Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

The whole sales process went rather well. These event for me are always approached with a lot of anxiety. Getting a good price for the purchase and the trade is hard work. In advance I contacted the dealership and explained what I was looking for. He responded in short fashion with a few options to consider. I choose the one that fit my needs. I went off and got a few estimates on my trade in value. We met the following day and in 20 minutes I had what I wanted. They made some money I got a good number for my trade. All that was left was a good rate from a lender. The finance person in similar fashion got a great rate. She had to try a few lenders but in the end the numbers were good. I got the sense that they were not adversaries but we were working towards a common goal. This is my second purchase from this dealership. That’s something I rarely do. I had started with another dealership and the person wouldn’t commit to any price info unless I came on site. For me that’s wasteful. Ashland sheehy didn’t make come onsite until we had agreed in principle on the selling price. Second time here and another good experience. Ask for “Mikey”. Very helpful.

Transaction went very smoothly, from when I inquired online up to the final buying process. Chris Anderson was so quick and accommodating with my questions through email and in person. He introduced us to Mikey (Allen Johnson) who did an excellent job throughout the entire transaction. He made sure that all our requests for discounts and add-ons were granted to our satisfaction. And of course, Tony, the finance man, was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I commend all the staffs for their amazingly excellent customer service. I want to express my appreciation to James Lynch Bill Talley Ford for helping me through a maintenance issue I had experience with my 2013 Ford Focus. My vehicle had been in the shop before because of my driver side window not rolling up and the motor had gone bad. It was replaced a year ago. Unfortunately, I had experience the same situation a month ago. When I did get my car to Ford I was told that it was not under warranty and that I would have to pay out of pocket just to have it looked at. I paid for my car to be looked at to get the same report as before, the motor went bad. I called James Lynch who had sold me Ford cars in the past and told him my didisappointment with Ford and that they need to stand behind their work. James told me to allow him to see what he could do and within a half an hour my car will be covred by Ford. I am so happy that dealers like James did not just sell me a car, he showed me compassion and concern as a friend. Thank you James for keeping me in business with Ford.

THE dealership was kind and supportive. They alleviated me of my fears about the credit and buying process. They were not condescending and answered my questions about the new technology on cars. I am 68 years old and a woman so a lot of the new advances on cars, I am not familiar with. These guys are the kindest and most patient people I have dealt with. Services are prompt and also private if need be.

I had an issue at my last oil change. JD called me and took care of everything without me even asking. It involved ordering a part and calling me when it came in to have it replaced. He did exactly what he said he would do. I very much appreciate him taking the time to fix my issue, and treating me as a valued customer. Not many places do that these days and its much appreciated. I will continue to have my Explorer serviced at this location.

I was satisfied with the experience, even though l spent along time with the financial person. I think this process could have shorten, as I told him l didn't want a service he went on to explain it anyway.
