The main reason I got this car was the gas milage and it doesn’t disappoint! My drive to work is 14 miles one way. My old Jeep, I had to fill up every other week. Overall, I’ve owned my XL for about 2 weeks. So far I’ve only taken one trip with it which was a 2 hour drive one way. It handled incredibly well with the slick roads, and the drive was enjoyable. I took one star off reliability because the battery issue. 1 week into owning it I took a 5 minute trip to the grocery store which turned into a 5 hour ordeal. The car only sat there for about 2 minutes and I went to remote start from my app. It said there was an error and I figured I was too far away (about 100 yards). I got out to my truck and started it and it gave me a bunch of error messages. It couldn’t drive. So, I called to have it jumped. They came out to jump it and even afterwards, it had all sorts of error messages. I ended up waiting another 2 hours for the tow truck and ended up being stuck at the dealership for another hour. The next day my car was returned to me, good as new. It was a battery issue according to the dealership. They put in a new battery and it’s working fine again. That’s why I took off one star for reliability. I’m hoping this doesn’t happen again in the future. Also, the amount of recalls is impressive and disheartening. If you’re in the market for a small truck with good gas mpg, this is your car. I don’t use the bed, but I plan on getting a cover so I can put luggage back there for my next trip.

Mary is amazing and helpful! This place is legit! Gave me a GREAT price for my car and a GREAT price for the one I bought from them. Buying a car always takes forever, but they made the process super efficient. I also loved to low pressure from the sales team. Didn’t feel any obligations to buy other than I’d be missing out on a great purchase.

I own the 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid and so far with roughly 28,000 miles on it I love it. Cannot believe the gas mileage that I get. From April thru Nov I am in the upper 40's to low 50's. That is driving in the cities and highways between the cities. Any long travels on the expressway and my mileage drops to the mid to low 30's. When I purchesed it in 2022 I stayed with the standard XLT interior and I do not regred not upgrading it. It is comfortable for a vehicle and it is quiet. I have easily gotten 4 golf bags in the truck bed and 4 golfers in the cab with one of those golfers standing at 6 foot 8 inches. I've also been able to get 2 10 foot kayaks in the bed with no problem. Yes, they extended beyond the tailgate but had no problems. So far I rank my purchase of my 2022 SLT Ford Maverick Hybrid as one of the top two vehicles I've purchased in my life time, and I will be 74 in 2025.

I’ve put 52k miles on my 22 fwd ecoboost with zero issues. Average mileage with 50/50 Highway/city is 28.9. It averages 31 on the highway.

Recently purchased a 2026 Honda Ridgeline from Auburn Honda. They were great to work with and I didn’t feel pressured. We worked out a deal that we both agreed on fairly quickly. The Ridgeline I purchased had just arrived at the dealership so they hadn’t had time to complete their usual new vehicle preparation. They were accommodating and arrangements were made for me to return and finish the final details. I very happy with my new purchase and everyone that I worked with. My experience did not start out great and I left a scathing 1 star review just two weeks ago. I will refrain from repeating the particulars of the combination of events and experiences that earned them that initial review. Brian Zwald (GM) and Mark Roos (Fleet Director) reached out to me very quickly with offers to make the experience right. I was very skeptical that there was anything that we could do. At that point I had already ordered and paid a deposit with the another dealership and was content to wait the seven months for the car I wanted. In the end, Mark and I agreed to a very fair and reasonable price that didn't leave me feeling like I was being taken advantage of. It was almost like the no haggle, no bull crap experience that I wanted from the start. Even better, through some dealer allocation magic, I might even be able to get my car sooner (which to be honest was really the only concession they could offer to get my business back at this point since the other dealer had already done or agreed to much of what they offered). While there is no promise as far as exact time frames or delivery dates (Ford Motor Co still control the manufacturing process and dealer allocations), I am pleased that they are making the effort. I also want to give a shout out to Yves Salas (former Sales Associate of the Year, former Rookie of the Year award, and recently promoted - congrats Yves!) who Mark assigned to worked with me to get the new order going. He was very knowledgeable (I'm one of those people who will ask a question I already have the answer to, so that I can establish a baseline of trust when it comes to the questions I don't have answers for yet), not only about the vehicles he is selling, but seemed to have a great deal of awareness of what else the other manufacturers are up to as well. If only he had been the one working the lot when I stopped by back on December 23rd and had the experience that really started this all off. All of that being said, I am glad we could work something out. This will actually be my fifth purchase from Future Ford since 1999 and I never had a complaint or concern about my prior experiences. While things did not initially go as smoothly as any of us wanted, if things pan out as we hope, I strongly suspect they will see me again when it comes time to buy car number six. My first p/u truck. My first hybrid. My first CVT transmission. Outstanding mileage (>40 mpg!). Good for five people. Excellent for four people. Easy to drive. Excellent safety features (added Lariat safety features are worthwhile). Owned for one year. Basic maintenance and the recalls were no problem. High quality affordability made by our neighbor Mexico. I would highly recommend.
