2000 Ford Taurus review
Bought the 2000 SE Flex Fuel model from a family friend in 2023 for $500. Previously owned by their grandma who only put 88k miles on it. So far only needed a new battery and starter. Great for my 45 minute drive to work.

2008 Ford Taurus review
I was the 2nd owner of this car. I bought it with 86,000 miles on her. She now has 255,000 miles on her. I have had no significant repairs from 200,000 to the present. It is, by far, the best, most reliable car I have ever owned. When we considered purchasing it, the sales person helped me research it. The professional review said the trunk was so big, you could fit 5 bodies in it. No lie, it has a huge trunk! She loves to go fast. She prefers the highway. I can honestly say this car is at her best while going 70 mph. I had 3 teenage sons, and we traveled comfortably to Colorado from Michigan. It handled the mountains with ease. It has its quirks, but with good guidance with a mechanic, you can manage them. The information out there says to expect 300,000 miles out of her. I believe this is accurate. She shows no sign of slowing down. It's great.

2012 Ford Taurus review
Great solid and comfortable car to drive. There was a bit of a learning curve getting used to the visability when backing up and Changing lanes but now that I'm used to it I'm more comfortable. Just find that this car might be more difficult to drive for a new driver or more inexperienced drivers.

2008 Ford Taurus review
I recently bought a used fwd, SEL model with 154,000 miles and, ironically, as the review directly below mine stated, the engine had a bad ignition coil which resulted in a malfunctioning pcm (computer). I had the faulty ignition coil replaced by a local mechanic and was able to remove the pcm myself and send it to Circuit Board Medics in Greenville, South Carolina. They repaired it for $277. I reinstalled the PCM and the cars runs beautifully. (side note: I was told to replace ALL the ignition coils and plugs before reinstalling the PCM and starting the engine but, not having enough money to do that, I took a chance that the 1 ignition coil I had replaced and the repaired PCM would be ok... so far it has been) Given the miles and the fact the car's 15 years old, I couldn't be more pleased with how well the car still performs. The ride is very smooth and the engine, no longer misfiring, responds perfectly when I step on the gas. From what I've been told, Ford's 3.5 Duratec is one of their more reliable engines when taken care of properly, which I'm thankful the previous owner seems to have done. I got mine for around $2,000. A new battery, new ignition coil, and a repaired PCM cost me $552... so, $2,500 in total for an aging Ford that doesn't feel old at all. Would have loved to have bought this car brand new.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.

2006 Ford Taurus review
Overall, A good value. Fairly Dependable V6..A few issues would make it a much more dependable car. Starter catches oil drips, ruining the starter. Speedometer needle fell off. Odometer light goes out periodically, paint fading on roof and hood.. Small issues take away from the Taurus overall.

I purchased 2005 F350 sight on seen from the dealer. At first the fixed price sales process was a little annoying however, but watching the vehicle everyday on the dealer website it did come down over time (approx 30 days) to what I felt was a fair price. It did seem like they did a good job of addressing safety and drivability issues before listing the vehicle and agreed to an alignment, rotation and balance before delivery. The salesman (Leo) was honest, helpful and straightforward. I would recommend working with him for any Transaction. Being out of state they agreed to allow an independent mechanic go through the vehicle prior to my purchase. Salesman even helped arrange having the truck delivered to the Salt Lake City airport (for a fee) to help out with my return drive. Overall a very good experience.
2007 Ford Taurus review
This is actually for the 2001 Taurus I just sold and bought a low mileage 2007 to replace it. I am Taurus-addicted as they are great cars for anywhere near the money. They are mechanically identical with the '01 needing much brake work and a new compressor but the power train is bulletproof. Great cars for the bucks spent.

2000 Ford Taurus review
Got my 2000 Ford Taurus SE (Flex Fuel) in 2014. 9 years and 45k miles later its not bad. Paid 2k with 97k miles on it. Had a few minor things have had to fix but not much. Coolant was always suspect from the start and was always rusty gummy like. The car ran fine though even though heater stopped working possibly clogged heater core. Not sure, I paid 2k and not that cold where we live so never bothered to fix. A/C still blows as cold as any car including brand new car AC. Tires wear evenly. Leaks a little oil. LED interior lighting was a major upgrade I did for cheap. Overall I rate it 8 of 10. 10 of 10 if not for oil leak and no heater. Got great value for 2000 bucks 9 years ago. Still going.

2001 Ford Taurus review
Love my old Taurus SEL wagon.It’s comfortable,quite,roomy and handles very well.The low rear bumper height makes it easy for my dog to jump in the back.It has humongous cargo space behind the rear seats.The twin cam engine is silky smooth and the wagon gets better than expected fuel economy.I baby it because it’s old which helps the fuel consumption.A/c works well and the power drivers seat even has a adjustable lumbar support.I will be sad when I have to retire it.There is nothing on the market from domestic manufacturers like it. I’ll buy a European wagon next I guess no suv for me!!!
