stop for gas. Wish they still made the Excursion for I would buy another one.

The Excursion can do everything except fit into Smart Car spaces. It carries your family or belongings from Point A to B and gets you there safely. I have owned many trucks in my life, but my 2000 Ford Excursion was the greatest vehicle I have ever owned because of its flawless reliability, luxury, safety beyond anything I could possibly drive, and the gorgeous looks INSIDE & OUT. Freezing AC in all THREE compartments from drivers seat, 2nd row, and third row that are all adjustable. Gorgeous leather, the Best V10 engine ever made, & it still gets decent gas mileage. I love this truck, as FORD went out of their way to beat any truck ever made. MY FAVORITE VEHICLE....my LIMO.
