Car is very comfortable, the ride is smooth. With the plug in, can get to work and back without using gas!! The truck is small because of the battery, but actually is high so we still use it for travelling.

I bought this car used about a month ago for a commuter and I've only filled up once. The fuel efficiency is slightly below 60mpg. It's a comfy drive, interior is plush, and the exterior styling is beautiful.

The Ford Fusion Hybrid Energi is a wonderful vehicle. Our “company” previously had Crown Vic’s. Ford came out with a pursuit variant of the Energi, and I was assigned to drive it. As I recall, we bought 10 of them. They were very durable. I liked the car so much, that after I retired I bought one. On a trip from Arizona to California, I can get 50 mpg. Or I can run around town in Electric mode for about 35 miles. There are 2 caveats to point out. Certain 2019 and 2020 cars are under a recall, and the trunk is very small. 2 sets of golf clubs is all that will fit. I have seen gasoline at the $7.99 level, in Needles, CA, so the hybrid aspect of this car is very helpful. I can go about 625 miles on a full tank, and a full charge.

Have owned three Fusion's over the years. One gas Fusion Titanium and two Fusion Energi plug in hybrids. All were GREAT vehicles! Comfortable, drove and rode well, only routine maintenance/service required and very good in the snow. Ford discontinuing this car was a HUGE mistake! Wake up Dearborn Michigan!

Excellent luxury vehicle. Considered Lincoln, but this platform is identical for much less. Be sure to get the fully loaded model, 2018 or newer. Has all the latest safety features- moonroof is very nice also!

I only get gas once every 6 weeks. If I lived in the city it would probably last longer. Great luxury sedan. Probably the best car out there for saving money and gas.

I really like this car! It is a PHEV and has a 25 miles range at speeds up to 84 mph. It goes to about 95% of the places I travel to and returns completely on electric power. It is perfect for my family. Ford made a huge mistakes when they stopped making sedans in the USA!

The safety features are incredible. The comfort and adjustment features are wonderful. And so nice to make so many short trips just on electricity. We fill up with gas about once a month! And been very reliable so far

For my husband & I it's perfect. It does most of our driving on electric power, so it's much cheaper. To date We've driven it about 900 miles and it's averaged 64 mpg combination EV/Hybrid. It does way better than Ford, or any of the car mags said it would. All they show is equivalent of 97mpg EV, 20 miles range, & 42 mpg average in Hybrid mode. But, it's the combination mileage that matters. We constantly see better than 100 mpg in EV mode.

Really have enjoyed owning and driving this car. Had a long commute so we purchased the Energi version of the Fusion. Was getting close to 60MPG combined between the electric motor & the hybrid motor! The only way I could have beat that was if my boss let me plug it in from the work parking lot! (I would have if my office wasn't in the industrial part of Kent!)

Overall the Fusion is a great car. The car I bought is a unique color. It’s very economical to drive and full of safety features .

Recently I had to get a newer car and believe me I was stressed because of the situation but when I went to CarMax which this is my second car from them it was once again amazing to work with them! I would like to share my recent experience at the service center on July 21, 2025. I visited Envision Ford of Duarte for a routine 20,000-mile service on my 2024 Ford Maverick. To my surprise, I was quoted $1,400 for the service. Despite waiting 20–30 minutes, I did not receive a clear explanation for the high cost, which led me to seek service elsewhere. I then went to Norm Reeves Ford Superstore Service Center, where I was quoted $390 for the same service. The difference in both pricing and customer experience was significant. I received prompt, courteous, and professional service. I would especially like to commend Eduardo Millian, who provided exceptional care and attention throughout the process. His professionalism made a lasting impression, and I truly felt valued as a customer. Eduardo deserves an A+ rating and 5 stars for his outstanding service.

I've owned the 2020 Fusion plug-hybrid for two years. I have gotten as high as 33 miles on battery. Slow starts and moderate acceleration gets you 33 miles. Add the AC or heat you'll get 26. It gets me all around town on electric. Trips get 44 mpg. A lot cheaper than owning a full electric car and a gas car. Cville VA.

almost 100% trouble-free in 10 years and almost 100k miles. 45+mpg on highway. 72mpg overall since 2013. Regenerative braking means still on original brake pads... only 33k miles on gasoline engine.

This is the fanciest car I have ever owned. I mainly wanted remote start and heated seats. I have so much more that I love it.

I've researched all of the hybrid's and as a Ford owner I found the Fusion very stylish and it's interior above board. The MPG has average 42-48 mpg and higher on the interstate's. As my first hybrid I believe it was a good decision. If you want comfort and style plus a great ride with outstanding MPG this is the one to get.
