I returned Hawkeye auto. The truck I wanted to buy was sold. I had a different salesman Luke. He explained the other salesman was inexperienced & overwhelmed. I understood, it was busy. Luke was great I purchased a better truck & I'm very happy. I may have overreacted on my first review. I would recommend Hawkeye auto .

Great little truck. Because of it's small size it can go into tight places. I pull a 5'X16" trailer to pick up limbs and supplies from the hardware store. I installed 30X9.50x15 tires and did not affect it much. Still pulls like a mule. it is not a speed demon. I am 6'3" so I am a little cramped that's why I did not give it a 5 in comfort or interior design.
This dealership was top notch! From the beginning, Walt welcomed my husband and me with open arms and not pushy sale tactics.
Tyler (sales) went above and beyond to make sure we purchased a family vehicle that was in our budget and meet our needs (& wants). Steve (finance) gave us clear direction on our options, answered all our questions. We felt like no information was ever hidden from us. The process was absolutely painless even with a toddler in the room! Given the fact this is a family-owned company, we truly felt like part of the family as we drove away! Thanks, Kelsey!

My '93 Ford Ranger XLT is the regular cab with 3.0L V6 and is rear-wheel drive. My wife's grandfather bought it new in 1993 and we inherited it in 2012 with 109,000 miles on the odometer. This truck has been extremely reliable, even though it's 24 years old.
I have only replaced parts that wear out over time. I have not had to do any extreme repairs outside of routine maintenance.
The seats are comfortable, but being 6'3" sitting in the regular cab can feel a little cramped. I have driven it in snow multiple times without any traction issues.
The truck rides smooth even at 70mph. I still get between 21-24mpg depending on the weather/route. These are fantastic trucks and super cheap to maintain. I would recommend one to anyone who needs a small truck with decent gas mileage.
Brandon was patient, thorough, informative, personable, and not pushy at all throughout my entire buying process. Not for one minute did I feel pressured into upgrading this or that until I had made my decision on an item. He brought joy and personality to the information he presented me with so that I was able to make the most informed and knowledgeable decision in a vehicle that I could have possibly made. All the staff were genuinely excited for my purchase and what it meant for me and reinforced that if I had any issues, questions, or concerns that I could contact them at any time.

i flipped my truck over about 4 years ago and I didn't get hurt at all. I broke the axle and missed the gas tank up. but I didn't move at all in my seat. sug as a bug in a rug.... and my dad worked on it for a little bit and I drove it the rest of my junior and senior year and it still runs today.
John Miller was amazing to work with on our new car purchase. Planned in being there all day to buy a car and was just there a couple hours. Great to get my Saturday back! Great small town dealership!!

The Ford Ranger is just not good. I Don't like it at all. Please don't buy one. I would never ever recomend.
My husband and myself was very please with our deal we got at Nelson Ford. The salesperson Eric Friedhoff and Danny Hutchens were very helpful in helping to make our trade smooth. Really appreciate these guys and their help. Thanks

My dads pickup that I drive quite often. It's stick so its fun to drive and I also learned to drive stick on it. Its a old SPLASH version and to tell you the truth, they are quite rare in SPLASH.
There is 270,000 miles on this thing and it still runs normally.
Joshua Treat was both very busy and absolutely with me and my wife when we came in to buy a car. Since we had a COSTCO relationship established there was no bickering over price and no hassle. We got a Bolt, which is a different breed of vehicle than a gas powered one, and Joshua gave us enough information to get out of the dealership with no mishaps. Maybe a little more practical advice about how to use/deal with an Electric Vehicle would be nice, but that is very hard to give just the right amount. Excellent service, and so far it appears to be an excellent choice for vehicle.
