Used Ford Maverick trucks for sale near Union, MO

I own the 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid and so far with roughly 28,000 miles on it I love it. Cannot believe the gas mileage that I get. From April thru Nov I am in the upper 40's to low 50's. That is driving in the cities and highways between the cities. Any long travels on the expressway and my mileage drops to the mid to low 30's. When I purchesed it in 2022 I stayed with the standard XLT interior and I do not regred not upgrading it. It is comfortable for a vehicle and it is quiet. I have easily gotten 4 golf bags in the truck bed and 4 golfers in the cab with one of those golfers standing at 6 foot 8 inches. I've also been able to get 2 10 foot kayaks in the bed with no problem. Yes, they extended beyond the tailgate but had no problems. So far I rank my purchase of my 2022 SLT Ford Maverick Hybrid as one of the top two vehicles I've purchased in my life time, and I will be 74 in 2025.

I walked into the dealership & was impressed by how nice it was. Then I saw something that I haven't seen before, a very nice saleswoman named Tori Williams. In all the years that I've been buying a new car I have never dealt with a sales woman so I picked her to help me partly because I wanted to see just how knowledgeable she was about the vehicles. I am a very picky about what I wanted I'll admit that so I was curious about how she would accommodate me. She was wonderful. Very nice & patient and no matter what I asked she had an answer. I looked at the vehicle I was interested in & then told her I would think about it. After spending an hour with me I thought she might be a little upset because she spent all that time with me and I ended up leaving without buying a car right then. She could tell I was a little apprehensive about committing to a car payment for a new car versus buying u used car. She was very understanding tho & I left to think about it. Later in the day she called me and told me she had found all these rebates for the Escape & how much they would give me on my trade in &I was impressed & elated. She had made it possible for me to afford the new car that I wanted. She even had it in the color I wanted. I told her I would be there on Monday to get it. I went to buy it & she had all the paperwork read for me to sign then put on my plates and went over all the features patiently so I was completely comfortable with the new car when I left to drive home. There was no pressure on me by John the financial officer,to buy all the extras like all the other car dealerships I've dealt with. Tori Williams is the best car sales person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting & I sent my sister-in-law to her to buy a car. She was very happy with the help & bought her husband the vehicle he wanted. So bravo Lou Fusz for having a woman sales person. I'm recommending her to everyone. She's patient, she really cares & there is no pressure. What a breath of fresh air.

I was wanting to downsize from a F150 super crew because of garage space and I needed something easier to get in and out of. The Maverick fills both needs very nicely and gets lots better fuel economy. So far I am very happy with my decision.

This review is for Jason Gross service manager. I needed an engine replacement in my Ford edge due to coolant intrusion and after talking to Jason within a few days, he had ordered to parts. I brought the car in and a week later I picked it up and it’s been running great ever since then. The main reason I got this car was the gas milage and it doesn’t disappoint! My drive to work is 14 miles one way. My old Jeep, I had to fill up every other week. Overall, I’ve owned my XL for about 2 weeks. So far I’ve only taken one trip with it which was a 2 hour drive one way. It handled incredibly well with the slick roads, and the drive was enjoyable. I took one star off reliability because the battery issue. 1 week into owning it I took a 5 minute trip to the grocery store which turned into a 5 hour ordeal. The car only sat there for about 2 minutes and I went to remote start from my app. It said there was an error and I figured I was too far away (about 100 yards). I got out to my truck and started it and it gave me a bunch of error messages. It couldn’t drive. So, I called to have it jumped. They came out to jump it and even afterwards, it had all sorts of error messages. I ended up waiting another 2 hours for the tow truck and ended up being stuck at the dealership for another hour. The next day my car was returned to me, good as new. It was a battery issue according to the dealership. They put in a new battery and it’s working fine again. That’s why I took off one star for reliability. I’m hoping this doesn’t happen again in the future. Also, the amount of recalls is impressive and disheartening. If you’re in the market for a small truck with good gas mpg, this is your car. I don’t use the bed, but I plan on getting a cover so I can put luggage back there for my next trip.
